Panda loads a M16a2 with a magazine of M862 ammunition, perfect for those close range training days.
"I think I'll start with a single target 550 meters away, don't want to start too ahead of myself", he thought to himself.
Panda then clicks the rate of fire to a semiautomatic. Easing his finger over the trigger, Panda aim and fires 5 rounds down the firing range. Four in the chest, one in the head.

James strode over to a table containing several M16A2s lined up on the table, James picked one up checked it for a moment then truned a walked to small walled-in section of the rifle range. James switched to semi-auto and aimed down the sights. This was were he belonged, he was at peace. He loved the feel of the M16's forearm grip and the cool metal of the trigger. Mitchell fired off four bullets, the burnt through the air and hit their marks. On a human shapped target two were head shots, the other two hit the torso, both in one side of the torso. James smiled and lowered his rifle. He raised the rifle to bear once more and switched to burst. He fired two three round bursts. One burst hit the chest in the heart area, the other burst hit the head tearing it to shreads. James switched to full auto and opened up the rest of his clip on the target, by the time the clip clicked empty, there was nothing left of the target. James smiled and took out the clip, dropped it to the ground, and slamed a fresh one in. James was through for the day, so he switched saftey on and slung the weapon on to his back. He checked his sidearm for a moment then holstered it.

Two things, Pvt. the M16A2 Service Rifle does not fire full-auto. Also, Enlisted Marines carry sidearms only in certain sitiuations. (*looks at avi* This is what happens when you play with fire, kids. lol)

Being a specialist and sharpshooter for many years, the worn hands found their way to the beautiful M14 standard issue rifle. It's smooth design fitted the rough hands, and the scope was sharp as a needle. Jack swung the rifle around his shoulder and found his way to the range. Doing what he knows best, Jack began to take apart the weapon, cleaning and wiping and blowing out any imperfections within the machinery of the tool. Putting it together just as smoothly, Jack looked down the range. Finding the dried wood of the target, he centered his focus and breathed out....and BOOM!

"Damn, I was off by a few centimeters."

You never have been known for your subtlety, General. I can't ever remember a time when you chose accuracy over rate of fire.

Sgt.Holben grabs himself an M-16A2 off the table and walks onto the firing range. He first ajusts the sight for the correct range and switches from safety to single fire. He then aims downrange and fires a few rounds."hmm still alittle off."(general dosent the Marine Corps use the M-16A4?)
