Chirichi calmed down alot after the bike went off. He crept up closer to it, very curious, because although her had had many run ins with motorbikes in the past, he had never seen one upclose before.
Where am I going? Akila looked up at the sky as she thought about the question. Usually the stars helped her think, but there were none to be seen in the mist-covered skies. She sighed, wondering why she had come to this depressing continent in the first place. Did she here about it somewhere, did her heart tell he where to go, did she follow some unknown force? She cursed herself, remembering it was because it was the cheapest ride out of Bedonis. I hate being broke...
She stopped thinking, remembeing Sarina and smiled...
I go where ever the winds tell me... If there was any wind, anyway...
She laughed, realizing she was right back where she started, broke and lost...

"thats kind of like me, going were the wind tells me"
Sarina looked up for a moment trying to see what Akila had been staring at, but couldn't see much.
"do you mind some company on your journey, that is if your chocobo dosn't mind"

"i was thinking about going to a place i have heard of called lynis. its quite a journey to get there, but theres suposed to be somthing very rare hidden in the city."
Sarina looked at Akilas possessions and could see she hadn't much
"If you need supplies for the journey i have plenty."

Chirichi was close enough to the motorbike that his beak rubbed against the paint. He pushed it slightly, wondering if it would do something in responce. It was cold and lifeless, not like the transports Chirichi was used to at all. He chirped in dismay. Lynis, hmmmm...Akila thought it would be a good idea, to go with Sarina, she had a plan and more importantly- supplies. It wouldn't be smart to pass up an offer like that... Akila smiled and nodded to Sarina. Hey, why not? A jouney with a purpose sounds a whole lot better then wandering aimlessly! Chirichi won't mind, will you, Chiri?Chirichi looked up from his reflection on the bike and glared at Akila, not wanting that thing to start up again. Then he thought better of it, not wanting to be hungry again.

"whooa! careful with the paint job."
Sarina quickly steadied her motorbike and jumped back on.
"Okay, its agreed then, we will head to Lynis. It will be good to have some company on the road, as long as your chocobo behaves himself."
Sarina stared at Chirichi.
"Lets set out then shall we, we will have to stay close its easy to get lost in the mist."

Chirichi glared at Sarina. He fluffed his feathers and cawed indignantly- he believed himself very well behaved. Akila laughed and patted him, knowing he was very pissed off at the moment.
You insulted the poor guy, but he'll get over it...
Chirichi gave Akila one good peck on the head before letting her mount him. Akila rubbed the now growing bump on her head as she told Chirichi he'd have to keep up with the motorbike. He looked at her with a gleam in his eye that Akila knew all too well- he was gonna try to one-up the bike.
Chiri, don't you dare, we have to say together or do you wanna get lost again?
Chirichi glared and turned away and chose to listen to his rider... for now anyway...
Okay, were ready...

Sarina revved up the engine, with a smirk on her face from the reaction she got from chirichi
"He he, okay lets go"
Sarina made her way in to the mist keeping a slow pace so they could follow. looking at her compass to see which direction they were heading, as it was near impossible to see around you in the mist
"We should keep, talking so we know were we both are, I am sorry I scared Chirichi. You seem very close."

Me and Chiri? Yeah, we're really close. I'm basically his mother- I raise him from a chick. His mother died from sickness not long after he hatched and the owners of the chocobo farms said he was extremely weak and there was no reason to keep him. So I took care of him and trained him to be fast.
Akila laughed remembering the time she beat the Chocobo farmer's son in a race. It was the greatest feeling running at top speed then- he's gotten faster since then-to prove to them that it wasn't just "top breeding" that made the bird.
Chirichi kwehed at Akila, he felt he was running to slow. Akila nodded back feeling the same way.
Chiri say's go faster!

Chirichi whistled in delight- he was more that ready for a challenge. Pumped up from the meal and the music, he quickened his pace to follow the trail of dust and mist left by the bike. As the cloud thickened, he knew he was getting close as Akila streed him to the right side of the dust. Akila dunked low to avoid the winds from the major speeds and nudged him to go a little faster. Coming up to the passenger of the motorbike, Akila held up two fingers in the sign of victory and laughed.
Caught up with yah! Now it's our turn!
Even though Chirichi knew he couldn't outrun a motorbike, he thought he should have his fun for now. Making sure to keeping in range of the music and Sarina's eyesight, he ran further foward and let out a "kweh!" of delight. Akila, feeling Chirichi's happiness couldn't help but let out a howl of her own.
WHOOOHOOO!

Never said I could beat you, but it's worth a try anyway!
After all the crap she's been through, it was great to be riding for fun again. So far on this little adventure of her, Akila and Chiri had been riding to get out of one sort of trouble or another, usually brought on by Akila. She just had a natural knack for getting into tight situations. Never bother her none... only Chirichi. He was probably the only reason she tried to stay out of trouble now, but it seemed to find her anyhow...
How much longer until Lyni--
Now sooner had the words come out of her mouth that an ear-shattering boomin noise came from in front of them. Chirichi slowed his pace to end up a little behind Sarina's bike as another boom sounded, this time the ground shook with it. Akila shouted
What was that?!
((I feel like a little chaos is in order... twisted you can decide if you want to ignore it or not... 3nodding ))

Sarina was glad shed chosen to journey with Akila, she was an interesting companion to have around.
"I don't know..., your giving me a pretty good run for my money"
she listened to Akira, ask how long it would take them to get to Lynis.
"not long....."
Sarina quickly put on the brakes, bringing her bike to a sudden stop, as the echoing, booming sound came from in front and the ground began to shake.
"i don't know what it is, but it sounds bad. Get ready."
Sarina searched ahead of her in all directions, but couldn't see anything through the fog. the ground began to tremble around them as the noise got louder and she got of her bike ready to face what ever this thing was.
(ooc its fine, i think we need a bit of action)

As Sarina looked on, hearing Chirichi's chirping behind her she could see a shadowy figure emerging from the mist
"I hope you know how to use that shirken Akila"
