Arctic Garousuke *weeps quitetly* MIDNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!! Yeah it is pretty awesome that Toon Link is in over a character who had no chance of being playable. I hate Toon Link's Tether recovery and special entrance and FS.

I hate Toon Link's Tether recovery and special entrance and FS. No chance? Hardly. I think they were on crack when they put him in in the first place. ENOUGH LINKS! Just because there's a different one in almost every game doesn't mean that every Link should be playable!

Leprechaun Taint NekkyoMaster Yeah, his name is Toon link... so I think this Topics name should be changed. Has anyone seen his final Smash? Since he's a clone it's problably Link's FS. I personally am suprised he's in. I wanted someone else from Zelda. To tell the truth, he kinda scares me. hes not a clone he has soemwhat different move sets

All his moves come out much faster but sposedly he's stronger than Link as well.
Other than that, and the fact that his boomerang curves upwards he is really the only clone on this game.

i would have to say, for a good final smash he uses the wind waker, call the giant tornado (used in the middle of the game to travel between important/common places) that will suck up the enemies and cause massive damage.
i have not seen it so i dont know i just made up a cool one.

toon link's real final smash is the same as link's but the triforce looks diffrent

I hate that they added him in. I would have much rather had Midna/Wolf Link. If they could make up a move set for R.O.B., I'm sure they could have worked Midna into the game.
I have such a long list of characters that I would have liked to see in Smash before Toon Link.

Midna had like no chance of getting in brawl before toon link...midna really had no chance at all really, and i'm 100% certain this was her only chance of being playable in smash bros, if there is a sequal she won't be playable in it.

No, Midna had no chance, plain and simple. Just because people like seeing Link as a dog, it doesn't make the imp a popular character. I promise you, in 2 years, when the next Zelda comes out, you'll forget all about Midna and you'll say that the new sidekick in that game is "amazing". As for Nintendo Power's "vote" for best new character, who was she competing against? Princess Rosalina? There haven't been many new characters on Nintendo consoles as of late. Toon Link, on the other hand, is both a homage to Link's child form as well as the new Zelda game just released on the DS. Why do you think Roy made it into Melee? It boosts sales. Seriously, stop hating the character selection and just move on with your life.

So, what is with the Toon Link glitches. How do you screw up his D-Air Sword Plant and D-Smash Ground Slash? One stalls if you're too high in the air and the other creates instantly ridiculous knockback, regardless of percentages...

I think that they put Toon Link in it is to have a represenitive on the game series. Link, Zelda, and Ganondorf are on most of the series but Toon link represents Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. One more reason is since Phantom hourglass was so popular and they had partial data for young link, it would have taken less time to make. Also if someone could find me a picture of Toon Link doing his Final Smash for my profile, I would greatly appreciate it.
