XavierRay Don't worry, I didn't think you were referring to me specifically. I've met those people any they annoy the crap out of me. Personally, I'm enjoying XS more, mostly because it's actually well translated (since I'm a loser American, and I only speak English), and has the best voice acting I've ever seen in a game. I'm hoping XG will get redone in the same style. Oh yes I whole-heartedly agree, the voice acting is superb! The only dub that I've heard (in both anime and videogames) that I'd say surpasses it is probably FLCL - excelent choice of vocal talent and high quality translation. Though I am a bit worried about some characters in episode 2's dub, mainly Jr. - since he's got a much bigger and more serious role in ep2 I'm a bit concerned that his english VA might not be able to pull it off quite as well as his Japanese VA. I can say that I'm rather confident in most of the other english VA's abilities, Shion's a little on the iffy side, but really she doesn't speak that much. Ah but Febuary is so far away!

i dunno, i like albedo in japenese a lot better than american albedo. but then again ive heard more jap albedo than yank albedo so...i dunno. i dont like that wicked deep voice thing. or at least it seems deep after listening to the jap version

Oh yeah that one little short one... Well I think you're mistaken about his voice in English, because it's actually a lot higher and more...flamboyant? No, that's not quite the right word to describe it, but it's close enough. In Japanese he sounds more creepy than crazy (kinda psychotic) and in English he sounds more insane - if that makes any sense. Lemme go look for a clip... Though on the topic of Albedo's voice actor - that reminds me that he'll need a second voice actor for all the flashbacks (sorry but I don't think Crispen Freeman is quite talented enough to pull of small Albedo too). Whoever they used in episode 1 (if I recall correctly) sounded pretty odd, though he only had one or two lines in flashbacks. I can't remember now...and I'd go watch the scene again but Ema has my only English copy of XS!

I don't think I have any tests this week (I think they're going easy on us since we have PSATs on Saturday). You could stop by as early as 5th period (I have art) and you could stay through lunch and 6th probably - though Mr. K is adament that you sign in at the office if you do visit. But I can't go off campus for lunch (they only let seniors do that -.-). But back on topic - sort of - I think I may have lost my ep1 memory card too (gotta go search for it >.<) but if I find it I can lend that to you so you can finish the game scream ! I'm pretty sure I have saves close to where you left off... Oh well I have to get back to reviewing episode 2 for the school newspaper - it's so hard! There's just so much stuff to write about...

All of the roles I have heard him play, they have always been serious older characters (Except in Chobits). I would think the guy who does Jr.'s voice may do Albedo's younger voice it because Crispen Freeman does the voices of Albedo and Nigredo when they are older.

oo! its like star wars! cause like, a new hope was episode 4 even though it was teh first one to come out, and everyone who saw it in 70-something was like wtf? there are no 3 movies before this! and then teh prequels came out and were prettier than the first 3! except they were also awful. so then xs is not like star wars in teh sense that xs prequels kick all butt. if they are indeed prequels. w00t! i got to work star wars into the conversation! doo..doo...dodododoooooooooodo. dodododoooooooodo. dodododoooo. dodo. dodoooodo. dodoooodo. dodooooo...dododo....anyway.
and to shojo: han could kick kirks butt any day of the week!

Well of course, anyone could kick Kirk's a** *doesn't particularly like Shatner* but you're forgetting a whole range of other characters - like what about 7 of 9 (she's like the Star Trek equivilant KOS-MOS) or even Piccard?
But back to the actual topic, I don't know about an XG remake. All of the evidence I've seen supporting the idea that the XS timeline will run directly into XG is disputable - it really could go either way, but there's no conclusive evidence at the moment of a direct connection. Similarly there isn't any evidence completely debunking the idea either. We'll just have to wait for episode 3 or 4 to see.

Xenosaga Ep I started in the time of Ep II according to PW, mostly because Ep I would make for an incredibly boring game. I personally think that there are probably going to be more than six games at the current rate.

I love everyones theories it makes me want to find out more of what Monolith is hiding in the Xenosaga story!!! domokun Well I have some theories of my own, alot of Xenosaga is related to religion, Zarathustra is a religion too ^^ Anyway... I have Xenosaga II the Japanese Version, my Japanese is not so fluent but I understand whats going on the majority of the time.
But here is a spoiler about U-DO I'm going to unleash its acronym though since I'm new to the Guild I don't know what EXACTLY has been posted, so please care not to take to much fun out of bashing me ^^

About KOS-MOS and Nephilim
We don't really know when Nephilim was exactly created, Nephilim we all probably know this, means the son of angels, or something like that (I'm not really religiously affiliated)
So, Shion meets Nephilim IN KOS-MOS' Subconsciousness, within KOS-MOS subconsciousness they discover that KOS-MOS knows a great deal about Shion's past, and has created it within her... some of this information may be incorrect ^^;;; I have to go over the game and play it again and again alot heheheh =D So I think Nephilim and KOS-MOS are one in the same, or they are connected, when KOS-MOS was born Nephilim was born, this is my theory, Nephy could be KOS-MOS' form of feeling and stuff, or her subconsciousness (Oh dear Im confusing myself *cries*)
chaos in Episode II o.O;;;;
I'm not sure if this is correct cause it was to fast for me to hear correctly, but I thought I heard someone in the Xenosaga II game call chaos 'Ieyasu' which is the Japanese word for Jesus... I couldn't hear quite well but @_@;;;;;
Shion and KOS-MOS
Shion is important to KOS-MOS, we all know this, it's practically a mother and daughter relationship thingy ^^ BUT... Shion was not hired in Vector for her intelligence, she was just... hired, and not so long after she was hired she was assigned to the First Devision....hmmm Wilhelm was up to something o.O I heard this one theory that chaos represented chaos and KOS-MOS represented peace and tranquility, they said that this was shown by her eye colors, red= peace blue = chaos, though it sounds kind of... wierd, I thought I would share this with everyone. They also said that Shion was a key factor to keep KOS-MOS' in a peaceful state which is why she was hired by Vector.
-side note: omg I was told that Shion was part realian ; ; thought I would share that with you too.

Honestly I think Abel is Ziggy's son, they look SO MUCH ALIKE its unbelievable.... @_@ But this is my thoughts on that XD
