ProfileName: Snaedis Icelandic, means 'snow goddess'
 Stage: Adult. She's getting older.
Gender: Obviously female, thank you. -.-
Pride: No. She doesn't like the idea of having a family, least of all a large one.
 Mate: Euron, once No.
Children: Luran, Palun No. She hates children.
Family: None. Snaedis likes her solitude.
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual, although you can't really tell. She'll snap at a male faster then anyone else.
Roleplaying Color: Actions are done in default black, and her dialogue is #1BA7D6.

Unique Physical Traits: Snaedis is actually a bit smaller then the average female lion. From nose to tail, she's only 4'5, and height wise, she's at an even 2'8, three inches shorter then average. Don't mistake her small stature for a weakness, though. What she's lost in length and height, Snaedis has more then made up for in muscle. She's a bit of a stocky lioness, which is unique for a rogue like herself, but she's always managed to find something to eat every couple days to tide her over, so she certainly isn't starving for her lonesome life. She has a collection of small, barely visible scars on her underbelly up near her chest, but they're so slight that her fur mostly covers them. She's constantly tense and ready for an attack, even when there isn't one to be found. It's instinct, really. And despite her picture, Snaedis nearly never smiles unless it's at someone's expense.

Personality: Snaedis is a cold, withdrawn, and hateful lioness. Well, perhaps that's a bit harsh. After living her life and learning so much from her past, Snaedis went from loneliness to having a happy domestic life and then was flung right back into her lonely One Lion life style. After the attack on her family, she withdrew into herself and avoids all lions as well as she can. She hates prides and families because she's angry and jealous that they're alive, and they haven't lost what she has. She hates herself a little for being such a coward and running when she could have, and should have stayed and helped Euron save her cubs. Instinct and past mistakes have taught Snaedis that she has to survive. If it means throwing others under the bus, so be it, but they would never be people who meant anything to her. To make sure something like that never happens again, Snaedis is content to drive away any lion who thinks for a minute they can waltz in and try becoming part of her life. She's only enough room in her heart for herself and selfish as that is, she's okay with that. But she is a lioness, and despite her cold aloofness, she does have a soft spot for cubs. Especially lost and lonely ones. Mind you, she won't take them in, but if a cub's lost, she'll help it find its family and then disappear before the parents can possibly see more then a white coat disappearing off into the night.

BackstorySnaedis never put much thought to her past. It was just easier that way.
She never paused to think about Euron, the sweet lion she had met so soon after growing into her adult fur. She never thought of Luran or Palun, her first and only cubs. She never wondered about them, about if her sweet Palun had the same white fur or if it had darkened with age. She never wondered if Luran had her spots like he did as a young cub. She never stopped to wonder if Euron was getting on well without her. She never wondered these things because, try as she might to forget, she knew the answer to those questions.

She knew that by now, Palun's beautiful white fur would be gone, rotted away to nothing but a bit of mangy, bloodied fur. She knew that Luran, too, would've been devoured by now by filthy scavengers. Snaedis knew Euron might've gotten away but the odds of her loyal, loving mate leaving the sides of their children for his own safety weren't just slim, they were none. He was too loyal for his own good. He should have fled when he had the chance, like she had done. Instead of watching their cubs being slaughtered.

Snaedis doesn't put much thought to her past, but it haunts her whenever she closes her eyes because she did look back. Just once, just enough to (she tries to convince herself its true) make sure that she's escaping, and she saw. It was a sight that haunted her still, made her quiet and withdrawn, snappish and hateful towards those few lions who still had their mates, who hadn't lost their cubs to scavenging monsters.

She barely remembers the time before meeting Euron. She had been an orphaned cub but somehow, she managed to live and learn and thrive on her own. Loneliness wasn't something she recognized as bad because it was all she had known. And then she'd met Euron, and everything seemed to kick itself into a much faster speed than she'd been living in. One day, she was arguing with him over a dead animal she had hunted and didn't want to share, and it seemed like the next day, she was swollen with cubs.

Life with Euron had made Snaedis realize what loneliness was, and she learned more in the months she was with him then she had ever learned on her own. And then the cubs were born, and she wasn't just a mate, she was a mother, and a whole new series of life lessons had thrusted themselves upon her as she struggled with the urge to bolt, or stay and be a good mother like she never had. She stayed, if only for a while.

And then, when Palun and Luran, her beautiful boys, were old enough to start learning to hunt, it had happened. Like the coward she was, Snaedis ran. She ran from her cubs, she ran from her mate, because deep in her bones she recognized the danger and she fled before it killed her. She sacrificed her cubs and her mate for her own survival. It was the worst mistake in her life, but she couldn't undo it. Instead, Snaedis fled, and went back to her loneliness, the cold and hard way of living.

Snaedis never tries to think about her past, because it's always there when she closes her eyes.

 Friends
Caelan is a tentative friend of Snaedis's, and if she'd be honest with herself, he's an endearing sort of lion. She's impressed with him for being with Nyxie who, as far as she knows, is just a silly young lioness who got stuck with cubs when she wasn't ready, though she doesn't know the whole story so this might change. She's not, however, impressed that he seems to think she's some kind of rock to go lounging on, the big lug.

 Enemies
She doesn't have any real true enemies, though she doesn't get along with many people idly.

 Acquaintences
Hibana, a cub Snaedis met only once. Very chatty, kind of annoyingly optimistic. Hasn't seen her since that meeting at the waterhole.

Alcarin, another cub Snaedis met. Brother to Hibana, very quiet and kind of shy. Snaedis would never admit to this, but she thought he was cute in a shy, timid sort of way.

			            PlotsSO.
After thinking a while, I decided I have a few very specific plot ideas in my head for Snaedis. But you should probably know this ahead of time: Snaedis will die. After a certain time, when all of the other things are finished probably, I will ask Alinedra to retire Snaedis, and she will cross into the realm of the Spirits to have her peace. Nothing you say can convince me otherwise, because I'm very sure that Snaedis does deserve to die, not because she's mean or cruel but because she deserves peace.

So, what's that mean? It means for the time she is alive, you get to play with her! Anyway. On to the ideas, yeah?

 Mate?
I would like Snaedis to get involved with a male. Probably younger, given her current age. She got to be a mother once and lost that and her mate, I want her to be able to have it again before she passes on. So, offer up your menfolk. If they think they can handle her. cool

 RP Goal
I want Snaedis to have accumulated at least 50 finished RPs before she passes on. I want her to have a sort of full life. And besides that, with every RP, she'll probably become less bitchy and more mature and elder-ly. That's a lot, right? So I better get started. 8D

 Friends and such!
Nearing her time, I do want Snaedis to have had friends, because when I decide to officially have her make her final journey, she'll feel the need to tell everyone herself. But it'll only be close friends, so if you want to be one of those close friends, get in touch with me so we can start RPing. ;D

If you want to RP with Snaedis, plot or not, please PM me! Or IM me on AIM, I don't bite. (AIM: Kinnetik Twink) I'm really into getting Snaedis more active and not so mean, but I can't do that without interaction. D:
