"Well, yes. Lady will always be Lady... But Lady would not want little ones to carry on her..." She paused for a moment, trying to think of a word that would be complimentary. Lady was loud, high strung, high maintenance... "Prettiness?" That was something, at least. Lady was pretty, even if it took her too long first thing in the morning to become so.
"Lady might like it. Might. Maybe." If someone could put up with her long enough, that was. It would take a special kind of stallion, that was for sure.

"The world is blessed quite enough as it is," she replied matter-of-factly, her scowl turning up into a grin as the conversation topic continued. "And when Lad-I grow old and wither away, why should I care if the world is lacking in beauty? I wouldn't be there to enjoy it, now would I?"
Her wing had absentmindedly begun to preen and primp at the ends of her hair, ensuring they still had their bounce and curl to them, and she nodded in the other mare's direction.
"I suppose the only way Lady could even reconsider such a dreadful task would be for her to see proof that having children is as "wonderful" as others say it is." She mused, enjoying her moment of playing with the thought. No, she figured she would never find any true reason as to why child bearing and raising was such a 'joy' in life, but then again, how could she properly judge such an action if she'd never experienced it herself? "Does Tapanga not see how much trouble little foals can be?" she asked, curious.

"A little bit of good trouble is better than waiting around for bad trouble to happen." She snorted softly as she shook her head, still unable to believe why Telikos was so dead set on holding down the proverbial fort in one place. It was so boring.
"Does Lady not know how much fun making foals can be? It is worth the little bit of trouble that raising them might be." She was certain that her own foals would be just as wild in spirit as she and Dynatos were... But that was part of the joy of it all, knowing that there would be others to carry on where they left off.
"Tapanga thinks Lady could be good mother... Maybe. Lady would have beautiful daughters, at least."

"But no trouble at all leaves the world in a peaceful place," She remarked in return, the grin spreading wider across her face. Lady had to wonder to herself if Tapanga was as sure on the inside about this motherhood role as she appeared to be on the outside. Such confidence was rather impressive, for what Lady assumed was her first time being a mother.
Her cheeks tinged pink at the mare's question, and she was quick to be huffy of it. "Lady wouldn't even dare risk that chance to begin with!" True, she didn't know what it was like to make foals, but she wasn't about to start trying! After all, what stallion out there was good enough for the likes of her, anyways?
Her demeanor was quick to calm itself, however.
"Lady..." she hesitated, then continued on, "Lady appreciates Tapanga's compliment, though she herself isn't too sure if that would be entirely true. The good mother part. Heaven knows anything to leave my womb would be beautiful. But... Tapanga has a wild charm about her. It will be interesting to see what her little ones will be like. Does Dynatos know of his children, Tapanga?"

"Peace all the time makes things dull. Makes people forget what it means to stay on guard. Makes people lazy." She snorted softly as she shook her head. "Tapanga would rather live in interesting world than dull, boring one."
She couldn't help but be inwardly pleased at making Lady huffy over the question she asked. It was good to see the other mare ruffled, even if only for a bit. "Lady does not know what she is missing..." A pause for thought. "Of course Dynatos knows. He put them there." She huffed, brow furrowing slightly as she thought of the stallion who could move around freely while she couldn't even -fly-. She should be off huffing at him. "... Maybe Tapanga should remind him..."

"Boring won't mess up one's hair," was the retort, gold-tipped wings instinctively rising to pat and fluff curls in desperate need of attention, "Though I do see where you're getting at. Life would be boring, if it weren't for the occassional... surprise?"
Her eyes drifted back down towards Tapanga's midsection, and she visibly shuddered. Oh the stretch marks that would make on a mare's body! What sacrifices one must have to go through to produce little miniature mixes of the parents. No, Lady had no interest in a mother's role. Too much sacrificing, not enough benefit.
"Not too worrisome for a father, now, is he?" she snorted. "But then again, I could see a certain overly large flutter wandering away from others, as she tends to fly--er, waddle around on a whim."
Nodding her head, she tilted just low enough for her crown to dip as well, before her head rose again. "Tapanga would probably do well to find Dynatos, and remind him of the pretties she has for him?"

"She would." She snorted as she turned away from the beautiful wind mare, head held high as she wadd-- stormed towards the forest, pausing for only a moment to glance back over her shoulder. "Tapanga will bring her pretties to come see Lady once they arrive. Lady can help Tapanga think of names." She smiled brightly, rather proud of herself for having ended a conversation on a bright note.
Now... To find Dynatos... And throttle him.

Lady hesitated, unsure of how to respond to such a statement. Did she want to be around any more foals than she had to be? And not only that, but foals of the impish Tapanga?
She watched the jungle mare continue on her trek into the forest, no doubt to find and abuse the male who had enlarged her stomach. After all, if any male made her fat, Lady knew he'd be a dead stallion, the next time she'd lay eyes on him.
Taking a deep breath, she finally knew what to say.
"Good luck!" she finally called out, lifting one wing in a farewell wave, as it was courteous of her to do so, "And may all your children be blessed with beautiful hair!"
