He listened to her, then pondered about what she was trying to say. "I think I've heard about the different types... and I met a stallion who has a kelpie for a father..." he then paused as he remembered the meeting "Looks to be true" he laughed. He playfully nudged her with the soft part of his muzzle "It will be fun, you don't have to worry about it." He then turned towards the birds and took a few steps before lowering himself towards the ground, then he turned with playful grin at her.

"Oh really? Sounds interesting." She said as she thought if she met anyone like that. "I don't believe I've met anyone like that, but then again, I'm never that curious as to ask what species one's parents are." She replied. Not expecting the nudge, she stumbled to the side a little before regaining her balance, giggling at him. "I'm sure it will." She beamed before watching him return to the birds and crouched down again. After a moment or so, she snuck a bit closer before, she too, lowering herself to the ground.

He was slightly worried when she started to stumble, "Sorry, I shouldn't have pushed you too hard" but then relaxed when she regained herself and giggled at him. He grinned back at her "It can be very interesting at times" he pondered then continued "Most are happy to open up about their families." He then continued a few more steps before adding "He looked just like us, you would never would have been able to tell he was part Kelpie" he laughted quietly trying not to spook the birds.

She shook his head. "No, it's quite alright. I'm rather small, so it's easy to push me about to be honest." She told him with a slightly embarrassed giggle. "Oh, I'm sure that they are happy about telling about their families, but I'm not one to pry unless they tell me themselves." She told him, slowly scooching toward the birds after him.

He smiled at her and nodded then I'll have to bemore careful next time, he joined in the laughter. He nodded "That is true, but when they mention a parent I just get too curious and want to know more about them and their family." He waited for her til she was beside him and then moved foreward beside her.

"Yes, perhaps you do." Charl replied teasingly. She was tempted to nudge him back, but figured, because of their size difference, she would just end up doing just that... nudging him. When he explained that curiousity takes over when others mention their parents, she shook her head. "Curiousity does kill the cat you know." She told him in a teasing sing-song way, still creeping forward slowly.

"True enough, then I must be lucky" he couldn't help but laugh quietly at that "Especially when it comes to the not so friendy types." He pondered for a while "I wonder what their family reunions would be like" he smiled playfully again. He could see the birds clearly, each one bickering to the other hopping from branch to branch in the bush.

When he mentioned the not so friendly type she frowned. Now, she knew that not all these types were either kalona, or skinwalker, but she still couldn't help but be a bit worried. "I hope you're careful about that, you might get hurt." Worry aside, she kept scooching closer to the bush that had the birds in them, stopping when she thought they were looking her way before moving again. At his wondering, she couldn't help but giggle. "I'm sure they're interesting to say the least."

He smiled calmly at her before adding "I will be, I've been lucky so far" he tried hard not to laugh. "Very much so, it would probably be very short" he paused as he realised how close they were getting "this is the closest I have been to them." He couldn't help but pause for a moment to admire the birds.

"Well, luck does run out, so please be careful." The hint of worry back in her voice. She couldn't help but worry for him, even if he was a grown stallion, she can blame her doting heart for that. She had actually stopped sneaking up to the birds some distance behind him, feeling that if she went closer, she would startle them since she didn't really blend in too well, but then again, neither did he. She chuckled at his admittance, "I can imagine."
