"You should see the girls," Reaper commented dryly, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. Actually, he wasn't sure if the girls were worse or better than Gabriel. It was a matter of perspective, after all. At least they were beautiful and a force to be reckoned with. Their mental and emotional state might be questionable but physically, he had some bad a** children. There was no way that could ever be argued and really, that was the only thing he was going for at the time so he couldn't claim to be disappointed. He simply never thought of the behavioral aspects that could come from it.
The conversation was becoming uncomfortable for him. The talk of feelings was never something that Reaper was able to handle well. He was fond of Nimue though and would like to be a part of her life, even if they did not work out, so he couldn't disagree with his father in most ways. Nimue keep him on the tip of his hooves and he had to admit, in a way, he liked that. As he grew older, he worried that his life would become more dull and it really wasn't the kind of life he wanted.
Mature. Grown. Those words rang in his ears. So much time had gone by, hadn't it? He wasn't the awkward creature he had been when he was trying to flee. He had changed so much since his life here in these lands. Some of those changes were for the better and some for the worse but they shaped him into what he was. He would only continue to change, adapting to situations as they come. It was interesting and he was pleased to know that he had made progress. "I think I might grow used to having you and mother around," he added. In his own way, he was saying he was finally comfortable with the idea. He wasn't sure seeing them often would help him, he might just grow all soft and gooey, but it would be nice to visit them once in awhile.

"It seems like you have a lot on your plate! I'm not surprised, you can handle it. You always were good at dealing with one hundred things at once." With a hefty chuckle, Raguel could only beam at his son, since he was still beyond relieved at their current conversation. There was only so much he could do as a father, and he hoped that he was fulfilling his duties to the best of his abilities. He knew his son would have been fine without his guidance, but at least Reaper could rest assured at their newly formed relationship. Hopefully they could be even closer then what they were in the past. A father could only dream!
"I suppose you should go follow your son." he then said, while glancing in the direction that Gabriel trotted off in. "Your mind has some thinking to do as well, and even I cannot intrude on that conversation. But, let me or your mother know if you need anything at all since we are here for you and the children. I'm sure you will see us soon to come check on you." he paused then, while smiling as widely as he could. "I love you, son."
And with that, he patted Reaper's side once again before walking himself in the direction he arrived in, since Angel was most likely sleeping not too far away. His own mind was flustered with his son's worries, but he tried hard to contain himself, knowing that they were not his own problems to deal with. Despite that though, he was worrying as much as a father could, and hoping for peace just as much along the way.

Reaper grinned sheepishly and nodded. Who knew where Gabriel would end up if he was left to wander. His son didn't seem to have the best sense of direction. Then again, perhaps he never really had a destination.
He couldn't bring himself to return the words. Too awkward they were. "I know," was all he could say, though it was more to himself than to his father as he had already turned to leave. Though it could not be seen, the stallion lowered his head to a bow, showing respect to his father. Though he did love his parents, it was an entirely different thing to actually speak the words. It was almost as if his father knew that and chose to leave instead of have that awkward silence between them.
He did have a lot to think about, especially in regards to Dante, Ezriel and Meera. Of course, there was Nimue too but he wasn't sure where she stood. It was better for him to think of them as friends since he was sure that's what she had wanted from the beginning. He really didn't know if there was something between her and Ezriel still, either.
Reaper watched his father for a moment longer before he turned to go after his son. That was yet another situation to think about. What would become of Gabriel?
