Basic Knowledge: What clan is known for not being very well-suited for combat, but is extremely powerful in the area of supporting other ninja through various jutsus that involve transferring their own strength and chakra to their allies? They got attacked at exactly the wrong moments by precisely the wrong characters, so yeah. Still, despite this they showed a surprising amount of skill for their level and even cornered between an eliminator and an enemy team they still managed to hold their own. Grand Total: 129 FAIL

MAKOTO GENKIUsername: Number X Loxagn Village: Stone First Exam Answer Number X Loxagn 4. Combat Theory: You are locked in single combat with a practicioner of the Gokken Ryuu fighting style, who has already made it clear that he is capable of using up to three of the Chakra Gates, though none have been activated just yet. He begins unwrapping bandages from around his arms, a telltale sign that his next move is going to be the Primary Lotus. This clearly means you have have a split second to react before you are killed or grievously injured. In RP format, how would you respond to this situation? Sansai glared at his opponent, recognizing the posture all-too-well from watching Jin and the Twins battle. He rapidly formed handseals, snarling. "Art of the Milk Snake!" His jutsu eecuted flawlessly, replacing himself with a simple Bunshin which exploded with a bright, blinding light. Sansai reappeared behind the other ninja just as he wasshielding his eyes from the blast. In a split-second, Sansai's claws were embedded in the enemy ninja's throat. He pulled, and a massive chunk of flesh came away, along with a piece of trachea and the jugular vein. The ninja fell, spluttering and unable to breathe as blood and venom filled his lungs. Sansai plunged his claws into the ninja's chest, ripping out his heart to be consumed for Chakra and power. Sansai wiped his claws off on the ninja's pants, and went on his way. Lox's Comments: From an objective standpoint I think I did fairly well. I did not want to use Genki for this question as a response like 'Genki's armor and weight prevented the move from causing any damage at all, and Genki proceeded to smash the nonplussed ninja's skull between his fists' would probably not have gotten a very good answer. I'm giving myself an eight out of ten, but the rest of you probably have other opinions. Sairah’s Comment: A bit gory (BONUS POINTS!!), and some spelling mistakes (I don’t count off for that, btw); but overall very good. I especially like the wiping the claws on the other ninja’s pants. They pretty much suffered the worst possible misfortune that could happen in the exam, and yet they came back and retrieved not only their own stolen half of the map, but acquired the other half in the same moment, without getting injured at all. Combat Theory: You are on a mission with two other ninja to deliver important documents to another village when your medic is captured by an enemy ninja and being held hostage. The captor is demanding the documents in return for her safety. In RP format, how would you respond to this situation? (Well, depends on the length of the trip, really. If it's a long trip, odds are he'd pack up and be prepared for a case like this. For this exercise, I'll assume this.) It was a pleasant day. A tad warmer than Mako and the group were used to, but he made himself ignore it for the looking up at the sky. That blue, endless sky that had been his since birth, the pale blue that had been just- "MAKO! COMPANY!" Mako snapped to attention, replacing his passive grin for a disturbed snarl as he listened to the wind for help in where to place his cold steel. Immediately, he threw his bo staff and caught it, propelling him towards a tree which he sensed hostility towards, was promptly stopped by a luckily placed kunai, then replaced his failing attack with a much more effective swipe to the head, knocking the unlucky nin plummeting to the ground. "Mako, he-" "SHUT UP! You know what I want and you know how much I want it. Give me the documents." Mako gritted his teeth and tensed his muscles at the sudden shock. He knew his mission and would rather die then let him have either way. He gave one sigh of breath and showed a scroll with writing on it to the b*****d and rolled it half-way between him and the victim. The nin gave an arrogant smirk, snuck his way up, got the goods, and lept away with incredible speed. "Mako! What did you do! You!-" Mako put on a face of extreme seriousness, went slightly prone like an animal about to strike and held up an official looking scroll. The documents in question. "Then what did you give him?" The medic asked questionably, shortly followed by a large explosion. Mako took off to follow the cacophony of sound, followed by the confused other nin and then the even more so medic. Along the way, he had explained that he had attached explosive tags along the back of a false documents and prepped the charges when showing him that they looked legitimate. "Not bad... What now?" "Now," He looked at the scorched tree with a smile and a badly burned victim, "We patch this poor guy up and bring him back to our home for a little hospitality from the interrogators. Medic, get him just enough to survive the blast and continue on with me, Helper nin, get him back home and explain the situation. We have work to do." Lox's comments: A solid answer and well-executed, though it relies heavily on the assumption that the enemy ninja would not check the documents beforehand. However, it could work quite well under the correct circumstances. Certainly not the BEST answer, but very good. Sairah's Comment: This made for a pretty funny read. It brings in the classic mystery novel cliche of the enemy assuming the protagonist is dumber than he really is. Ignorant's Commentary: International team probably did the best out of all the teams, but the main reason for my score is he pretty much gave up after kuro's death. THIRD EXAM SCORES 1.
