Driadon Happiness isn't material goods though. Don't get me wrong, it's damn stressful to know that you could be swallowed up due to finances, but it does not mean it is happiness. I think a material object can make you happy if it has sentimental value, for example, the engagement ring on my finger, and on my other, the ring Allen got me for xmas (I prefer yule.) Objects that are just there, are obviously just there. But if you had something that was important to you and you lost it, you'd be at least sad if not devastated. If I lost all my pictures of my deseased cat, Smokey (who was EXTREMELY important to me,) I would be utterly devastated and would cry for days. But I agree with you.

All my material possessions are important to me. They have always been there, and always will. They never have betrayed me. Never have left me. They provide me with what little happiness i have.

That sounds wholly depressing. But I'm glad for nonetheless and I do hope you eventually find a happiness other than material possessions (and that they dont make you throw them out!!! lol)

Apparently, I am too. A freind of mine called me a sociopath the other day and I didnt know what it meant, so he had me look it up (if you dont know, look it up. It made me sad and irritated)
The definition pretty much fit me......it was awesome.

Let me take this one rant at a time.
Scociopath? Hardly- from what little I've seen of you and your posts the worst I'd say is Apathetic and that stretches it because you obviously care about at least the music fashion and this guild. Sociopath-- don't be so naive, please- it ruins the whole concept. Sorreh had to get that out. /endrant
XD I find that material items hamper my ability to grow- if I keep everything I love and hold dear in a box, carry it on my shoulders- is it not going to get heavy? Will it not weigh me down? -- screw keepsakes and s**t like that- meaningful because of only a few seconds of worth. I'm with Chuck P and all he's taught me. /endrant2

I think happiness is a modified mini-Uzi on an urban ops back harness with an extra clip of armour piercing rounds in my bag along with a King Crimson (can't find model number or picture for you Dx) in a belly band holster set for a cross draw------- *rambles various other weapons stashed places* /endrant4

I am not sure what i am, i refuse to seek professional help. I dont want to be "fixed" so what is the point?
Material items help me grow....for the more of certain ones i have, the more i can accomplish, and thusly the more i can express myself.
But....wouldnt all those guns, harnesses and other weapons be material items? ?
I do have one other idea on happiness..
Happiness is also crushing one's enemies, seeing them driven before you, and hearing the lamentation of their women

Kay...for some reason that made me think of Twilight. Hate that movie. and the whole thing.
But anywise. Havent read those but I did think about checking out the graphic novels she put out.
No, I'm just manic depressive so you can imagine how that goes.
And me being a sociopath was just a freinds opinion because I'm convinced most men and women are whores and should die. I dont have alot of respect for people, except for those I'm close to. I see anything with big fake boobs, they should die, because in my head, they did it just to be ******** by hundreds of men! n_n

yay! I'm a happy mother ******** class="clear"> Haha. Well that last bit could be argued; I have a friend of mine that at one point was incredibly insecure about herself and wanted fake boobs not for the sex appeal, but more to please herself with her image. Until she met me and some of her other friends that. more or less, drill it into her head that she's wonderful they way she is did she finally get out of that state of mind.
