Bleh, the last two days have been AWFUL! >_<
Yesterday, every one was back (minus one little girl) and they were all cranky. There were moments where I wanted to cry, seriously bawl my eyes out. Everyone was just so cranky and crying that even *I* lost my patience, and I have a LOT of it.
Today, my one co-worker took a personal day so it was just Debbie and me, with all the kids who come on Tuesday's, minus two (we had 13 today). And they were still so cranky, and with one less person, it was difficult. And to make it worse, the co-op seniors didn't come today. Carol rarely shows up, but Dustin was sick and had some extra work at school to do so he didn't come. It was just CRAZY. I deserve every red cent for staying the extra three hours and forty-five minutes.
Aahh, I hope tomorrow is easier!

that totally sucks i am sorry to hear that. i really hope tomorrow is better for you. i will say a little prayer that everyone is happy and that it is a good day for you.
today wasn't a very good day for me either. i had to pick up my brother at the air port and the security guard harased me about picking him up when i saw him coming out the door he made me drive around the block cause i couldn't wait in the pick up spot for my brother that was at the door and walking toward my car. i wanted to punch the man in the face. when my brother came to the car he was like "why the hell did you drive away?" and i was like "cause that a-hole told me i couldn't wait two seconds for you". he turned around to the security guard and was like, "wow, i hope you feel good about yourself!"
then if that wasn't enough. i was heading out tonight to watch a movie with a friend and i caught my ankle in a sink whole on our steps and twisted my ankle and now i can't walk.

Aw and thanks for the prayers, today was a decent day. I'm totally exhausted though. I got to have my normal hours today (Monday and Friday I work from 8am-4:15pm, and Tues-Thurs go from 8-1, but Heather took a personal day and I filled in for her) so I'm home a little earlier and I'm able to relax and chill out, it's sooo nice!
Ugh, Airport security is getting BAAAAAD. I had to deal with it last week while dropping my dad off at the airport and then picking him up again the same day. He's going to Maine but bad storms were in Detroit for his connector flight, so it was cancelled and then I get to deal with it again on Friday because now he had to go to Maine this Friday. Ugh, mess.

the ankle is better...ish... today. i mean i have been off it all day, i called in 'broken' to work and so i had another day off and tomorrow off to recoop. i will go in on friday if it kills me. but i mean i can put some pressure on it and hobble around a little.
OMG i hate air ports! i told my brother i wasn't picking up ever again without a phone call telling me he is waiting outside so i can just pull up and he can jump in. cause if i ever see that security guard again i just might hit him with a door! grrr. i don't blame you for not liking it but being the good daughters that we are we have to do it right?
i am glad today was a easier day for you at work. i am glad you got to rest. you deserve it!

Aw thanks! Tomorrow I have another long day, but Dustin SHOULD be there, so hopefully it won't be too bad. I went to the phone company today and looked at a new phone and I love it. Today was all in all a pretty good day except for someone who is supposed to be my best friend snubbing me. -_- But oh well.
I did find out that I'm not going to get $1200 stimulus check, and only $600, and that really sucked. crying

oh man that does suck. but $600 is better then nothing. and boo to the friend that snubbed you. thats not very nice.
today was a better day for me too. i did everything for myself today and was a little more moble. i even had a shower and i stood no problem for that and i went to choir practice and that was good... but i sat through most of that. i did get to see some people that weren't my family today so i was happy to just get out of the house. heehee.

I wrote a little bit about this in another thread but thought I would expand on it here...I messed up my ankle/leg on Monday night. I was doing my boyfriend's laundry. It was really hot so I ran into the bedroom to throw it on the bed. I forgot I had opened up his bottom dresser drawer and ran right into it. Not only did I bruise and hurt my shin, but I got a strained ankle, a pulled hamstring and other things. I have to limp around and it hurts. Weird that we both hurt our ankles around the same time!

Oh wow, Citrimax, I hope that your knee gets better. Same with your ankle, Angel. I had this terrible bruise on my knees that went away a couple days ago, but I have no idea how I got it.
Today was a decent day, there was 12/15 kids today, so that was nice. And for the most part, everyone was well behaved. And Dustin did come, which was a nice help even if he did go back and fall asleep. LOL. But we played with Avery and Julianne, it was a lot of fun.

Wow Citrimax that is a weird coincidence. i hope you leg is better too.
my ankle is doing better. i went to work today and everyone there was great, even though they did make fun of me because i was limping around, but thats ok. on my way home tonight i stopped by chapters because i had checked the website last night and they had the special edition 5DVD set in stalk of the whole Anne Trilogy. i was so pumped i bought it right then and there! now i have it and i am so very happy. it came, not only with the 5 dvd's for the three movies, but it also had another Sullivan movie called Lantern Hill and one of the Anne of Green gables cartoons. so techincally i got 7 dvds today! i am really pumped!

Awesome!! You'll have to tell us how the DVD is. ^_^ I bet it's really good, I'm so happy that you were able to get it. I'll definitely have to look into that, I'm ready to trade in my Anne VHS's for DVD's.
So far so good today. Last night me and my co-worker did a little bit together, we turned up the radio super loud, went driving and sang various silly country songs. Friends In Low Places, She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy, We're From The Country and other various songs, haha. We went to Blockbuster and they didn't have what we wanted, and then we left, got on the interstate, and then realized that we did want to get a movie/game. So I rented The Game Plan (with The Rock in it) and he got the new Tom Clancy game, and then we hung out until 11pm. It was soo much fun! I ended up falling asleep with all my lights on the the TV stuck on the menu for The Game Plan all night, lol.
I've been to Home Depot today with my mom to buy her mothers day presents, seen my cousin (he works there) and tonight I'm going to Walmart and the Mall to buy a new phone.
I hope someone takes my kids and does Mothers Day things with them for me. I know that sounds selfish of them, but I love their little handmade flower cards and so on.

I was able to get my new phone!!! I went to Cincinnati Bell the outright store and they told me that the phone I wanted wasn't available for prepay. -___- So I went to one of the Cincinnati Bell islands outside the store and was able to get it. SCORE. I'm super excited, I've always wanted a camera phone and just a good phone in the long run, so I got a double score!!
I'm worried about job cuts though. I'm praying that I still have my daycare teaching job next school year. If not, I have no idea what I'm going to do. crying

congratz on the phone. hope it is everything you expected and more and happy mothers day to you!
today was a very good day for me. i went to work, was busy so the time flew by. then i came home, had a nap, and went to church. it was confermation day so the bishop was in the parish preaching and he was very funny and singing in the choir was awesome today. i got to sing two solos which turned out really well and i was very happy. then i went home and my mom decided we were going out for dinner. she payed and everything and it was amazing!

Today has been okay so far. I had an issue with Walmart, but in the end that was all worked out. It's nice because I come out better on the deal, woo hoo! biggrin And then I've been playing with my new phone, it's pretty cool. I went grocery shopping, and to Big Lots, and to Kroger, bought some bread, meatballs, and powerade. Woo hoo. And now I'm chilling out and I'm of course going to watch Survivor biggrin

I've been a little sad today, the weather and the drop in the temperature has made me very sad, and right now I'm thinking about the Mothers Day I should be having. sad I had a big fall last year and had a miscarriage, and then had to have a D&C, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. I'm just thinking how it would be if I hadn't had the fall and it's put me down today.

Okay day at work for the most part. The morning was hectic but the afternoon was nice. I have this really bad rash on my arms that I thought went away, but it's coming back, so that sucks. The last time I was at Walmart they were out of the normal rash cream I usually get so this time I have something new and I'm afraid it's not going to work as well.
Tomorrow is an early day.
