I have a few questions. I suspect you might want to PM me the answer to one though.
How far along are you lot? Have you done the storyline etc?
Is the game just going to be first person shooter?

I know this will be a spoiler but I won't be the getting the game either way no offense. Will Fox and Krystal get back together or are you staying true to what the ending says?
Do you just mod games or do you use free game maker type software and also about the 3D models what kind of software do you use and is it free? Would like links to look too please to the software if possible.

To answer those questions...
1. We are still early in development, the entire story has been completed.
2. It's a 1st person narrative through Krystal's perspective... so essentially yes its a FPS.
3. I won't spoil if Fox and Krystal get back together (though maybe I'll tell in a PM...
4. We are using the source engine to make the game, it comes free with any valve game (e.i. Half-life 2, TF2, Portal etc.). This game is technically a complete game and not a mod. As for making the models we are using 3DX Max and XSI Softimage. 3DX Max is not free, though XSI Softimage is and you can get it here:
