"I like that idea better than being an actual one." She nodded again. "It means that we can do what we want and we don't have to worry about what everyone else thinks." That's what she'd always liked about roaming around. There wasn't anything to tie her someplace and no one else to tell her what to do. Though technically now she was tied in a way to Taya but that was alright. He liked wandering too.
"Must have been fate. It told you to leave so you wouldn't end up caught in anything nasty and it made you wander where i was." Now so long as fate didn't make them wander apart everything would be perfect.

"It also has a bit of a mysterious ring to it, don't you think?" he said with a little smirk, glancing back at the storm as it raged outside the den. "We really can do what we want, which is what I always wanted out of life. I never wanted to be tied down, and in the end, I got what I wanted," he threw a smile back down at her, with a soft laugh, "and more."
"I suppose it was fate, yeah," he said with a nod, shifting so that he could nuzzle his head against her neck comfortably, "I guess it can see much farther into the future than I ever thought it could."

"Lost prince and his princess...." She grinned. "Adds a bit more to the story of you huh?" That was a whole new piece to the puzzle and could make the story even more interesting. It wasn't every day you found the prince of an old deal pride and got to be part of his story.
"Just have to thank fate if we ever see them." She returned the nuzzle with a smile.

"Yes, it does. Maybe my story will turn out to be a really interesting one after all." If he really took a minute to think about it, his story already had all the great makings of a grand adventure tale. Although, even he knew that stories weren't always the same as real life.
"I'll have a lot of things to thank them for," he whispered softly, shutting his eyes as he nipped her ear. She was very good at distracting him from the storm and his fears of it after all.

"It will make a grand tale." She was sure of it. "Just have to make sure not to exaggerate things too much or no one will believe it. It's already a good story on it's own." Her ear flicked against his muzzle as he nipped at it.
"Have to thank them for getting you away, and for taking you to all the stories you've collected, for taking you to me ...." And there might even be more things to thank them for by the time that they found them.

"It will be our tale," he said softly, nodding at her words, listening as she spoke on. He was sure that with her, it would be a grand story, a beautiful story, full of surprises that he couldn't even begin to think of now. He could only smile as he she listed all the things that they would have to thank fate for, his eyes remaining shut throughout it all. If they ever found fate, he wasn't sure he would be able to thank them enough.
