melody grins.
she takes her position and takes her necklace off..
her necklace is a chain with a small draw-string bag hanging from it.
she reaches into her bag and takes out a small bell.
"i'm ready. are YOU?" she says to him.
"you're going to use a BELL for a weapon?" scoffs cain.
she ties the bell around the wooden katana that the instructor had given out.
instantly, the wooden katana turns into a beautiful smooth blade with a red hilt, the bell hanging from it.
melody grips the blade in her right hand and the red hilt crumbles to black.
she smiles at cain.
"let's go.." she charges at him. "don't blink. you might miss it."
she suddenly disappears from sight.

Cain smiles. *he heard melody swing her katana through the air, but cain blocks it with one hand.'Like i said before melody... is that all you can do? Your swings are so quick i can hear the blade slicing the air. *Melody struggled at the strength of Cain, she was shocked to see he was only using one hand when she was using both.* 'Dark dash...' Cain whispers.
*Cain disappears from sight and appears behind her.* 'I believe I've got you.' said Cain. *Cain and Melody continued fighting and Phi just sat there... Awestruck. lots of other people started gathering.*

melody drops down and lands safely onto the ground, trying not to hit the crowd gathering around them.
cain lands right behind her and charges towards her.
she cartwheels right around him and kicks him in the back.
he staggers forward but does not fall.
hurriedly, melody jumps and aims straight for his torso.
"now, who's got who?"

'damn... she's good and i'm stuck...' Though Cain bluntly.
*Cain side-steps and easily dodges melody's lunge.* 'Never thought i had to hit a girl before...' *Cain hits her on both her shoulder blade with great speed with the hilt of both his keyblades. 'hehe.... I just temporarily stunned your arms.' This fight is long from over... melody'.

"not quite."
melody slowly takes a few steps towards cain, her arms hanging by her side.
cain stiffens a bit and grips his blades tighter but calms down as he realizes her arms are completely useless and she can't hit him.
then, she stops in front of him.
she takes her sword in between her teeth.
"my fight's not over until i'm KO'd down on the ground." she giggles.
melody flips her hair. gracefully, her hair moves in the air while her nose points upwards.
the bell on the hilt of the sword jiggles and rings.
but there is no sound.
cain suddenly finds that he can't move at all.
his vision is blurred.
melody disappears from his sight and reappears behind him and spin kicks him in the head.
cain falls to the ground.
she walks up to his disabled body with her sword hanging from her mouth.
she aims it at his chest.
"give up?" she asks.

'hmmm...' Thought cain 'gotcha...' Cain said grinning. *melody seemed very confused at this.* *Cain summons both his keyblades in fonr of him*
'I havent perfected this but I do learn quickly.' Cain said mysteriously. *Melody still seemed confused that both his keyblades were lying on the ground along with him. But then she just watches eyes wide, as the two keyblades float in the air. Who said my mind was frozen? cover your mouth! This fight isn't over yet!' Cain exclaimed with a smirk.
*Cain slowly lifts up the keyblades and starts slashing uncontrollably, but in a few moments he's able to get the hang of it. The keyblades moved so quickly that she couldn't even see it.* 'BANG.' Both of the keyblades hit her blade so hard it made her blade fly right up in the air then falling back down sinking into the ground. The shockwave all over her body sent her sprawling on the ground. 'ha!' Cain laughed.

melody tries to get up but can't move any longer.
she manages to sit up.
her sword is now too far away to reach.
she smiles at cain.
"i give up." she bows her head slightly as a sign of respect. "you win."
melody closes her eyes and collapses.

'Hey melody, you ok? Phi! Help me get her to the hospital!' *Phi nodded and helped Cain carry melody over to the hospital. Cain felt guilty on how hard he swung his blade right at hr.* 'I knew I was gonna feel guilty... but what's done is done.' Cain said with regret. *The doctor came over to Cain and phi and told them that,* 'She'll be just fine, just a small bruise on her wrist, and she just passed out because of the exhaustion... must have taken over her body so it was too much for her to handle.' The doctor said . 'What were you two doing out there anyway?' The doctor asked curiously. 'I asked melody to spar with me so she agreed, she seemed really strong but after the fight I didn't know she would just... collapse like that.' Cain said glumly.
'Right...' The doctor said.

melody wakes up in the hospital bed.
"what the?" she looks at her surroundings.
it had been two days.
she'd been out cold for two whole days.
then she remembers the fight.
she lifts up her arms.
finally, she could move them again.
there is a small purple bruise on her wrist.
and her body seems healthier too.
melody steps out of the bed barefoot just to see cain and phi walk in.

Def:5'umm... hey melody, are you ok?' Cain asked sympathetically. 'Yea I'm sure she's fine!' Said Phi reassuringly. 'Yea I'm just fine guys... really it's ok.' Melody said with calmly. *Cain helps melody out of bed and asks melody if she's ready to come back outside.* 'Yea they said as soon as I'm ready I can just ask them and they'll let me leave, so yea I am ready' Said Melody. 'Ok lets go then.' *Cain, Phi and Melody all left the hospital and went back home*

melody stepped back into her empty home.
there was nobody there, as usual.
she felt really lonely and decided to go out for a walk.
it was just getting dark.
melody hoped that she wouldn't have to run into any fights.
she was definitely not in shape to be fighting again.
carefully, she took off her necklace and took out her bell.
for a while, she stared at it.
suddenly, she bumped into somebody.

Stats Hp:10 Mp:12 Str:5 Def:5 'Oh... hey melody what are you doin' out here so late? Cain asked Melody. 'Same goes for you Cain.' Melody shot back. 'Oh the only time I can increase the power of my darkness energy is if I meditate at night, and the opposite happens for light.' Cain explained. 'I just needed some air that's all. Melody said. 'Well... I'll see you around Melody.' Yea same for you Cain. *They both walked away without another word....*

she walked into the park and sat on the bench.
for a while she closed her eyes..
suddenly, a crow landed next to her.
she stifled screamed.
it had a note on it's leg.
melody reluctantly pulled it off and the bird flew away.

Cain walked back home quitely and wondered what he should do for tomorrow. 'Well... tomorrows saturday, maybe i'll ask one of them to come to me in the town centre.' Cain though. Soon Cain walked back into his house and went to sleep, with a grim expression.

that morning, cain and phi went to melody's house to ask her to go to town with them.
but it seemed that there was no one home.
they knocked and knocked but nobody answered.
