T i f a [ ]I haven't played any of the Metal Gear Solid games. After the first one there is a big WTF factor, and I mean BIG. In the 4th one it's explaining alot of things and reducing alot of the WTFness but some parts make it just seem silly and it still has it's own WTF factor which has yet to be explained.

ONG! METAL GEAR?! WHAT'S THAT?! O:
I hear the game has a lot of repetitive bull s**t.
I'll prolly get around to playing it, as I saw a bundle with 1-3. Kajima makes me laugh with the whole premise of MGS4, though.

MGS4 features very little Metal Gear. There's a bit towards the end where you go to Shadown Moses, the MGS1 place, 'cause the enemy's plan involves taking a bit from Metal Gear Rex. At some point you hijack it and fight another metal gear with it but that's all the involvement the metal gears have. They are in it for about half an hour to an hour. That's not much seeing as I just completed it and it took 20 hours.

I reckon you could do it alot quicker if you didnt leave it on duing breaks and stuff. Andys awesome at Metal Gear he took out Mini Metal Gears at the very start fairly easily. But I dont know how hard that is.

I am indeed. Heh, MGS3 on European Extreme. Oh yeah. . . Anyhoo, MGSs usually take me about 6 hurs to complete when I know everything. Portable Ops is weird; if you take the time to do everything it's the longest MGS of them all but if you want to rush it then it's the shortest (I don't incluse MGA 1&2 'cause I've not played 'em.).

Yeah, the MGSs aren't really that long. Some have replay value with unlockables, e.g. steal camo (Turn invisible and beats up soldiers = lol), but yeah, not very long.
