Luna guaged Hannah's jump and debated if the next attack she had in mind was right. It could potentially shoot down half the forest and get the officials really mad at her (again), but things were more exciting that way and Luna loved exciting things. "Alright then~this seems to be a good aiming distance. Hyper beam Prince!"
"Geo!"
Prince flew upwards right before the cubone's megapunch attack came at him, managing to escape for the most part and only take damage to his right talon. Then, wasting no time, Prince looked down directly at Hannah's head and opened his beak. Energy gathered in the pidgeot's mouth, forming into a large orb of energy within seconds.
The pidgeot knew that he needed speed more than power, so he unleashed the hyperbeam at half power right at the center of Hannah's skull.

Hannah was launched back into the trees like a limp doll, the skull on her head creaking loudly, threatening to break. But it would not. It never would. Possibly, if it was any other than a cubone... that powerful blast would have ended the match.
But not yet. Not for them.
Few leaves scattered to the forest floor, indicating to Choppi where her precious partner had landed in the canopy. The trainer was so fervently worrying about Hannah, that she didn't even realise she was biting her lip until it drew some blood. The little Cubone hopped up once more, ready for the fray.
From a technical standpoint, they were weak against Prince and Luna from the start. So perhaps the only way to play, was by Prince's rules. He'd listened to her in the past, but he was back in Luna's more than capable hands now.
Choppi called out, cupping her hands around her mouth. "Hang in there! Use Ice Beam!"
A move they'd used but once before, to prevent a Rhydon from charging at them (and instead the pogey was slipping and sliding in the opposite direction) this might be the move that would help them.
Small flecks of condensation in the air gathered around Hannah's bone shielded mouth, and as soon as the particles flashed together, they shot towards Prince with powerful speed. The leaves around Hannah froze and fell to the ground in the wake of the attack.

Luna smirked at the incoming ice beam attack. Well, this would definately speed up things in the battle. Even though the ice beam was supereffective against Prince, ice type moves were also supereffective against ground types too. They could benefit from the attack as well. "Prince! Mirror move!"
Prince's eyes glowed the instant Luna shouted her command. The pidgeot concentrated on forming a thin transparent mirror-like barrier between himself and the icy attack. He let out a shrill "GE!" as the barrier materialized just barely around himself.
Unfortunately, some of the ice beam managed to crawl inside the barrier, making the temperature several degrees colder for Prince. Some frost appeared over his chest feathers, irritating the pidgeot even more. But, luckily, the mirror move was able to direct part of the ice beam attack back down at Hannah.

Choppi expected this from Luna, her powerful attacks were relentless. The Ice Beam was coursing back towards Hannah, still feeding from Prince's beak. It was the perfect moment to put her plan into action.
"Thunder Punch!"
Crackling broke through the ice that had just started to make contact with Hannah's body, and lit up the path from her fist into the sky, the whole while using the ice beam as a conductor. The blast crackled in the way a fuse would, on the way to the bomb.
The attack took alot out of her, because she'd had to take the brunt of the attack to use it as a conductor. The burn of ice on her skull made her little cubone eyes water.

((Pocho, I totally forgot to tell you. You've used 6 moves now when you're only limited to 4 o___o;;
I'll allow you to use unlimited moves this battle since it's your first time in the new system, but please keep this in mind xD ))

Also, that did 200 damage since it was supereffective and I had a 50 HP increase in attack power from mirror moving your focus energy. Your HP is 150 now :3 ))
This was it. They had reduced Hannah's HP enough to knock the cubone out with one finishing move. Luna's eyes focused on the battle, once again absorbing all the details. "Prince! End this with another hyper beam!"
Prince charged up another abrupt hyper beam that broke through the ice beam, meeting the electricity face to face and piercing through that as well to make its way towards Hannah again. But, the electricity did manage to trail its way weakly towards the hyper beam, covering Prince in some static and causing the Pidgeot to pause his flying momentarily.
The experienced pidgeot quickly brushed off the electricity though, letting out a loud "GEOOOOOOOOOOOO!" in anger at the attack.

"Hannah! Go for it!" Choppi's command wasn't even needed, being that both were having the time of their lives in this battle. They knew what had to be done.
In one fluid motion, Hannah hopped through the branches, the leaves of the trees slowing the attack by milliseconds that she needed to completely dodge the attack. Forest around her exploded, and through the air that was now clouded from debris, a bonemerang flew towards the sky-high Pidgeot.
Laced with an electric attack.
"Thunder Punch!"
The bone acted as a ground for the attack, but hopefully it wouldn't absorb too much of the element before it hit its mark. It was a price to pay however, for getting in at least some more damage before they were out of this fight.

After the bright light from the hyper beam cleared, Luna could obviously tell the hyper beam had missed. Then Luna eyed the boomerang a bit before Prince spotted it. "Crapcrapcrap, OMINOUS WIND!"
Prince had no time to even respond to Luna, he had to focus on attacking. The pidgeot lifted his wings, now heavy with the damage built up from the battle, and sent a strong gust of purple concentrated air scattering in the air infront of him.
The boomerang was knocked back barely, but the electricity from it managed to crawl it's way to barely touch Prince. A bare touch was enough though as it caused Prince to halt his attack midway and freeze up for a slight second before regaining the movement in his nerves.

Choppi's fist pumped the air. She had been sure the battle was over for them, but now it was time to finish this great clash. Prince was a force to be reckoned with, and they were holding their own.
"Ice Beam!"
The condensation left in the air was gathered to her little cubone jaws, and after taking a few seconds to carefully aim her attack at the flying-type, she shot the superfrozen beam into the sky.

As the ice beam nailed Prince frozen, Luna started to fish out Prince's pokeball to return him. Finally grabbing it between some of Albireo's fish treats, the trainer held it up and returned the large bird with a slightly sad smile. This would definately be a blow to Prince's ego. But the bird pokemon really did need it sometimes. This experience would make them grow stronger. "Good job Prince~You put up a nice fight."
Luna walked through to Choppi's part of the field - much easier done now since Prince practically tore down half the field. "That was a good match~" She said, holding out a hand for Choppi. "Your Cubone made some really nice dodges in the end~It was really impressive!"

Hannah returned to the pokeball Choppi was holding, and after it clicked shut she gave the small orb a kiss on it's top. By the time Luna was standing before her, she was already retying the pokeball to her ponytail.
Choppi took Luna's hand, and after giving it a small shake, threw her arms around the girl. Hugging her tight for a moment, she placed her hands on Luna's shoulders as she pulled back.
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you. Or for Prince." She smiled at her friend, completely beaming. "Thank you so much."
Luna's backing had gotten her though battles before, and the watcher would be forever grateful to the young girl.
"Pokecenter?" She asked, waving a hand to the stadium exit. "They both could use a rest, and I'm thinking we could both use a soda. My treat!"

Luna was certianly startled by the hug, she was usually the one randomly hugging people and not the other way around. But after the end, the trainer just let out a cheerful laugh. "We just pushed you along, the will and drive that mainly brought you here was all your own."
The trainer then wiped some sweat from her forehead as she walked towards the exit. A drink sounded good, as did company to wait for Prince's healing to be complete. Maybe nurse joy wouldn't yell at her for battling so much when she had a companion. "That sounds good~"
