F A M L I Y, F R I E N D S, A N D E N E M I E S C R O S S E T T E : She's like the sister I never had. Despite the fact that she's slap-happy with the fireworks, she's utterly brilliant when it comes to making me spill my innermost thoughts. That, and she's pretty much my role model. She and Patriot seem pretty close. I can't help but wonder if they'll be mates some time soon. Either way, I wish them a long and happy relationship.
G A E L E N T H : Poor dear's terrified of just about everything. Although, considering where he came from and how different it is here, I can't blame him. All I can hope to do is explain things and make him understand that not everything is as terrifying as it seems.
A G E N T A L A S K A : Though she much prefers to be called by her cover name, I really do like her full name much better. Lizzie is... violent, to say the least, but her sense of justice is unparalleled. She and Crossette are rather good friends, though Crossette highly frowns on Lizzie having a gun and using it often.
T E K E L E Z O : He's still just a bowl, but he seems shy around anyone not connected with the family. I hope Gaelenth isn't rubbing off on him, being the one to usually babysit the darling thing.
G U Y C E C I L : Oh, Guy. Where do I start? He's terrible chivalrous, which would most definitely help him in getting a girl, if it weren't for that one, small detail: he's utterly terrified of touching women. One hug from our human sent him off like a rocket, though I don't know why. The human seemed to, though, and looked rather guilty about it...
A R E L L A : Oh, I do enjoy her company. She's so quiet and respectful, although all to smart for her own good. One small miscalculation, one small grammar slip, and she eagerly jumps in to correct you, though I can't imagine why...
L E A F E O N : A good friend from the beginning, Leafeon was always the more sensible one, I think. He was especially good at making shy kits feel comfortable, which I consider a highly desirable trait. I'm glad he and Hoarfrost made something happen, considering Hoarfrost was the first kit that Leaf forced out of it's shell.
H O A R F R O S T : My, was she a shy one! Quiet and withdrawn, even. Luckily, Leafeon was there to coax her into conversation, even if it was mostly about our charms and why they kept doing the most intriguing things. Now, however, she's far more comfortable around just about anyone. She even has kits, the lucky girl! I suppose Leafeon's genes are wonderful, as to the fact that one of their bowls actually gave twins. A rarity, and to my knowledge, the only time it's happened.
F A N O K I N A : Sometimes I wonder if Leafeon and myself were the only outgoing foxes of the lot of us. Nevertheless, Fano and I hit it off wonderfully, despite the fact that our elements are total opposites. And, ignoring the one incident where her charm soaked me with water, we've had no real problems otherwise. It just goes to show that friendship can overcome anything, even the battle of elements.
S H A Y M I N : Though I only talked to her briefly, she's a wonderful fox. She has a very motherly feel to her, and she always knows what to say. When I was glum over the fact that Toro's father thought I wasn't good enough, so showed me that it doesn't matter what he thinks. All that matters is what I think of myself.
T U C K E R : Can you say "Partner in Crime?" He's a funny one, and I'm glad I could help him snag the boy of his dreams, even if it did only happen through a burst of lust on my part. I don't regret it, though.
T O R O : I don't blame Toro for listening to his father. He's... his father, you know? I just wish I had been there to talk to his father. It's not all about looks, you know. Personality has a real say in the matter, and to hear from a possible crush that his father doesn't find you good enough for him... It hurts.
L E U N : She's a funny one, let me tell you. Slightly spazztic, and perhaps a bit ADD, but I like her. I especially love her horns. And she seems to enjoy when I mess with my powers.
F I O N A : I can't put into words how happy I am to have met her. For once in my life, I don't have to worry about burning something by just touching them. I find it irresistible, being able to be in such close proximity to someone and not hurt them. And we both enjoy the same things, which makes the relationship mutual and wonderful. Yet, at the same time... I feel something more, though I can't quite put my finger on it.

T I G E R , T I G E R , B U R N I N G B R I G H T She wasn't used to the idea of noodles sprouting foxes. In her mind, ramen was for eating, and good eating, at that. But having come up a stand where the ramen was, in fact, not to be eaten had confused her initially. She had gone to take a bite when the shop keeper flailed her arms, pulling the bowl back and scolding her specifically about not eating it.
"Then what am I supposed to do with it?" she asked, frustrated and hungry.
"You leave it be and let it cool," Mameha said, placing the bowl back down hesitantly, as if she might lunge and eat it anyway. Ducky leaned back in her chair and sighed, slightly disgruntled. There was no sign on the shop that said 'Don't eat the noodles,' so the chances of her having known were slim. And she hadn't talked to anyone, either, though she found it peculiar that the patrons were all surrounded by small, fox-like creatures. She let her eyes wander, noting how happy everyone was, especially the foxes. But perhaps it was the foxes that she found so odd. They were all so furry, and yet they seemed to live in a noodle shop. There was some sort of cleanliness issue there, she was sure.
Sighing, she turned back to put her elbows on the table and lean her chin against her palms, staring at the bowl. Suddenly, however, she noticed that some sort of sparkling dust was coming out. She tilted her head, confused and intrigued, and leaned closer, catching a whiff of it. It tickled at her nose, and before she could cover her mouth, she sneezed into the bowl. She frowned, suddenly taken over with a severe bought of OCD, and flailed her arms for the shopkeeper.
"Yes?"
"I sneezed in the bowl!" she exclaimed, pointing at it as though it were poisonous. The shopkeeper merely laughed, shaking her head, before pointing where she was pointing. "That was the whole idea. Look."
Turning her head, she saw a small, brown lump, a smaller version of the fox-like creatures that patrolled the shop. Her eyebrows shot up and she leaned in to get a closer look, the small creature doing exactly the same. Mameha pointed down the line to the subsequent bowls, and Ducky's jaw dropped. They all looked the same, save for the small charms that dangled around their wrists. "So, they're all the same?" she asked, looking to the shopkeeper, who smiled. "You'll have to see when she grows up, won't you?"
Ducky blinked. "She?" "Yeah, she."
Ducky jumped, looking back to the fox. "You... You can talk?"
The fox snorted, amused. "Well, duh!" she said, smiling. "I'm Sinopa." She then giggled and quickly hopped off the counter, going over to meet her other bowl-mates.
Mameha laughed again. "They're made in the likeliness of a goddess. If you want, I can tell you the story, but I think you'd first better get to know her and take her home so she can become accustomed to the physical world."
Ducky put a hand to her head, dazed. "Yeah," she said shakily, "I'd better do that."
