"It's considered a warning here, and a nice one at that." Nuksani could have done a lot of things, so she considered a warning very fair treatment, considering how rude Oreo had been. Of course, Nuksani hadn't been the nicest of lionesses in return, but she had her reasons, as did Oreo. "That's where the problem lies. You demanded it from me, so why would I wan to help you if you can't even ask nicely? That is the way to getting things here, being respectul and polite." She was at the end of her wits, and all she wanted to do was go find Sanuye and talk to her about the possibility of her leaving for a little while. Even that would be better conversation than the one she was having right now.

"This is something I'd share with anyone if given the option. Don't take any offense when I don't want to tell you. You'll find out in due time anyways. The lionesses here like to gossip." She gave another one of her rueful laughs. Some part of her expected it to get around to Oreo's ears eventually, but hopefully Nuksani would be long gone by then, and off to fix that very problem. "But, I suppose you're right about one thing. Siblings are siblings, and though we may fight, we're still siblings in the end.

...How is mom doing?" She was curious, of course she was. Baala was her mother, and she hadn't seen her since she was a cub.

Oreo rolled her eyes and sighed. She wasn't going to get an apology out of the other because the other refused to admit she was in the wrong. And it would take all day to convince her she was if she was stubborn. The problem with that meant that no matter how amazing Oreo's logic, the other would remind blind to it. It would be exhausting and pointless.

As to the condition, Oreo didn't really care WHY she wouldn't tell her. All she knew is she wouldn't tell a stranger even if they were family the first time she met them and that was good enough for her. But Oreo wasn't going to run away with her tail between her legs because she had fought with a bull-headed sibling who had something wrong with them that caused their mother to abandon them. She wasn't afraid to find out; she wouldn't run away.

"Mom is... mom. I mean, she's happy with Kuima but she does talk about you guys ...if we ask her to when Kuima isn't around. And she doesn't sound like she abandoned you guys for the heck of it. She loves you guys or she wouldn't tell us about them with such fevor."

Nuksani was silently relieved that they had dropped the subject. It was beginning to tire her, and she could feel her brain pounding within her skull, aching from the anger that Nuksani had felt and was still feeling now (if only a little bit). No, she didn't want to linger on that conversation, because she knew that she shouldn't feel the need to defend herself. She still felt it, but that didn't mean that it was right to feel it. For some reason she wanted to be able to picture herself above it, but right now she couldn't. No, Nuksani could sink to that low of childish bickering and sibling rivalries... or whatever it could be considered that Oreo and herself were doing right now.

Nuksani would have much preferred it if knowledge of her condition didn't get out, but it was bound to. Still, she couldn't help but want to keep it her little secret. She knew that it changed the other lionesses' opinions about her. She knew they looked at her differently from before they knew about her mental illness. It irked her, even made her angry at times. But, whenever she felt a strong emotion, the orbs would appear ever-so stronger to her. If she kept a calm head she could keep them at bay, at least for a little while. They would never truly disappear, and she was beginning to doubt that she'd ever be rid of them.

Nuksani nodded her head as Oreo described how her mom was doing, because she wasn't truly sure how she should respond. "Perhaps she'll come and visit us sometime soon. I think I would like that, to be able to see her once again." She shrugged her shoulders casually, not wanting to sound emotional or longing in front of this sister that she barely knew (and still wasn't entirely sure she wanted to know further of).

Oreo shrugged. "She might. I don't know why she hasn't yet." She was glad herself the conversation relaxed to this point. It felt like she could finally breath again, as though the other conversation had been suffocating her. But now it was almost as though they were having a casual conversation despite its awkward undertone. "You think it'd be alright if I stayed a while?" She still wouldn't accept any fault at starting the fight but she still felt guilty for having one. And in so, she would feel bad if Nuksani didn't want Oreo to stay around her.

"Well, whatever her reasons, I hope she'll still come. It may be a while yet, but I'm willing to wait. She is my mother, and though I can't remember her so well, I love her still." If it was family, you had to love them, even though Nuksani was currently facing some difficulties with loving Oreo. At least she had stopped despising her, and their conversation wasn't so harsh and biting anymore. It was definitely a positive change, though it would be a while yet until Nuksani fully accepted Oreo. She had accepted her as a sister, at least in the since that their mothers were together. But beyond that she hadn't thought much of Oreo. It would take time.

"Sure, you can stay as long as you like. I have no qualms about it." She shrugged her shoulders and stood up. "I'll show you around a little," she continued, and began to walk off to introduce her sister to the Kunanda'Nakhun, her pride and her home.
