"Promise you'll be here when i wake up?" She smiled up at Taya as she shifted a bit so the little ones all had somewhere comfortable to lay. She was a bit tired and could probably use another nap. "Or even better, you could come nap with us."

"I'll always be here," he said softly, a bright shine to his eyes as she shifted to lay down. He was so ridiculously proud of his family, he couldn't begin to show the enormity of the emotions he felt.
At her invitation, a smile spread across his face, and he moved so that he could lay closer to her, nuzzling against her neck. "I think I'll do just that," he murmured, laying his head down. Whether or not he actually could sleep and stop staring at his beautiful cubs was another story, but he thought he might as well try for her sake.
