Not questioning how Shin, too, knew of Chaos' demise, Tougura commented.
"He's not gone...he's just...sleeping."
Chaos was, in Tougura's mind, a force that couldn't be killed. As long as the demon vine network existed underneath gaioh, his soul would keep coming back to wreck havoc. Hence his name, Chaos...a force that cannot be created and cannot be destroyed.
"Enough with trifle matters. I'm sorry but, I should get to finishing the house. Even I have no what's growing in this s**t-heap."

"Well then see you later Tougura." Shin said as he stepped off of his porch and began walking down the road. "He stopped for a moment and spoke. "Have fun cleaning your crusty house, hahahaahahah!."

Anata wa watashi ga zutto mae ni "sayounara" to yutta hito wo omoidasaseru.
A sign was hung on the front door. The house abandoned, all "valuable" contents had been moved to a secure location, it simply read:
"Abandon all hope, ye who enter this unholy place."
While his words were stolen, the meaning was not as Tougura had re-activated the system of explosives in his household. Without proper chakra application, the entire street would turn into a massive, inescapable inferno.
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.

Anata wa watashi ga zutto mae ni "sayounara" to yutta hito wo omoidasaseru.
Tougura had made his way through the quiet Ichijin streets, all along knowing that something horrible was going to happen. His knowledge was confirmed when he saw that the door of his home, along with several pieces of the surrounding wall, were missing.
"One able to enter a trap infested home, without setting off a single trap..."
his pace quickened as he walked into his ransacked home. Immediately, he could tell what was missing. Hell, it was the only thing that Tougura hadn't put away before leaving.
"...my...his research notebook."
Tougura tore apart everything there was left to tear, looking for the notebook was his top priority. Within a few minutes, Tougura had learned two things. The first, being as he couldn't find it, was that whoever broke into his home had known exactly what they were looking for when they stole it. Both Tougura and Frederick had been keeping detailed notes, on every kekkei genkai they had encountered within their lifetimes, in that notebook.
The second thing he had come to learn was who had broken into his home. It could have been impostors though, judging on how the street hadn't burned down, and the white palm burnt onto his door, he doubted it. If this was true, and the white hand had resurfaced, Tougura had, essentially, left them everything they needed to know about the clans of gaioh. Every strength, weakness, and limitation that Tougura and his father had come to learn had been recorded in that notebook.
What, exactly, had happened in the two weeks Tougura had been away?
The scent hit him.
"Gasoline?!"
He saw a black figure move out of the corner of his eye and that was that. The entire Hideki household, in an instant, was covered in flames. Explosives buried in the walls went off, one after another, as the building started tearing itself, and the houses surrounding it, apart from the inside.
You remind me of someone I said goodbye to a long time ago.
