Luckily for her, asking Cobalt questions did distract her from thinking more about her mother. Although, the conversation slid into another direction she almost wished it hadn't. But, as positively as she could, she suddenly exclaimed, "Twenty two siblings? That seems like it would be a crazy family to be around. I have no siblings, so that seems insane!"
Reaching down to her basket, she pulled out a few more chocolates and handed some to Cobalt. Her one-track mind was still astonished by so many siblings. "What's it like having a huge family?" she asked, looking at him directly, eager for his response.

He accepted the chocolate with a smile, it really did taste fantastic. Cobalt started munching on some of them while he answered her.
"Well, we're all really different. I really don't know them very well, to be honest. Don't really have a father, either." He'd never really thought about that, but it was true. Cobalt doubted he or any of his siblings actually had a father.

With a little frown, Tootsie looked him over and noticed no sign of sadness towards his statements. It seemed as if he was more neutral on the whole thing. "So many siblings, yet you don't really know any of them? That's quite strange. Have you ever tried to contact any of them or anything?"
A slight shiver ran down her spine as a cold breeze blew by. Turning around, she realized the sun was starting to set and that soon it would be dark. Unless the moon was bright, she wouldn't be able to see much. Nervously, she ran a paw through her hair and asked Cobalt, "How late do you usually stay out at night?" More than likely, she figured a fae like himself would actually enjoy the night. To quiet the shakiness in her voice, she hurriedly pushed another chocolate into her mouth and went silent.
