Van sat suprised by the sudden tight hug. He just sat limp for a moment before hugging her back nervously.
"It..It's ok really. You don't have to pay me back. Like I said, it's a gift. It would be bad to just leave you sleeping in the trees. If you need anything else I don't mind helping out."
Van twiddled his fingers as he looked down at his lap. Not knowing what to say now.
"So, what do you want to do know? We can continue talking, or go clean up your new room or something, or I can leave if you want me too or something....yeah..."

Eidel couldn't help but laugh. "Has anyone ever told you how cute you are?" She tried to suppress her laughter. "No, I don't want you to leave. So don't worry about that. Unless you actually want to leave." She shrugged. "But well, yeah we should go clean up the room." She smiled and nodded. "Oh! That is if you don't mind helping."

Van looked down and blushed in embarassment as Eidel laughed. He must have looked stupid with that last comment he made.
"N..no not really." Van mumbled, "Well, your human told me I was cute when I ran in to her once..." His head shot up suddenly at her comment on him leaving. "No, I don't want to leave and yes, I don't mind helping you out. I just need to find the key to the bar..."
Van started to dig around his shirt and pant pockets in search of the run away key.

Eidel bit her lip, but continued to smile when she realized Van was blushing. "My human told you that? ..Typical," she scoffed. "Sela is a sucker for good looking guys." She waited while he searched for the key. "Need some help?" she offered as she moved closer again.

"Well, yes she did. It was kind of unexpected." Van laughed lightly as she continued to search for the key. He stopped though. "Good looking? I've never really thought of myself as good looking..."
Van started to search for the key again with fidgety hands. His finger scrapped across the key as he went through his pockets.
"Ouch!, I think I found it.."

Eidel looked up at him with a grin when he questioned her remark on his looks. Did he really not realize how attractive he was? She didn't see how he could not see it. But people often overlook their best qualities; the ones that make them beautiful.
However, Eidel's face soon turned to a worried frown. "The key hurt you?" she said with concern, although her voice might have sounded questioning.

Van nodded as he took his hand out of his pocket with key in hand. He raises his pointer finger to look at the damage. It had a scratch on it. It was not that small, but not too big and it look kind of deep, but nothing to really worry over. After a minute or so of air time the cut started to bleed a bit.
"It hurts, but it isn't bad, or as bad as it feels right now." Van just sat and watched his finger start to bleed. It was starting to get that wierd numbing feeling in it. "Oh well, should we get going?"

Eidel watched as the blood began to trickle out of the cut. She was amazed by the brilliant color. "I didn't know blood was so...beautiful," she laughed and looked away, realizing she must sound insane. "I'm sorry if that sounded weird. But that is the only color I can actually see," she explained, still looking away.
She nodded. "We can go if you're ready. And maybe find something to clean that and a band aid."

Van stared at Eidel with widened eyes. He did admit that comment was insane and did make her seem a bit...crazed. Van held his finger near his chest as he got up off the ground.
"Right, right. Lets get going. The bar isn't too far from here, and I'm sure if we move fast enough we can get there even faster and all," he started to ramble on nervously, even though he didn't know what he was nervous about.
Too engulfed in his rambling, Van didn't pay much attention to where he was starting off to.
"So lets.." Van was cut off as he ran in to a tree.

Eidel watched him, wondering what he was thinking. She knew for sure that her comment had seemed odd. But she couldn't help that she liked the color red. She began reasoning with herself that she was not crazy for liking how blood looked. She wasn't really paying attention when Van stood up and began walking.
"Oh! Uh..Van!" she gasped as she saw him plow into a tree. "Are you alright?" She got up and hurried over to him.

Van laid sprawled out on the ground, groaning. He twtiched a bit at Eidel yelled out. Right now his head took any sort of noise as pain.
"..I'm fine.." Van whispered. "I'm in pain and dizzy, but I'm fine...I think..still in pain..fine.." Van began to trail off as his closed his eyes and tried to subdue the pain in hs head.

Eidel stared down at him, her eyes frantic. She was unsure if he was truly alright. As his eyes closed, she worried that he might be losing consciousness.
She laid down next to him, inspecting his head without touching him. She was afraid of doing any more damage. "Van?" she whispered so softly she wasn't sure if he heard. She laid her head next to his face and whispered again. "Don't pass out, okay?"

Van groaned as he lightly rubbed his forehead.
"Passing out sounds really good right now though." He let out a light whimper of pain. "Why do I have to be so...clumsy? How do you miss a tree. It is so big."
Sighing Van tried to see if he could lift himself up, but his head throbbed as he tried to do so. He groaned again and let himself fall back on to the ground.

Eidel carefully lifted Van's head and set it gently in her lap. "There, there. Don't try to move just yet. We should get you some ice or something for your head." She softly stroked his hair. "You poor dear. Passing out might not be a good idea if you have a concussion. I'm no doctor so I have no idea. But I don't want to be the one responsible for you slipping into a coma."

Van sighed and relaxed a bit as his hair was stroked. "I'll be fine with some rest. It is bound to pass at some point. I'm not all that sure someone could go in to a coma from running in to a tree unless they run in to it pretty hard." He looked up at Eidel with a small small. "If something does happen it is my fault not yours. I should have been paying attention to where I was going."
