Mito blinked, looking over his shoulder at the female. He wasn’t sure what was going on, or why she was acting more strange than what he was starting to get used to. Before it had just seemed like she was forgetful. Now it was like she had some kind of flash back or vision or something and was now reacting to it. What was going on in that mind of hers? Did he need to be more worried than he was? Despite his thoughts, he didn’t tense, too busy watching the female.
“What?” was all he could think to say to that one, watching as she seemed to come back around.
He chuckled again. Was she getting closer or further away from the right name? He couldn’t tell. “Oh, I’m always here,” he decided to reply with, offering her a grin, “and it’s Mito. He sat down, just watching the girl. It seemed as though it would be difficult to really get to know her when she couldn’t remember anything after no more than a minute. Sad, really, since he found her interesting.
He tried not to think about it, just focusing on her.

"Always here?" The lioness asked. "Doesn't that get boring. Like, were you born, right here?" She questioned, slightly confused. "I wasn't!" that was obvious, "...or maybe I was..." she blinked, deep in thought (or as deep in thought a lion with a horrific memory could go). "Hmm.."
When she heard the name Mito, the dark red lioness gasped. "Mito! I haven't seen you in a while!" She said with a giggle. "Long time, eh? Let's go for a walk shall we?" She peered to the sky, before gazing back at the male. It was like she was on a trip and now returned. "Wow you don't look any different then the last time I saw you!" She stated excitedly almost bouncing up and down.
Perhaps her memory came in phases? Always a possibility.

Mito chuckled. “Well, I’m always in this general area,” he replied lightly, “not just HERE, like, in this spot. I don’t do a lot of traveling.” He knew he should, but he wasn’t the type to really enjoy it. There were so many better ways to spend the day. Like watching the sky or taking a long nap. No need to be hasty or rush through life like you’re going to die in a second. There was plenty of time.
He liked to use it being mellow.
Had he the capacity with his lion features, he would have arched an eyebrow. “Sure,” he said with a sigh, “a walk sounds good to me.” He watched her, feeling a little less energetic now, “don’t I? Hm. I guess not. But it hasn’t really been long enough for me to change too much.”

Sehemu nodded. "Traveling is fun though." She stated. "You can see all different lands, and some that are different than this place entirely." The lioness said as she walked. "I'll take you to one, one day. I remember it clearly." She seemed so sure of herself too. Maybe it was a fact she had remembered something from her past without forgetting it.
"It hasn't?" The female blinked. "It's been a few weeks...hasn't it?" She blinked. She /hadn't/ seen the male in a while...had she? Of course she hadn't! She would remember!
"Where's your family?" The lioness was curious, and at least if they were walking, they could be chatting too (while the female still had the capability of holding the same conversation.) In her mind, she kept thinking ot herself 'I am talking with Mito.' Sehemu knew she wasn't a normal lioness. All the other felines of the Savannah gave her strange looks when she was around them. She had decided to try something different, keeping her mind on the lion before him.
Hopefully it would work.

“I suppose so,” remarked the fluffy green male, “I just don’t like it too much. For me it’s not so much about traveling that entertains me. The only thing I enjoy about it is the chance to find a nice new place to take a nap. Some creatures call me lazy, but I think embracing the calm is just a good way to live. A lot of animals are just too impatient to really enjoy what they have.” He smiled at the thought.
A nap was sounding increasingly good.
“You can take me where ever you would like,” he said merrily in response, even though he had his doubts that she actually could take him some place, “and, no, it hasn’t been so long. I’ve been sitting with you this whole time! Perhaps I’m too dull and you forget about me easily.”
As they walked, he looked over at her. The question wasn’t one he was particularly disinclined to answer. “They’re around… somewhere,” he hummed faintly, “I don’t spend much time with them anymore. But we’re still in touch. I was the only cub in my family, so I only have my parents to speak. They’re old, but still kicking. What about your family?” It seemed only fair to ask her the same question.

Sehemu nodded as the fluffy male. Traveling was fun! At least...she thought it was. "You have?" Hmm, there someone goes again, saying they've been here, when obviously Sehemu was sure they hadn't. This guy must have been playing a joke on the female, haha, yeah, that was it. It was a joke! Explains a lot.
"My family...Well umm." Were they those nice couple she had met in the jungle? Or was her family the one that was in the land covered in sand. Shoot. "I think they are..." She stopped walking, thinking hardly about the question. "They're around." She gave a giggle in hesitation, obviously she didn't know where the family of hers was...
The elements eye's opened widely at the sound of the male voice near her. Her eyes looked around and sure enough, this /rogue/ male was near here. She squealed, jumping away from him before getting into a defense posistion. "Why are you following me? I know you rogue males, you only want one thing, well stay away!" She gonked, backing away from the male, turning on her hocks before fleeing the scene, leaving poor Mito in the dust.

Mito looked at the female, just observing her for a moment. Thought she seemed happy, he couldn’t help but feel really bad for her. Not even able to remember what happened to her own family? That seemed like a tragic way to live. Then again, she couldn’t remember that she had forgotten and so to her it probably didn’t seem as bad. Or did it? His head was starting to hurt.
He was just glad he had his memories, even the painful ones. Though it would be lovely to forget certain things, he knew he would probably be a different lion without everything. And he liked who he become.
So it all worked out in the end.
When she freaked out, he frowned, sitting down. Maybe it was time to head off. He just wasn’t able to make a bond with her if she couldn’t remember him. Not even in friendship. Which disheartened him, because she seemed like a great lioness. He watched her run off, biting his tongue.
Large male lions didn’t cry.
