The old generation. Preferably the first. But some Pokemon from the second season aren't that bad. There's over 400 Pokemon now, according to my brother and his friends. I've been a huge fan of Pokemon since before he was born.

I have to say my heart lies in the old generations although the new generations are pretty close.
The reason being that old generations are what i grew up with but they have advanced so much in gaming in general with the things you can do, graphics and so on.

I think all generations have there good points and bad points. The first generation had more originality to the pokemon, while the new generation as some pretty awesome story lines. I personally thought Diamond and Pearl had a great story line, and a lot more interactive fun with the pokemon, but lacked the challenge Red, Blue, and Yellow had. Maybe one of theses days they'll come out with a game with good pokemon, not like 3 evolutions to some old ones. o.O (wth, Tangela grew 3 ft? wow.. big diff.. lols. ), but ya Good pokemon, good story, and a good challenge. That would be a great game. ^^ haha

I personally like the old generation better, but some of the new generation Pokemon are pretty cool. Take for example, Luxray, Lucario, and Buizel.

Soon there's is going to be a new generation of an old generation! U know firered and leafgreen? WEL NOW THEY'RE MAKING 1 4 GOLD AND SILVER! I DID NOT GET THIS FROM YOUTUBE OR A FRIEND!
