Adriel offered her a small smile as she informed him that he as well needed to try a new flavor. New things kinda scared him, but then again he kinda felt bad for the girl at the counter as they approached. Did they scare her that much? He of course wasn't aware of Adhara's meeting with her before.

He gave a chuckle as she demanded they both have rainbow sprinkles he nodded his head in agreement finding it was easier to just let the girl talk than try to say anything. He read the name of the ice cream she had pointed out and felt his face blush a bit more.

"Um...okay. Two...wo please." He asked the girl politely who was at the counter. "With..rai..rainbow sprinkles." he hastily added. He chuckeled a bit as he noticed his tentacles were trying to sneak back over to Adhara. He grabbed them both swiftly as he didn't want to start another problem with trying to get them off of her.

The girl stared at both of them for a moment, her gaze shifting from uncomfortable with Adhi's presence, to just that normal, irritated, teenage expression that almost everyone her age wore. She turned to get the both of them ice cream, and Adhi giggled softly, before she stood on tiptoe, cupping a hand by Adriel's ear to hide her words from the girl at the counter. "She doesn't like me much. When- when I was here earlier, she said I was asking too many questions and got real mad at me," she whispered, stumbling a bit and trying hard to keep her balance. One of her tentacles was taking full advantage of this closeness and she ignored it for the moment as it stroked and slithered itself up Adriel's arm.

"It's the truth, mmhmm. So- so, if she's kinda mean, jus' ignore it, 'cause it's only 'cause I was being ann-noy-in' earlier," she tacked on, nodding and standing back on her feet. "Stop that!" she scolded the touchy-feely tentacle, pulling it off Adriel's arm with a bit of a struggle, her attention drawn away once again when the clerk asked for money, ice cream set in a little ice cream holder that was barely out of the diligence girl's reach. As Adriel had decided to try a new flavor, she'd left it up to him to pay, and instead chose to strain toward her ice cream, so close, yet so far away!

The boy reached to hand one of the icecream's to Adhara as she would have problems it seemed reaching it herself. Handing it to her, he was glad that his tentacles didn't get a chance to retaliate against the tentacle of herse that decided to say hello again.

Reaching into his pocket he then groped around for money and then popped it onto the counter and then took ahold of his own icecream.

He looked at it a moment, he wasn't really one for change, but well there was always time for something new. Taking a rather tentative lick her noticed it wasn't a bad flavor in fact it was rather good. Giving the woman another shy smile he looked back to Adhara. He guessed that a bunch of questions could get annoying after a while.

But he thought she was very cute, and it was hard for him to think her annoying.

"Well there we...uh..go.." He mentioned after a while. , he wondered were her parent was anyway...should he be taking her back to him or her?

Adhara squeaked happily when Adriel got her ice cream, thanking him and tasting it right-off, a contrast to Adriel's hesitancy. She thought on the flavour a moment, before deciding that the sprinkles did make a nice touch, and the ice cream was quite good. She continued consuming the frozen treat, before pausing a moment to pull out one of the little chocolate-covered hearts. She looked at it curiously, before eating it whole, smiling at the odd thought of eating hearts, in a non-morbid, childish manner. Going back to her ice cream, she continued looking at all the other flavours, but made sure not to ask the girl anymore questions. Of course, this made the teenager more on-edge.

"Could you guys leave, please?" she questioned, sounding a bit meek, as though she was going to get yelled at. Adhara both glared and pouted at her angrily, before turning heel and starting away from the ice cream place, trying to make sure that she didn't get too much ice cream on both her hands and her face. Making sure, as well, that Adriel was following her, she let her gaze wander about the food court, wings fluttering a bit in the artificial breeze of the ceiling fans. She grinned suddenly and spun around to face Adriel, grudge-of-the-moment forgotten in place of another idea.

"We should go to the fish store!!"

Adriel balked as suddenly she had turned around. The ..fish store? He looked at her blankly a moment before nodding his head slowly. That...could be interesting..

"Ah..sure...but d..dont you need to tell your..mom or dad where you are going? " He pushed as he didn't want to come off as some strange kid stealing off children. He got into enough trouble as it was, he didn't need to invite more.

He looked down as he felt a chill touch his thumb, it was just the ice cream melting...he ws sure to lick it up quickly before it got even messier.

Adhara blinked at the question, head tilting slowly to the side as the first people she recalled hadn't taken very good care of her, though she had known them as mom and dad. But... that wasn't what Adriel meant... "You mean Noah?" she asked, finally understanding, confused expression gone in a flash as she licked off the more melted parts of the ice cream. She thought a moment, but it wasn't much more than that before she shrugged. "I guess so," she commented, before reaching out to tug Adriel back to the last place she'd seen her guardian.

Noah's eyes snapped open abruptly at his daughter's poking at his arm, and he glanced at the girl as well as the boy she had with her. He hadn't remembered falling asleep, but he didn't blame himself, given how little sleep he'd gotten the night before. However, now he was a little bit confused; was he seeing double? No... that couldn't be right, the boy was a bit different-looking than Adhi was, as well as having purple-tinted skin and no wings. So what exactly was going on here?

"Hey Noah? Umm, this is Adriel," she said, pointing to the boy in a quick introduction, before she pointed to the man and looked back at Adriel. "And this is Noah. But anyways- Can me and Adriel go over to the fish store? Please? I still have some of the money that you gave me, so I can get some stuff for the fish tank or somethin'?"

Noah blinked at how rapidly the little girl spoke, but smiled anyway, and looked up, first, at the boy his child was dragging with her. "Nice to meet you, Adriel," he noted, and then went to address the matter of the fish store. "Well, I guess you could. Just don't get anything that you know you shouldn't, and come right-"

"Thanks Noah!" Adhara said, not wanting or needing to hear the rest of the lecture, lest she waste part of her day listening to someone talk. Geez, she was going to have trouble in school, to say the least. She turned, and dragged Adriel where she remembered seeing the store full of fish. Of course, she wasn't totally sure where it was, but she could always just guess...

"-back," Noah finished, blinking at the sudden disappearance of both children, before he shrugged and yawned, resting his head in his hands. "Kids."

It took a few minutes of aimless wandering and looking at maps without any understanding before Adhara finally led the two lust spawns to the small Aquatic Animals store. Still taking her classically leading role, she dragged the boy through the front part of the store, before she stopped in front of a display of betta fish. "Uww... which one d'you like best, Adriel?"

Adirel aleady felt a bit overhwehlmed with this little girl around, though he guessed that it must be due to her DNA parents. Though he wasn't exactly sure what combination she was he knew that she was lust though was lost on the virtue. But she certianly liked to talk a lot.

Suddenly he was being drawn away from the old that must of been her parent. Now they were at the fish store and being dragged along to look at all the aquatic creatures. When she paused finally to ask him a question he felt like his head was spinning a bit.

"Ah..." He looked around as he was finally able to look at the different fish. He pointed at a glass that held guppies.

"Those are pretty." He murmured.

Adhara couldn't help but chuckle softly at Adriel's choice of fish, though he was quite right; the guppies were very pretty. The glass only had about three of the small fish inside of it, and was therefore probably not going to be too expensive. Standing on tiptoe, Adhara carefully lifted the glass off the shelf, and then walked slowly toward the cashier, though her tentacles were occupying themselves with trying to get her to look and various other kinds of fish. It was lucky that the little girl had at least some form of attention span, or the guppies would probably be on the floor right now, and Adhara would be sobbing over them.

Gently, she set down the glass on the counter, looking behind herself to make sure that Adriel had been following her. "Um, so, if I get these fishes for my friend, what other stuff do I need, and how much is it gon'na be?" she asked. She had a slight grasp of money, but it wasn't that good yet. She did know that she didn't have a lot of money, though, so if it was more than ten, she probably wouldn't be able to afford it. The man at the counter looked between the two weird-looking children skeptically for a moment, before shrugging and going beneath the counter to pull out some gravel, some liquid stuff that was supposed to be put in the water when it was cleaned, and some fish food. He then rung all of the difference things up.

"It will be... Twenty-seven dollars, thirteen cents," he stated, looking down at the children. Adhara's wings drooped, as did her face. She looked up at Adriel, and then toward the entrance to the store. "Hold on one second, I'll be right back!!" she noted quickly, darting out the fish store, only to run right into Noah, who'd been headed to pick her up, anyway.

"Noah!!" she exclaimed, holding out her empty hands. "I need s'm money so that I can get Adriel some'a the fishes that he likes, because he's really nice and he bought me ice cream!!" This was all said so quickly that it took Noah a second to process all of it.

"A-alright," the confused man stammered, taking his daughter's hand and leading her back to the checkout counter, where the little boy was waiting and the fish supplies were in a pile. The fish, themselves, had been put into a bag full of water, while the glass was being poured out, and was replaced with a smaller, easier-to-carry plastic container. Reaching into her hidden pocket, Adhi withdrew her almost-eight dollars and place the money on the counter. "How much do I owe you?"

"Twenty-seven thirteen," the man restated, and Noah blinked hard, looking at the stuff that they'd purchased. That was strangely expensive for just three little fish and the stuff they needed... Shrugging along with it, and deciding that it was alright to spoil his new child, especially if she was buying something for a friend, he pulled out the remainder of the money needed to purchase all the stuff for the fish. The man behind the counter put everything into a bag, and put the fish in a separate grocery bag, handing it all over to Noah, who then handed it carefully to Adriel.

"It's nice to meet you, Adriel, but I'm afraid that we have to get going now." Adhara whined after this statement, pouting at her guardian. "But hopefully we'll be able to see you again, alright?" he added, more to console his daughter than anything. He took the little girl's hand and started leading her out of the store. Adhi's tentacles reached out toward Adriel sadly, and the girl herself waved as she left. "Buhbye, Adriel! Seeya later!!"
