((sorry everyone, i got kicked out of my house and just now got my internet back up and fully running. i hope it's alright if i participate still))
Arizath rummbled as he recieved the cooridnates and gave his neck snapping launch into the air. T'thia was ready for it though, pressing herself flat against the ridges she let her body get pressed even harder against his neck. when the great bronze had gained enoughheight for clearance he disapeared into the black nothingness.
T'thia shivered when they re-entered the skies of pern, but not at the cold of between the sight before her was terrifieing. thread falling at night. Arizath surged forward without a second thought. he had a gut full of firestone and fire in his heart that drove him into the agil fighting paterns they had drilled so many times it was second nature. T'thia held tight as she became Arizath's second set of eyes. the great bronze dove at a clump of the deadley silver substance and seared it clear. T'thia gave him a proud smack on the shoulder as they moved into the ranks of the rest fighting to clear the skies. T'thia didn't have time to process how Thread could fall now, she was too busy keeping Arizath's hide as well as her own thread free.
Do not worry mine, we have done this before
"yes love, but only once. the others were merely practice"
T'thia gasped as Arizath did one of his more tricky maneuvers that sent the riding straps digging into T'thia's waist. she quickly moved with him. leaning into the straps. to any others it would look as if she were going to fall straight off her dragon but the bronze rider knew waht she was doing and trusted the great creature beneath her knew as well.

T'rin and Morkth were not happy. Wings were disinigrating in the night fall and he could barely tell up from down. T'rin reached back in the sack for some more firestone. "Shards! Morkth, tell whoever's ready next we need more firestone!" The blue barrelrolled to avoid a clump of thread.
I wonder where that green is... Morkth remarked idly.
"What!? Morkth! Keep your mind on the threadfall!"

One, two, three counts, and then they were out. the cold, dark nothingness of between qiuckly replaced by the flurry of wings and burst of fire as dragons and firelizards alike fought on in the thread. Faerra looked around seeing wings of dragons, but, with the night, the colours were fairly nonexistent, save for those illuminated by flame. Where was Morkth? Mystith hovered, and then took off in a straight line, leaving Faerra with nothing to do but hold on and hope her dragon knew what she was doing.
don't worry mine, I see him. Blue Morkth! We bring firestone!
The green positioned herself neatly alongside the blue, in a moment when she could see no immediate threat from thread. Faerra grabbed the sack, gripping it firmly, and calling over. "T'rin! Firestone!" When she was satisfied that he was looking, she swung the bag, tossing it over towards the bluerider as she had done so many times before in practices.

Nevaeh held her breath counting the seconds within the darkness. One, Two, Three. The light from the fire of a flaming dragon scared Nevaeh as her and Javareth came out of between just out of the range of a bronze flaming a piece of stray thread. "Woah!" Nevaeh said to herself a little spooked by how close the two of them came to being burnt. "Ok Javareth where are they?"
Javareth showed Nevaeh a mental picture of R'ven and Satosith. Looking around Nevaeh easily spotted the dragon and rider. Javareth who had spotted them as well carefully came up beside them.

T'thia fed Arizath another gut full of fire stone emptying the sacks that hun at her thighs.
"Shards!"
she swore to herself. Arizath swung and spun down flaming a clump that was dropping quickly.
"Riz, call for fire stone"
the bronze deaftly seared another clump before sending out a generic message to the others
Bronze rider T'thia in need of stone
he couldn't form a full sentance, his mind focusing too much of his duty to flame the deadley silver strands.

The bluerider turned and grabbed the bag out of the air with well practiced ease. A quick flip of the cords tieing the sack shut and grabbed some firestone. He fed it to Morkth who dove after a clump of thread without another moment's wait. "Thanks!" The quick yell turned into a yelp as T'rin hung on for life.

((I'm going to answer T'thia's call in this post being as R'den and Naeryn haven't been on. I'll post another NPC rider's call in a few moments.))
Javareth called out to the green Satosith who informed her rider R'ven. "Firestone delivery!" Nevaeh shouted over to R'ven who nodded. Quickly Nevaeh grabbed one of the Firestone sacks off of Javareth's neck untied it and tossed it with practiced ease to R'ven who in turn caught it and expertly tied it to her harness. Giving a few piece's to Satoisith the green was off in seconds ready to begin fighting again. Nevaeh heard a faint 'Thank you' from R'ven and waved once in the sir letting R'ven know she heard.
Javareth was already in tune to another dragon's call. Mine the bronze rider T'thia calls for firestone. Javareth told her as he began searching for the bronze in the fall while doing his best to dodge stray thread.
Well we have one more firestone bag. Let's go to the bronze. Nevaeh told Javareth as he spotted her seconds later. Flying over to the bronze and his rider Javareth announced himself to the bronze as did Nevaeh.
"Bronze rider T'thia! We bring firestone!" Nevaeh said waiting until T'thia looked at her before untying the firestone and tossing it to her.

Naeryn burst out from between a short distance from the fight. A momentary thought flitted through her mind; gratitude that she'd seen Threadfall before. Otherwise, she perhaps wouldn't be able to perform her duty.
Cyhiraeth beat her wings, carrying the two forward into the fray. Who called for firestone?
B'mur and brown Verrith. Naeryn squinted her eyes, focusing hard to see the shades of the dragons zipping around the sky. Her eye fell on one. Bronze? No, brown, that was Verrith! Cyhiraeth sped quickly in that direction - and stopped.
A clump of Thread caught on the wind and was carried into B'mur's face. Eyes wide, Naeryn couldn't help but stare as the young man slumped to the side, half his chest and head gone. As Verrith winked out into between, she let out a strangled sort of cry.
An instant later, she was gone.

The fire seemed almost to leap from thin air, launching from the end of Naeryn's flamethrower before she was fully free from between. She flew head on into the fray, a hoarse cry emanating from deep in her throat.
Mine! Left!
Naeryn swung her torso, spinning to the left in time to see a few strands of thread being blown her way. A press of a button, and they were charred to cinders.

Amlaith and R'dan reappeared from between moments after Naeryn and Cyhiraeth. The boy blinked in surprise to see flame coming from their direction. Wait... golds couldn't flame...
Naeryn has a flamethrower, Mine.
But... does she know how to use it... The boy wondered. His thoughts were cut short as the dragon below him dodged suddenly.
Let us not worry about them right now. The middle of Threadfall is not the place to be thinking. Let's deliver this firestone to Harth. He's the one who asked for it.
R'dan nodded, leaning closer to the green's neck as she darted about through the various dragons towards the brown. "D'lon!" R'dan shouted across the distance, tossing the bag to the rider. He had enough time to grab Amlaith's neck ridge as she swooped underneith to catch the empty bags.
The pair only waited long enough to regain their balance before disappearing between once again.

Arizath expertley dodged a clump of thread letting the fire lizards take care of it. T'thia's fair came in handy right now. the bronze rider untied the empty sacks with a tug of a knott string and looked up. she gave the signal to release the sack
"Drop!"
she called, letting the young rider know she was ready. Arizath braced and waited for the extra weight while T'thia's flits protected the bronze wings from the deadly thread

In spite of her rage and the severity of the situation, Naeryn couldn't help but grin as three fairs of wild flits, plus Melyna, swarmed over her. Cueing Cyhiraeth to drop a little, they fell out the bottom of the cloud of firelizards, almost into a clump of Thread. Cyhi dodged to the right and Naeryn turned sharply, searing the thread with the machinery hoisted over her shoulder.
