He nodded, her plan just as he was thinking. He kept his eyes on the prey, his muscles coiled and ready to spring into action. He decided he would make the first move. If he charged the front the small gazelle would attempt to run in another direction. The pitch of the earth around them, the height of the sun in the sky, the long shadows from near by trees and even the breeze would dictate what direction it chose. Doto did not imagine any of this from experience, but his contemplative, ever planning mind told him this was how it must work.
So he directed himself accordingly, springing forward suddenly in a wide arc, circling in front of the gazelle with a high pitched growl. It reared and turned, as he had wanted, darting in a zig zagging pattern toward Giza. Doto had no hope of catching it by chasing, but he hoped Giza would be able to take it down as it readied to pass. It was a herding game, and he knew his partner was smart enough to catch on to the rules effortlessly.
Doto was ready to take out its back legs when and if Giza got the front, just to keep it from running anywhere else, or kicking them both. It would probably cry, which might draw others to it. It seemed odd for it to be on its own, so he did not doubt there were others nearby. These were the things they would have to deal with when they had actually captured it, though: and that was the tricky part.
"You got it, Giza?" he called, his voice gruff from the exertion of the run. They were nearing the other black cub at a fast rate, the gazelle still leaping back and forth as if to allude the male in its wake.

Giza couldn't help but grin. This was her favorite game. One she had used to beat her own sister, and prove herself to her mother... when someone came towards her, she lept out of nowhere and catch them. Which was exactly what she planned to do with this gazelle.
She moved out of the bushed, her small body barroling into the bigger one, as she latched herself around the bigger animals's legs and bit down as hard as her small teeth did, her claws holding on for dear life.
And what a thrill that was. She could feel it bucking, trying to get away, panic filling it once it knew it had been led right into a trap. The poor stupid thing. It had done exactly what they wanted it to...
Still, it almost made giza happier to know that her companion had known exactly what to do, without being trained to do it like she had. That was excellent... that was oh so very excellent. Perhaps it could be real.
Perhaps their collective dream could be realized now... They had done something amazing. They had proved that they could accomplish things together that they wouldn't have been able to alone.
"Oh... I've got it." She thought to herself as she continued to hold on, knowing her new 'friend' would certainly be able to catch up and latch on as well, now that she had one leg.
It would be extremely difficult for her prey to run while it had a lion cub attached to it's leg.

Doto chased the gazelle with only enough energy to keep close behind. He was not trying to over take it, or even guide it now. It was on the right track, and he had little more to do than to make sure he stayed within strike range. It was Giza's turned, and she handled it deftly.
Grinning, he watched as the black cub appeared from the grasses, as easily lost in them as any well camouflaged creature, despite her dark coloration. If Doto had not known where to look for her, even he would have been surprised by her sudden attack. But that was not the case, and he watched her keenly as she moved.
Impressed as she latched on to the gazelle's leg. He was there in an instant, sinking his teeth and claws into on of the poor creature's hind legs. It fell hard, kicking uselessly and crying out for a herd that was no where to be seen. It made a beautiful sound in its sheer terror, and Doto was almost distracted completely as he closed his eyes for a moment to absorb the sound into his memory, to recall when he could add it to a grand symphony of similar music.
Of course, now he was at a bit of a loss. They had it trapped, certainly, but they could not hope to do anything to it out in the open. Once he was certain it would not be using the leg he was currently biting in to, he released the torn flesh and looked toward his companion.
"We better take it somewhere," he said, licking the blood from his chops, "so no one spoils this, or tries to steal it."

Giza grinned, ripping at it's front leg so it wouldn't be able to run away, and then she sighed, "We can't keep it too far away... after all, it's family needs to find it, or it really will die." Which seemed to sadden her... not for the creature, of course not. No, Giza wouldn't want her art project unrecodnized... no matter how long it would last. For certainly no prey beast would be able to. Not with what she planned to do with it.
"Come on... we can go into the grass. Where it's family will hear it sooner or later... if not, we'll find them and guide them back this way." She grinned, "Skittish creatures... they'll run right to it if we give them the right incentive."
She hid her excitement well. They had done it. They had actually DONE IT. Caught something huge! It seemed that working together suited them quite well... She supposed her new friend was quite smart after all. He did have the same drive she did.
He could go far... they could both go so far...

Doto shook his head at her concern, "Don't worry about that. We'll make sure it gets found. " He was certain of that. They were not about to have gone through all this trouble just to have it die in a bush, "if we drag it somewhere, we'll be able to drag it back. I think there are leaves or branches big enough around here to help with that, once you're done playing with it."
"I don't think we'll want to scare them to it. That will detract from their surprise. If they come upon it while they're not expecting it, or while they're frantically searching for it, their reactions will be much better. If they're worried about getting eaten they might just view it as a sad victim, and they won't appreciate any of the effort we put into it."
Shrugging his shoulders, he moved around the fallen, terrified animal to get closer to his new partner in crime. Watching her with his blood red eyes, the strange orbs glowing with malice, like acid under glass, he shrugged his square shoulders. The skull on his arm seemed to grin wickedly with the movement.
"But it's up to you. If you think you can do whatever it is your art calls for out here in the open, then go for it. I'll watch. You, and the area. I can learn a lot just from watching you play, I think, so do whatever you want to it." He grinned.
"Make it good."

Giza grinned a little, glad for once someone could be so understanding of the delicate nature of her... art. Her special... oh so very, very special art... One couldn't rush these things. One couldn't push them. One couldn't be frustrated... and she liked his ideas. He got it. And he would keep watch...
"Keep a weather eye out... I need to concentrate, or I'll lose my focus and might kill it by mistake," She grinned, looking down at the terrified animal. Her yellow eyes seemed to flash with excitement as ideas flew past them... yes... so many ideas filled her head.
How far could she go with something this big? How could she destroy it, completely and utterly? How could she show it was real evil was? This was so far beyond simple curiosity for Giza... she didn't torture for a living. Rather, she lived only because she tortured. It was what she loved... far more than she had once believed anyone would understand. But perhaps she was wrong.
"You never told me your name," She mentioned, opening her paw, snapping out her claws as she rolled her shoulders, looking directly into the eyes of her terrified prey, "I'd like to know my partner in crime's name, at least."

"I'll be as silent as the dead," Doto said with a grin when she asked him to keep a weather eye out, "and I'll make sure nothing comes close enough to make a sound." He was not certain how capable he was of keeping such a promise, but he knew he would do his damn best. And that was usually good enough.
They had nothing to worry about.
His ears perked forward when she asked him a question, and he remembered he had been meaning to introduce himself after their little hunt had ended. He had forgotten, and felt a bit silly for it. Nodding, he watched her as she stared so passionately at her new, living toy.
"Bi'ndoto," he said with a growl, not much for his full name. It meant In Dreams, according to his family, but he did not know why it was given to him, of all his siblings. "Doto for short."
Nodding dismissively, he excused himself almost politely from the immediate area, setting up watch a few feet away. He positioned himself carefully, so he could keep a good eye on the horizon while at the same time watch her work. He was interested in her process, still quite skeptical in the need for practice, and more so he was interested in watching the reaction of her victim.
It was going to be fun, for both of them. Not so much the gazelle, but sacrifices had to be made. He grinned viciously at the thought.

Giza grinned, "Doto... nice." She laughed, then she turned to the gazelle, "Looks like it's just you and me now lover." Then she reached down with her claws, and she let it scream.
The noise was half the fun.
((I think we're about done on this one, unless you have something to add, besides me inventing random torture lol, but I'm thinking these two will have to meet up again at some point lol))

(Er. Okay. That's fine. I don't suppose I have anything more to add, if you're done.
Yeah, they'll have to cross paths again. XD)
