Before she knew it, she was laying down with the basket, and she looked up at him. It was sweet how he cared. "No not really... Its mostly something like an unsettled stomach I guess..." She wasn't sure how to describe it. She hadn't felt like this before. But she felt like she had less energy then usually. "No, don't bother Luna, she'll be back soon enough.." She smiled at him a bit, and laid her head on the top of the top of the basket. "I'm sure it'll go away soon."

Liberty took a deep breath trying to calm his nerves as he nuzzled her mane tenderly. " Long as you are ok love." It pained him not to do something while his mate was ill, but what could he do? He dropped his head to nuzzle the basket "now you be good and don't give your mother any troubles you hear me squirt?"

Forte laughed a little at him. Mother... It had a nice right to it. She was ready for this, right? maternal instinct. She was just glad that Liberty was ready to be there with her. It meant a lot to her that he was ready for a family. As it was they would have a fairly unconventional one, but that was okay with her. She didn't mind it. She wanted more adventure in her life. She loved the challenge. But man was she feeling tired... She remembered looking up at Liberty and feeling a little drowsy, and then...
One week later~
Forte woke with a little bit of a start. Luna had touched her head and crouched done. She looked a little worried. Forte didn't understand. She felt a bit better, but still just wiped out, somehow she had gained weight. Luna guided her into a standing postion, and felt around her belly. After a few minutes out of sight, there was a squeal from the human, and she hugged onto Forte's neck.
"You're going to be a mommy!" She squealed again. She beamed with pride over this fact. She give Forte a kiss, and then got some things together. To better care for her now expecting mare...
"It was Liberty wasn't it? Such gorgeous children..." She talked mostly to herself, Forte just stood a little dazed, she thought of the idea but... She watched Luna wonder off for the day.
"I'm... pregnant?" Forte looked around a few times. Sudden thoughts flooded her. She knew that the basket she had was different... but, she knew one of the children would have to go with her father, but if there was another ... Then.. Luna might barter it to another, for good that they would need. Would she be able to see it...
She shook her head of the worried thoughts. "Liberty." It had been a whole week since she had seen him. She was feeling so ill, Luna kept him away in case it was contagious. She ahd to go and see him. God.. she felt heavy and fat. She moved slowly, walking through the brush to get to Liberty's teepee.

It had been a long stressful week for the young stallion. He was just sure there was something wrong with his young love. She hadn't felt well in so long and it was beginning to tell on the young stallion's temper. He had began to get moody and aggressive towards strangers.
Liberty snorted , his tail lashing as he stalked about his home. How could they expect him to be calm when his mate was ill. That was nothing to say they were keeping him way from 'his' new child.

Forte had wiggled herself through and she looked round some, before she padded her way in slowly... She was a little scared that Liberty might see how large she'd gotten and turn her way... "Liberty?" She looked around, and then spotted her paces Stallion. She took in a breath.. She want panting a ltitle from the effort of the walk..

Liberty spun around at the sound of his beloved's voice and raced to her side. "Forte! Gods love I have been so worried! Are you alright? They wouldn't let me see you. I have been so worried...baby breath, please are you ok? Is the basket ok?!"
His pink eyes were wide and rimmed with white as he worried and fuss, nuzzling every inch of her he could reach as if trying to reassure himself she was really there.

She was a little surprised by his sudden love. She giggled as he nuzzled her, and she cleared her throat. "I'm fine dear, and so is the basket. Any day now, the foal should come... " She smiled at him. She was sure after that moment that would make a wonderful father. "Liberty sweetie... I need to tell you something." Her blue eyes looked over at him. "I'm... Pregnant."

"I know and......." His eyes went as his mouth dropped open. "WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!?!? ARE YOU SURE? OH MY GOD I"M GONNA BE A DAD!!!" He couldn't stop grinning as he nuzzled her over again frantic " are you sure you should be up? You should rest, you look tired. Have you eaten? Are you eating enough?" His pink eyes were wide again but this time with joy. " Oh god we are going to be parents!!!" Yes there was no doubt this was very welcome new to the excited young stallion.

Forte blinked and giggled a him. With the parade of questions she just smiled. Luna was taking care of her, and she was eating well. She nuzzled him and nodded more. "Dear calm down, I'm doing just fine~" She giggled a little more "We're finally starting our own family." Their perfect life was just getting even more perfect.

Liberty chuckled weakly as he kissed her cheek. "I just...wow. A baby? Really?" He couldn't help but beam as he nibbled and nuzzled her cheek. They where gonna have a family! His gaze suddenly turned worried as he looked down at her.
"Forte..would...would you consider coming to live at the tepee with me and my family? I just.. I don't want you to be alone and my family loves you. You would be safe and..well I think I could make you happy there. I want to try.."

Forte blinked at him and she thought a little. "Well... I don't know, what about Luna, and the basket?" She blinked at him. "I don't want to leave Luna alone..." She wouldn't mind staying there so she could have help but.. She didn't want to live there permanently. She really enjoyed the quietness of Luna's teepee. She shuffled her hooves around some.. "Would it be permanent?"

"You would bring the basket with you of course I.." When she asked if it was permanent he felt as if his heart would break. She..she didn't want to live with him?
"Well..no..just well just until the foals arrive. I just don't want you traveling back and forth so much. I mean it's not far but anything could happen to you." He tried not to let any hurt show in his eyes.

She nodded at him and sighed, looking around at the other horses. "It's just tough going from being just me and you.. with Luna around to ...a huge family like this. It's not that I don't want too. " She smiled at him and nuzzled. "I wanted to start our own, I guess... Do you understand?" She flicked her tail looking at him, he seemed kind of hurt, and she hoped she had explained herself well enough...

Forte smiled and nodded athim "Alright alright, I can agree to that." She giggled some and looked around again. Instant family. This would take a little getting used too but ah well, she was happy to be around Liberty alot more now.
