He pressed himself closer to her in what he hoped was a comforting action and was about to tell her more things to make her feel better when he smelled the same wolf from before and it was heading straight for them! He growled loudly and stepped between the wolf and Forte. He raised his fur to make himself look bigger and more threatening, also imitating the other's movements of head and tail raising. "Who are you and why have you followed us?" he snarled at the dark male.

Forte blinked, and she looked around. It had all happened so fast. She looked over at Thanatos. He followed her. She wasn't sure if she was hurt, or what... Did he not trust her? Though, she had threaten to be with Jaden, to get a rise out of him. She sighed a bit, before she heard Jaden growling. "n-no, Jaden..." She padded around him and looked to him and then Thanatos. "Jaden, this is my Thanatos." She smiled weakly... She wasn't sure if this was going to go very well... If they fought, she wasn't sure what would happen or what she'd do... specially if either of them ended up hurt.

"Thanatos?" he asked, looking at her and back to the male, Thanatos, quickly. He fur lowered a bit, he didn't want to hurt someone she loved but his alpha nature was raging at him to fight, telling him that the male in front of him was what kept Forte away. He also noticed how she had said '...my Thanatos.' and this fueld his anger with jealousy. His eyes narrowed into a glare, "That still doesn't explain why you followed her." he said.

 The fur along his spine stood up as he flattened his ears. It was as if yin and yang clashed silently. White with it's graceful markings and black with its warning colors. A physical difference between the males was very much noticable as they stood off face to face.
So...this is the man, Jaden, that Forte has been spending time with. Even though Forte wanted him he knew one wrong move and Jaden may attempt to take her. Even he saw it. "I don't need a reason. It is my duty to protect and keep safe those I love from all threats. And your getting to close," Thanatos growled out. He wasn't named after the god of death for no reason. The oracle from his pack of his early puphood had predicted what kind of adult he would make. Thus his name. But whether he would become that adult was up to him. "She is not yours and never will be. So remove yourself from between us."

Forte lowered her head. This was becoming something she wanted no part of. She wasn't violent... She wasn't really aggressive. If they fought... "J-jaden, its okay." She spoke lightly to him, as she started to move away to stand over with Thanatos. She looked at Thanatos, she wasn't surprised by his actions, but she didn't want to loose her friendship with Jaden either. But somehow she felt that being brought up soon. She moved passed Jaden, focusing on Thanatos. "Calm down Thanatos.."

Jaden's back rippled in response to Thanatos. He managed to supress a growl but his lips still raised, folding back over his teeth in warning. The truth of Thanatos's last words stung and he took a step forward. He prepared to charge, lowering his head to protect his throat as his claws dug into the earth. There was a flash of movement and Jaden turned his head slightly to see it was Forte talking to him. His ears flattened as he watched her walk away, to Thanatos's side. He couldn't attack, she was too close. He backed away reluctantly. "You're sure it's really him you want, right?" he asked her, not bothering to hide his sadness this time. But he already knew what she would say, and a soft whimper escaped his lips.

Thanatos still kept his teeth bared and was well braced for attack. The fur along his back and flattened though. Forte was his and he was going to make sure he didn't loose her. Especially to a younger male. He didn't want to let his guard down around another alpha male so he took his rage down just a bit in acknowledgment to Forte.

Forte looked back at Jaden. A sad look too, she had never meant for him to have feeling other then friendship for her. She was jsut looking for a good and close friend. She should have been smarter then to think that getting a close friend might not stir up some kind of feelings. It was like something snapped in her, whatever happiness she had felt was sucked out of her. She wasn't feeling happy anymore, over the recent admission of Thanatos, or anything. She felt sorry, not that, sorry even covered the way she felt right then hearing Jaden's whimper. She was so thoughtless in her actions and look at where they stood. She was in the mist of loosing her best friend, and having possibly hurt Thanatos. Her ears flattened as she gave a light nod to Jaden's question of this being what she wanted. It wasn't true at all. She wanted to be able to love Thanatos, and keep her best friend. But Thanatos wouldn't let her even See him again... At this point she was sure of it. She slunk over by Thanatos's side, a phased numb look would enter her eyes as she did. She wanted to tell Thanatos that she just wanted to go home, but... Her home had been with Jaden, Forte never resided with Thanatos... Her 'home' was back up North on that concrete stone ground. She whimpered softly...

((So... if this is close to the end, we can all have another RP where Jaden+Forte make up and they're friends again and Thanatos tolerates Jaden's visits/Jaden and Forte just decide to meet each other in secret/they just can't see each other at all and such or... we can just do that in this RP. Yea.))
His ears flattened when he saw Forte. He should have hidden up his feelings, made a joke about it or something. He didn't want to make her sad. His tail drooped, all thoughts of fighting gone when he saw her. His chest constricted in pain when he heard her whimper, and he took a step forward, wanting to comfort her, but wasn't sure what would happen. He didn't want to make her even more miserable by fighting....

A growl ripped through Thanatos as he saw Jaden move a step forward and towards Forte. He had finally admitted to what he felt only for all this to happen. Worse still he was completely oblivious to Forte's current feelings about this situation. "Don't come near my bonded again," Thanatos growled at Jaden. "Let's go Forte...." he muttered.

( yuh Snowand I talked.
we'll have to have some one on one ish with Forte and Thanatos, for time laspe I would think and then Forte and Jaden can start to sneak around, an Haru will be the one to notice.)
Forte took one last look at Jaden. This might really be the last time she saw him. The one that supported her, and spent time with her. She hadn't known anyone but Jaden Thanatos and Haru really. She pawed at him a little with a pathetic good bye. She felt a rage of sadness engulf her insides. Her eyes would start to tear up as she turned to leave with Thanatos. "I'll miss you..." She whimpered out to Jaden, turning finally to walk away with him.

Jaden froze as the sound of Thanatos's growl. He growled back, suddenly angry. This Thanatos talked as if he owner her. Only knowing the fact that she hated fighting kept him in check. He looked at Forte but she still had that fazed look about her and... she was saying good-bye. It sounded so final and he whimpered again when she walked away. When they were nearly gone form his sight, he turned and ran. He ran until his anger faded into sadness and he tripped. He panted and heaved himself onto his paws, running again as tears slid down his cheeks. He stopped on a cliff, exhausted. When he managed to catch his breath, he was startled. It was the same cliff he and Forte had watch the sunset on. Suddenly, it was too much. The sadness was everywhere, and it was crushing him. He raised his head and his loneliness came out in a long and mournful howl as the sun disapeared behind the mountains and darkness blanketed the earth.
