( XD I'm not sure if theres oceans around there, but Ocean fishing would be impossible XD)
Lunar took him to the river that was nearby. It seemed deep enough to have fish. "Alright... So what you do is, get in the water, and just stand. Don't move. So that hte fish thing you're part of the scenery and then when one is right in front of you, make sure your shadow doesn't spook them and then try and grab it." She knew it would take some time, and silence to do this... and that was exactly what she wanted. Silence. the more he talked the more it hurt. He was sure that he cared for her, but she wasn't around all that much so ... finding another female would happen. But it meant she needed to be around around more to win back his affection...

((Didn't he and Forte go near an ocean though? And I see lots of old men fishing in oceans but they have fishing rods so... yea I see what you mean XD))
He followed her to the nearby river and nodded at her instructions. Doing as she said, he stood still, breathing slowly. He lunged at any fish he saw but the water slowed down his paws and made it hard to move quicker. When he tried using his muzzle, the fish escaped during the time it took for him to reach the water and he came back out sneezing the water out of his nose. After multiple failed attempts, he turned to Lunar and asked, "How do you catch them when the water slows you down?" It looked like she was busy thinking but he assumed it was because she was concentrating on the fish.

( XD salt water fishing IS possible, but for a wolf no. And you're right XD they did go to a cliff. )
Lunar blinked up hearing his voice and she shook her head. "Just stand there. You need to let them get used to you being there, otherwise they're ready to flee. Keep you're head low to the water too." She sat on the edge of the water. She had lost her ambitions to really do anything today. So she just instructed him.

His ears flattened against his head. It looked like his plan for distraction wasn't working. He did as she said, keeping close to the water, and looked around, hoping to spot something that would make her feel better. Maybe she was hungry for fish and wanted him to get one for her? He lunged for the next fish he saw, but the distance between his muzzle and the water startled him. He was so busy looking for something to make Lunar feel better he forgot how close he was. The fish rushed into his open jaws along with what seemed like the whole ocean. He came back up, gagging, as the fish fell out and swam swiftly away. Ok, this wasn't working.

Lunar watched him, she had laid down and just kept quiet. She was surpirsed how much this had upset her. She really hadn't thought she started to fall for him the few times they ran into eachother... She looked at him when went in and she shook her head at his failure. She got up and moved into the water carefully. She stood there, looking down at her reflection... She suddenly felt ugly. She focused o looking through the water and waited for the fish to get used to her. She slowly lowered her head down... After a bit, a fish settled in front of her, She opened her jaws and lowered her nose into the water before she moved in quickly, and caught the tail of the fish and she lifted out from the water.

His tail sweeped over the water, causing small waves when he saw Lunar coming into the river. He was startled that she managed to get one in her first try, and he thought she looked beautiful with the sun reflecting on her pelt and the water falling off of her like rain, causing small rainbows when they hit the sun at the right angle. The squirming fish in her mouth, not so much. He blushed when he realized what he was thinking and shook his head to clear his thoughts. "How did you do that?" he asked, impressed.

She lowered the fish back into the water, and let it go. She wasn't in the mood for eating... "Well its about stealth and grace." She said. "You need to get in as close as you can, and just let them settle... the more ruckus you make the harder it is." She shook a little, the water rippled away from her. She glanced over at him, hoping he'd figure it out. There were only so many ways she could say the same thing.

"Hmm," he said thoughtfully. He'd have to agree that she did look graceful when she fished. His ears flicked, unnerved by her glance. She was still depressed he realized sadly. He leaped out of the river, shaking the water off his paws and bounded to a nearby field he had scented earlier. He returned soon after with flowers in his mouth. They had a soft and relaxing smell about them and he offered them to her.

Lunar had gotten out of the water, and was shaking off. "He left..." She mumbled some. "Maybe its not a bad thing..." She sighed some. This rally shouldn't have been such a bi-.... She blinked at him when he returned with the flowers. She blinked at him and shifted her weight. "Flowers...?" She tilted her head taking them... could have mean he was still interested in her after all...?

He was glad she hadn't left while he was gone. He'd forgotten to tell her in his hurry but his tail wagged proudly when she took the flowers. "For you," he said, as if it wasn't obvious enough. "I hope you like them." he said, looking down and shuffling his paws nervously. What if she didn't? "It's not too late and I would still like to go watch a sunset... with you." he said softly. He raised his head to look at her and was surprised when his nose touched hers.

She felt a wave of warmness take over her. He had brought her flower. No one had ever done that before... She nodded at him lightly, placing them down. "Yes.. they're very lovely." She smiled some. This was getting harder and harder to keep herself together. When his nose touched hers' whatever wall she created crashed down. It would be hard letting him go to another female... She softly leaned in to give him a nuzzle.. "Alright.. lets go watch that sunset." She leaned down to get the flowers to take with her.

He was glad when she nuzzled him and he nuzzled her back, glad that she didn't seem as sad as before. "Any particular place you'd like to watch it from?" he asked. He had thought it over during his time in the river and had decided that even if he had watched one with Forte, it wouldn't make the one he watched with Lunar any less special. He smiled when she reached down to take the flowers he had given her and he was confused because he felt... happy? He had always given gifts to his friends before but it never gave him a feeling like this. His thoughts were cut off as a flower fell and he picked it up for her.

She blinked as the flower fell, when he returned it to her, she took it gratefully. "How about, on the mountain?" She asked. It shouldn't have been to far from here, and they could probably get there just in time too. It's look pretty sinking behind the other mountains and trees she thought. She looked over at him for his idea.

"Alright," he said. "I've never seen it from the mountains before." he pressed his ears forward in eagerness and looked at her. He didn't really know the way to the mountain seeing as he'd never went there before so he waited for Lunar to lead the way and wondered what it would be like.

With his confirmation on the idea, she nodded and started off into the forest toward the mountain. It wasn't all that far away. She brought him down along different paths, and over some smaller rivers. Until they reached the base of it. It wasn't all that tall considering some of the others she'd seen. "We'll go up there." She glanced over at him, and she took him up the path way.
