Warren shook his head slightly at the bits of conversation he managed to catch. He couldn't make heads or tails of some of the Helixes speech patterns and they were starting to give him a headache. Did all other territories make so little sense?
However, the one female...the colorful one, she seemed to make more sense. Maybe she was from the South too? Only one who seemed to make any sense to be honest.
Either way, from what he heard, even if he didn't understand, at least the females didn't seem overly hostile. He'd take a chance...and if he needed to, he knew how to get out of here quickly.
A large paw emerged first from the grasses, followed soon by the rest of the orange male Helix as he finally let himself be viewed.
He offered the trio a slight nod of greeting, before drawling smoothly, "Greetings, ladies..."

Aura jumped a bit when the wolf told her she did not speak right. She then backed up into a tree when the male came out. " I knew i saw someone..." She said lightly. She didn't always talk bad only when she was calm. When she gets nervous she talks nervously. Aura got in a kind of defensive pose but mostly in a way hiding from the male. He was so big though so was she.

"And so the mysterious stranger shows himself." The slight smile was poised toward the obviously large male. "Hello yourself." She glanced at the other two for but a moment. She couldn't understand it one talks to herself and one talks weirdly and yet they both looked as normal as any other Helix.

Autumn was skeptical. " And I still didn't notice him... Maybe I should get some training..." She said sighing. She was a great hunter and great at camofloge but when sensing others she was not well.

Warren chuckled slightly, nodding to the colorful female with a wink. "Indeed. Forgive my err...'deceptive actions', ladies, but I had to determine whether your intentions as well were pure. It's not safe to travel unfamiliar lands alone and all that, I'm sure you know."
With the canine equivalent of a purr, the male's stride was smooth and confident as he neared, taking a seat at a distance that wouldn't cause any of the femmes to feel alarmed.

The young female rested her head on her paws again. She blinked her coat was warm since it was so dark. " No attack?" She asked lightly. She was very shocked by the large male. She blinked her light green eyes just staring at him. He was talking with charm and Aura still didn't buy it.

Realizing the black female had a point she went lightly on edge but the male had a way with words. "I don't know about these two but I believe you're forgiven."
Striding to lay between the male and childish wolf she laid her head on her paws making sure the lone wolf was constantly in her sight. "But to truely forgive you I must have your name."

"Of course, forgive my manners." Smiling, the Helix lowered himself on his forelegs, in the canine equivalent of a bow. "The name is Warren, of the South. It's a pleasure to meet such beautiful ladies out here in the middle of nowhere. I had not expected as such today."
Chuckling softly, he turned towards the dark Helix, shaking his head. He'd understood that simple statement well enough, luckily. "No, no attack. Not unless you're into that sort of thing, but..." He waved a paw dismissively. "That's another matter completely." Seeming to laugh at a private joke, he aimed another smile at the group. "Just here to be sociable, that's all."

Autumn heard howling, most likely from her pack, and took off.
Aura blinked " my name is Aura..." She said the only responce she could think of to his name. Into fighting? She had never head of such a thing but who knew. She blinked when he said ' beautiful ladies ' " Do you not see ladies alot?" She asked lightly. The male approacd her and she seemed to ease up. She looked at Autumn left.

"The names Starla and the pleasure is all mine." Smiling shyly she lowered her eyes. She had always been shy with compliments and this was no difference.
Chuckling lightly at the oblivious wolf she shook her head. Normally such stupidity would drive her insane but for some reason she was just highly amused. "Aura is a very unique name I like it. And I bet he sees them they just don't see him." Snickering at the unlike her joke she made she waited to see how the male would react.

Warren twitched an ear, watching the reddish female take off, but didn't say anything or react in any other way outwardly. Inwardly, he was a bit disappointed...but at least he still had two ladies to talk to.
He was about to respond to Aura when Starla's comment caught him off-guard. He couldn't help but chuckle, flashing the female a grin. "Oh darn...you caught me. Well, you know, you see a lot of interesting things when others think that no one else is watching," he teased. The truth was...he really didn't see many females. Not lately anyway. Last real conversation he could remember...was with that winged, antlered Helix, Helki. And that had been back when he was still a pup.
Still, it sounded better to joke about watching from the grasses instead of sounding like some sort of loner-by-choice. It certainly wasn't that way at all. There just...weren't many females around normally...unfortunately.

The black furred female watched them. She kept silent not understanding their jokes. She tilted her head most of the white of her muzzled dug into her paws and she had her back legs pressted apon the tree. " You must be good at hiding..." Said Aura in a bubbly tone.

"And what kind of interesting things do you see? Nothing to naughty I hope. We females need our secrets." Giving off a secretive smile she turned a coy look to the teasing male.
Sighing at the females stupidity she ignored the statment deciding to just ignore her for the moment.

"Oh, quite good, especially when I want to be," Warren winked at Aura teasingly. Even if she wasn't following along as well as the other female, who was proving to be quite intriguing herself, he wasn't going to leave her out of the conversation.
"Aww...you wound me, fair lady," Warren fake-pouted, sitting with one paw over his chest. "You take me for some kind of pervert? Not so! Females are very...complex. Mysterious to the opposite sex. I seek only to even the ground a bit with gained knowledge of the fairer gender." He put on his most winning smile for Starla, pouring on the charm.
