when Kahawa heard Patch's answer he was relieved in some way. He had been alone for a long time too and because of his young age couldn't remember anything from his family. If he still had any though. But he knew now he wasn't the only one with that background. "Oh well, I think I had family once... maybe. But I don't remember very well if I've lived somewhere with other lions." He shuffled a bit around while saying it. "But I don't really care anymore." Then he looked outside of the burrow. The dark clouds were slowly disappearing and sunshine came through. "Hey! The storm is almost over. Look Patch!"
((ya, I know patch got accepted. Im thinking of letting Kahawa join too next to Majani... maybe patch can leave the burrow and in that time meet the pride lioness. Then come back and get Kahawa or something O: after that we might be able to continue the rp in the other thread))

"Well, maybe we could be like a family. Like brother and sister. I'll look out for you like you did for me today," Patch said. She was happy to see the sun out. The temperature changed rapidly from warm to cold. Patch waited till it seemed safe outside. "Here I'll go make sure it's safe out there. I'll be right back ok?" she asked.

Upon hearing Patch's idea Kahawa happily replied "Yes! We could do that! We'll look out for each other and protect each other. I would love the be your brother!" He had someone he could call family again now and he was grateful he met Patch.
"Ok, I'll wait here. But if you're gone too long I'll come looking for you!" He said to Patch.

Patch began running back, and getting a bit lost in the process. She ran in circles as fast as her paws could carry. Finally she saw the burrow and called out to Kahawa wile panting for air, "Ka-ha-wa, (pant) you'll n-never guess what I fou (gasp) found!" She dove into the burrow. On her face was a proud smile.

Kahawa had become a bit concerned. Patch had been away for quite a long time and he thought she might've been attacked by something. But at that moment he heard Patch's voice and he jumped up with his ear perked towards the exit of the burrow. Seconds after that she came diving into it. "Wow, you're totally out of breath! I'm glad you're back though, I was beginning to think you were gobbled up by someone. But what did you find to exhaust yourself so much for?" He asked with a curious face, wiggling his tail.

Patch breathed deeply, trying to slow her heart down. The excitement was too much to bare. She jumped with joy. "There are other lions nearby! And they're looking for members for their pride. It's like a big family! Wanna go see?" Patch said enthusiastically. She knew that she probably should have apologized for making him wait but she couldn't hold in the information about the pride any longer.

"What!? You really mean that!" Kahawa cried out of excitement. His heart began pounding like crazy upon hearing the news. He joined in the the jumping of joy with Patch. "That's some great news you have there Patch! Well done!" He could have jumped right on her out of happiness but he resisted that urge. For now.
He had completely forgotten his worries and only wanted to follow Patch back to those lions. "If I wanna go see? Of course I want that! Let's go, you lead the way then!"
He was already crawling out of the burrow but then he stiffened. "Um.. Patch there are two lions coming this way. Look there, are they the ones you met?"
((I think it would be a good time to switch over to the other rp thread from now on. o: ))
