Eros rolled his eyes at his older sibling, trotting around so that he was in front of her. "Come on, Eden. Don't be so impatient." he teased. "We don't even know that much about him. He could be some sort of crazy murderer." He flailed a paw for emphasis. "No offense." he said to Ravenfall, flattening his ears in apology. "We should at least all go hunting together. It's been a while since we ate and Raven, -- hope you don't mind me calling you that -- it looks like you're hungry, too." He turned to Eris, his brother, looking for some support. Then, his ears stood straight up as he remembered something. "And not the 'ambush deer and lead them to you,' again, Eden. You need to let someone else try, more experience and everything." He strutted around in front of her, holding his head eye. "Like me, for exam-- woah!" He had been too busy talking to look at where he was going and tripped. He sat and brushed away the dirt from his fur, acting as if nothing had happened. "Like me, for example." he repeated.

"None taken." The Northerner chuckled in response to Eros's rather wild, but not impossible, suggestion. Fortunately, he was not a murderer. Not like that brightly dyed wolf that had maimed that pup one time... He didn't know for sure if the little one survived.
"I'm game for something to eat. It gives me a chance to show off." He smirked as he teased. It was meant as a joke, an exchange he often made with other Northern wolves when in good spirits. He followed Eros quietly with his eyes and held a sort of look of amusement as the other helix tripped, not that he said anything or laughed. He remained silent, but smiled.
"Just let me know what you'll have me do. I'm not exactly familiar with group hunting in these regions."

Eden glared slightly at Eros, but it immediately turned into laughter as he stumbled. "But it took you so long to master that technique brother. Are you sure you want to risk screwing up with a new friend around?" she teased, meaning no harm to him personally. She eyed Rave, attempting to look for what rank he could be placed in. Gamma possibly? or Omega. She hadn't given it thought before right now.

Eros turned his nose in the air in mock insult, then replied. "I thought I did pretty well. I mean, we only did lose nine out of ten meals. I'm pretty sure I won't mess up. And besides, we have an extra set of claws and fangs." he said, sending a thankful smile towards Ravenfall. "I'm sure this will like, what? Up my chances to eight out of ten." Sadly, these numbers were from his time in the Neutral lands where game was more common. Not the West. But it was true, they would need to learn some more tricks. What if Eden had to go away for a long period of time and no one could take her place? He scratched at the area behind his ear and turned back to her. "So we can go, right?"

"Who knows, might even up it to seven out of ten." Ravenfall quipped with a smirk and a nod. He hoped he would help enough to prove himself worthy. The game was certainly more plentiful, he was quick and small due to his time in the North. If anything...
"If you would like, I can do the chasing for a bit. I'm still good for running." Yes, he was pawsore... But what was just a little more exertion to prove that he would be a valuable asset to the newly forming pack? He was sure he could do it.

Eden was thinking up a new strategy while Eros and Rave spoke about what they might do. She flicked her tail, thinking of what kind of game they should bring down. Considering there was four of them, it would need to be pretty big.. A buck maybe. Or a fat doe. She muled it over, tapping her tail aimless on the ground. It could be a complete and total bombardment, all of them attacking the creature at once... "Who's up for a free-for-all?" She asked suddenly, smiling at the males.

"Is that really wise Eden? I know you're one for eccentric ideas but really that may be a little much." Teasing his sister he waited for the final decision of the group.

"Free for all?" Eros asked, cocking his head. That was certainly a new idea. "Do you mean we do whatever we want to one prey or we pick one each?" he asked. Okay. The first part sounded wrong, but whatever. Either way, he wondered how it would work. If they went for whatever prey they wanted and it happened to be a herd of deer... well, they'd all die, he figured. Lots of flailing horns and hooves. If it was the fact that they chased after one that they all agreed upon, then what if two decided to attack the same leg at the same time? That certainly wouldn't bode well.... Then again, there could have been some perks he missed. He blinked and looked at Eden, waiting to see if something else would pop into her mind.

Eden smirked and nodded. "We'll all take down the same one." She was thinking of the biggest creatures she'd seen so far. It was between this huge brown fuzzy thing. It acted quite ferocious and possibly deadly but nothing compared to four helixes. Or should they go after a large buck? She didn't know Rave's potential and what if the fuzzy thing was to much? The deer seemed the best and logical option. "Lets all go after a huge buck.." she said after a moment of quick thought.

"It sounds fun.. Challenging, but fun. I'm game." Ravenfall offered with a smirk and flicked his dark tail as he turned his gaze from Eden to Eros to Eris. His staying with them wasn't definite yet, but he was already starting to like them. Hopefully the feeling would be mutual and he wouldn't have to continue moving through the territory.

Eros cocked his head, his ears twitching. He finally managed to find one perk in her plan, and it seemed like a good one. If he was right, she was trying to see how good their team work would be without vocal communication. Nice. "Cool. Count me in." he said, nodding his head once. Big buck sounded interesting. It was practically an impossible task for one, even with an old or sick one, but with four... his eyes flickered around, glancing at them each, before resting on Eris. He had yet to decide.

Thinking hard on it Eris wasn't quick to agree. Yes it did sound like a lot of fun but still they had to think things through completely. There was four of them but everyone was adolescents. Could they really hunt down a buck successfully? Turning his attention to the group he realized they were waiting for his decision. "Well I do believe that even if I choose to go against this you all out voted me!" Laughing he continued more serious this time. "Sounds like fun but we still have to take precautions. If anyone gets hurt we should retreat and go after smaller game. Also everyone should be aware of the others and not give in to blood lust. We don't want any accidents." Thinking of one of them burying their teeth into another helixes hind courters wasn't a very pleasant thought.

Eden laughed lightly, thunking Eris on the top of the head with her tail. "Okay, okay little bro. So its unanimous. Time for some food." she flashed a toothy grin before setting out towards the area were most of the deers stuck around. She kept silent, trotting at a slow pace with her eyes shifting in each direction constantly. "Eris stick with me, Eros and Rave, take the flanks." she murmured, looking back at them to see if they followed orders.
Her eyes flickered to a small group of deer in the distance. They weren't close enough to sense the small adolescent pack but they would be soon. She looked at everyone in direct eye contact, conveying to be extra quite. As they approached and edged closer, there were three does, two bucks, and a fawn. Normally, they would take down the a doe and split before the papa's decided to get angry. She shifted her eyes to the smaller of the bucks. He looked like the best target.
She leaned to Eris, whispering heavily in his ear. "Tell Eros, the smallest buck.." She nodded her head in the direction of Eros before she slowly eased her way to Rave. "The smallest buck.." she murmured when she was in his ear shot distance. Moving back to the center of the half circle, Eden grinned, anxious.

((*It's, quiet. ;D))
Eros smirked at Eris's words. They were true, after all. Now that he had agreed, they would hunt soon. He looked expectantly at Eden, nodding at her directions. He stuck with Ravenfall on the way to the deer, his eyes flickering for unseen danger. They had gotten used to the Neutral lands by this point and they knew where most of the deer hung out. His ears pressed forward in his excitement and he counted them. Six. There were six. They fanned out into a half-circle and he watched Eden for her directions. She was the oldest and had the most hunting experience. It was habit that he would watch and wait for her orders. He nodded when Eris came to tell him which they were going after and he set his eyes on the small buck. It didn't look that experienced and it's horns were still growing, the velvet still on them. He hoped it would be easy enough for all four and he glanced at Ravenfall to see if the male was up to the challenge. This would be their biggest kill if they could get it. They had stuck to does, fawns, and the sick before and he spread his toes wider in anticipation.

Ravenfall probably wouldn't openly admit it, not now at least, but he was giddy with eagerness. He had never taken down something so large before, as he had mostly fed on scrawny hares and mice in the north, when they were available.
He nodded his head quietly in understanding as Eden gave him the instructions. It was simple. Smallest buck free for all and he could hardly stand the anticipation of the wait for a signal.
