"True, true." She flickered her tail as she began to walk away. "You seem suspicious about me anyways." She tucked her wings close to herself, and had an overall idea of him: He was probably just jealous.

Yugure scoffed like she didn't know what she was talking about. "I'm suspicious of everyone. Never know when they're going to suddenly turn on you and attack. It never fails to turn out like that." He said watching her walk away.
((This rp just gave me an idea of what happened to Yugure in the past to make him like this. ^_^))

"Meaning you can never trust anyone in your life. But it IS only a theory in your mind, after all." She walked on the path, kept looking forward, and watched after the path. It seemed never ending. Maybe she should just sprint, but it'd be such a waste of energy...

"It's not a theory. It's been proven over and over again." He shouted to her as she drew further away, "I can't trust anyone. They always plot things behind my back and they always, always disappoint me. Breaking their promises and going back on their word." He shook his head thinking about the past.

Yugure shook his head. If she knew about the promises that had been broken and how then she wouldn't say that. His past was not a good one and made him turn into what he is now. "Say that if you will but some promises can't be amended when broken." He said sitting down. Now that she was this far away from him he could relax a bit.

"Say what you want! Like the bones in your body, even the most hardy promises can be healed. Look into it yourself, Yugure." Finally taking a small leap, she climbed up the branches of a tree, more like hopping, one could say. "No matter how stubbornly you are, you know it yourself." She perched on a thick branch, one that could hold her weight, and peered below, where she was before. He probably didn't hear her.

Yugure merely sighed and flicked his tail. No she still didn't get it. "So tell me then how can the promise of being together and being a family can be fixed? After the ones who said they'd be my parents turned on me and tried to kill me. They even admitted that they made that empty promise so I would drop my guard so they could try to kill me." He said hearing a branch creak. He looked around narrowing his eyes. Where was she? She must be up to something.

"It's because you can mend anything yourself. You shouldn't depend on others to keep up the promise. And sure. You don't have to trust everyone you see... that'd be just foolish. You make the desicion to do so, whether or not... It's a lesson learned in life, Yugure. Where are your instincts?" She chuckle quietly had a small echo from her height.

"Trust me there was nothing that could have done to fix these promises." He said smirking, "My instincts are right here." With that he stood up and walked in the opposite direction that Themis had gone. He knew that he would be semi-safe going this way. The way she went screamed of danger.

"Excuse me?" She laughed, which echoed from her distance as well. "How can I trust you if you don't trust me? You sure do know how to make playing with words so much easier." Themis swished her tail lightly. The leaves hid her body, and as the tail hit the leaves, it made a small additional swish to the wind's sound.

Yugure growled in frustration. "You know what I mean. You don't have to trust me. It's only an expression." He said. His ears twitched as he heard some leaves move. It sounded like it had come from in front of him. He narrowed his eyes and looked up at the trees. Was she up in a tree?

"Then that means you understood me before, am I right?" She laughed once more, voice chiming with those of the birds that flew by. Knowing where he must be [looking for her, obviously], she noted that his voice grew louder, approaching.

Yugure sighed and shook his head. "If you're going to keep up with this I'm not going to speak to you anymore." He said stopping. For some odd reason he felt like something was off... like he was drawing closer to Themis instead of away.
