((Its a thought DRAMA!! We are masters by now!))

As Xai walks to the dining hall she sidles up to Mu-lin. "You did a good job my love. I know were flustered though, I am proud you went through with it." SHe says with a peck to her daughter's head. 'I don't care what Akemi thinks, this has been happening for centuries in royal families, in fact I should have Tomoe look at Ying-su too." she thinks proudly. "I may just have to do that." she says out loud, and pulls ahead of her daughter. She enters through the beaded curtain to a grand hall. It is all earth tones and has a high vaulted ceiling with a beautiful dragon mural in bright Baroque style. It has a long squat jade table in the dead center with simple carvings, small grooves along the edge, adorning the surface. but the small four legs of the table are opulent lying lions with content smiles on there faces, there tail wrapping around there bodies. The surface of the table is decorated with numerous types of foods cradled in beautiful handmade clay bowls in earthy tones, The food ranging from pheasant to jello, but all equally mouth watering. The place settings,12 of them, are gold plates and linen napkins. The table itself surrounded in mountains of pillows and silk (I sense a theme with Xai and pillows). Xai sits at the side of one side of the table, the head of the table reserved for Akemi. Ying and Yang on the other side from Xai. Mu-lin sits next to Xai head down. Xai then waits for the others to appear. 'Ying be prepared' she thinks glancing at her other daughter.

Mu-lin looks up at mum and gives a weak smile. 'At least mom is happy.' she thinks. She sniffles and tries to hold in the tears. 'This is nothing like mom said it would be. This is pure... torture. Tomoe scares me, and I can't see Rampel. Also I may have to leave Rampel forever!' the last thought procures a few tears to slide down her face. She wipes her face with the silk, a tiny revenge for Xai, and walks into the hall and takes her spot next to Xai. When she looks at her mother she sees something she never wants to. The gleam, the gleam in her eye that says she has a plan. That is what got Mu-lin in this position in the first place. Her eyes widen and she just hopes to dear god this plan isn't the downfall of everyone.

Ying and Yang chat to each other formulating a plan for the newcomer, but stops dead when she feels her mother's eyes on her. She looks up and finds, the gleam! She looks at Yang, "Did I just see what I thought I saw, directed at me!!" she whispers furiously. "Ya, whatever she is planning it isn't going to be good. Good Luck sis." "YANG you douche, HELP ME." "Sorry, I want nothing to do with the gleam." "p***y" "No, pan'lun" Ying glares at him but snaps her head up as Tomoe enters. 'It must do with him.' she thinks, and ponders if there is anyway out of this.

Akemi walked into the dining hall, finding the rest of his family, minus Rampel, all sitting around the long table. He took his place at the head, right next to Xai and Yang. Akemi immediately noticed the small gleam that stood out in Xai's eyes. He bumped her arm softly, and sent her a slightly irritated look. He knew what that gleam meant. Akemi sent a pitting glance to his twinned daughter. There was no chance that Ting was going to be settling down in a marriage any time soon. Her spirit was almost as restless as Sofiel's. And Akemi didn't think that there was a male out in the world that could handle his daughter, quite yet. She still needed to learn a few things. Akemi turned away from his daughter when he noticed that Xai's eyes had narrowed slightly. Rampel had moved to take his normal seat next to Mu-lin, but hesitated when Xai sent him a glare. With a frown on his mouth, Rampel sat down next to Ying, so that he'd be sitting right across from Tomoe. Akemi couldn't help but to chuckle under his breath. Of course Rampel would still find a way to keep Mu-lin close to himself, yet have Tomoe in his sights too. 'Ah, my son is a clever one alright.' Akemi thought to himself, proudly. When Tomoe took his seat next to Mu-lin, Akemi watched as his daughter blushed and shifted in her seat. Tomoe had reached over to take her hand, and was currently holding it, ignoring a close by - seething Rampel. Akemi cleared his throat loudly, wanting to avoid any lunch confrontations. "As you all know, we are gathered here today to-" Akemi was cut off when Rampel decided to rudely interrupt, "Father, this is not a wedding." Rampel was speaking to Akemi through clenched teeth. Akemi blinked once, confused at first what he son was talking about. It clicked when he recognized what he had been saying. "Sorry. Well then. Let's just skip the formal speech, and get straight to toast. To power, to health, and-" to arranged marriages. Akemi almost let his tongue slip. If he had said that, Xai would have had his head to eat for brunch. "And to us." Akemi lifted his wine filled glass into the air and flicked it. He watched as his family and guests repeated the action. "Now, let's eat."

Rampel wanted to growl at his mom when she had silently instructed him to let Tomoe have his seat. He had been sitting next to his sister during meals since they were young hatchlings. 'Thing's are already starting to change, with him here.' Rampel thought bitterly, sending a solid glare at his mother when he took his seat next to Ying. But then, this was a pretty nice seat. He had Tomoe and Mu-lin in his view. Yet, Rampel's side felt cold to him, missing the warmth that Mu-lin's flesh gave to his arm, while he'd sit next to her. Now Tomoe was getting everything. Rampel's frown deepened when he noticed a certain gleam within Xai's eyes. He felt his sister, Ying, whispering harshly under her breath to her twin. 'What is she planning?' Rampel followed Xai's eyes from Tomoe to Ying and back again. A spark lit up in Rampel's eyes. 'Maybe!' He thought, slight relief invading his system. Maybe Xai could switch Mu-lin's and Ying around. Maybe- Rampel shook his head. How selfish it was for him to think like that. Neither of his sisters should have to participate in a arranged marriage. Ying deserved true love just as much as Mu-lin. Rampel looked up at his favorite sister, only to find Tomoe's hand wrapped around her own. He felt his fins bristle, and couldn't help but to silently bare his teeth in warning. Tomoe naturally ignored him, while Mu-lin just stared down at the table. "Mu-lin," Rampel whispered, trying to let her know that he was still there for her. Rampel was interrupted when Akemi started his own little speech. It sounded quite familiar- Rampel's eyes narrowed and he interrupted his father in mid speech when it clicked as to what it sounded like, "Father, this is not a wedding." Rampel's teeth were clenched together and it took all of his self control not to growl at his father's mistake. Akemi seemed slightly taken back and confused at first, but Rampel noticed when it clicked in his father's mind. Akemi sent Rampel a apologetic look before skipping the whole speech all together. Rampel toasted, and drank his cup of wine in one gulp.

Tomoe smirked widely when Rampel had to give up his seat for him. 'Ah, what pleasures this day will bring," Tomoe thought, cruelly. Usually Tomoe wasn't one to test another Pan'lun, especially one as daring as Rampel. The Pan'lun was quite intimidating, with his sharp fins, and muscular stature. Rampel looked as though he could tear apart a Painter just with his glare alone. 'But if that were true, I'd already be dead.' Tomoe thought with a sarcastic chuckle. Tomoe wanted to test how far Rampel would go without snapping. So, Tomoe reached under the table and grabbed Mu-lin's hand. He felt her hand tense up in his own, but he ignored it, staring at Rampel to gauge his reaction. He was rewarded with a angry glare. It was working. Tomoe ran a finger over Mu-lin's knuckles, caressing them. He was distracted from his mission when Akemi started a speech. 'I like where this is going,' Tomoe thought, wondering if Akemi knew what he was reciting. Rampel was quick to interrupt though. It was funny, watching the older teen seethe quietly to himself. Tomoe lifted his wine glass and sipped at some of the contents. "A nice wine, Xai. I must give my Compliments." Tomoe gushed. It seemed as though the only person who really agreed to this whole thing was Mu-lin's mother. So, the way to Mu-lin was through Xai. And the way to Rampel, was through Mu-lin.

Xai ignores Akemi's bump. 'That man is in enough trouble already, I wouldn't push me if I were him.' she bristles in thought. She then turns her thoughts to her current plans, Ying-su. She needs at least SOMEONE to be married soon or her family will be a disgrace. She gets a quick side note to self,'I'M not even married!' she sighs and trudges through her thoughts. So bring up Ying and her brother, when formally introducing- RAMPEL BETTER NOT SIT THERE! she screams in her thought, her plans ruined. She sends a obvious glare, that she was glad her son understood, but of course, taking after there father, takes the next best seat. She lets it go being, really, the only available seat. 'Why is everyone opposed to this!!' She thinks frustrated. 'My whole family did it! THAT is what is done, THAT is what WILL be done.' she thinks obstinately. Xai manages skips over Mu-lins embarrassment, Akemi's speech, and Rampel due to her own thoughts. 'ANYWAYS so Ying... GOD I can't even get back on top topic- Awww I miss children having manners.' she thinks with pleasure. "Thank you Tomoe, It is a Buleart classic Pinot Noir." she says politely. Now to the plan,"So, Tomoe, here is one of out many prides of the family, Ying-su, and Su-yang. Guess which one is which?" she starts teasing.

Mu-lin in her head chants,'Please let Rampel sit here, please let Rampel sit there, please le-' and Tomoe sits down there. Rampel still, luckily, near-by keeps her hopes up. Still she keeps looking down just hoping this will be over soon. But to her surprise Tomoe takes her hand. She stiffens like a board, in fear and her eyes glued to the table are wide. Her head snaps up at any intervention never-mind it being her Rampel, but snaps to Akemi when he starts. Her head droops to the table again. She picks up her glass for the toast and lightly sips before placing it back down. She is glad for a reprieve when Xai starts on the poor Ying.

Ying gladly crosses arms with Yang and they each down their glasses to the toast. Earlier is no different than now as she fervently goes back to whispering when she hears her mother. Ying's head snaps and sends a hateful glare toward her mother. 'Tomoe is the prey not me here mother, get it straight!' she then sends a superior look to Tomoe daring him to figure it out the quiz.

Akemi almost sighs out loud, when his lover presents the test for Tomoe. He wants to try something. Akemi grasps Xai's hand gently and presses it to his mouth. Gaining her attention he whispers, "Why don't we start a little game ourselves, Xai." Akemi looked around the table to make sure that no one else heard him speak. "If Tomoe gets it right, we'll switch. Ying will be offered up, instead of Mu-lin." It was worth a try. If Akemi truly knew his daughter, Ying would find a way out of the marriage herself, that he trusted. But Mu-lin couldn't, she'd just submit and let everyone else deal with it. Akemi waited for his lovers answer.

Rampel raised his eyebrow at Xai's game. 'Is she seriously considering pairing them together?' His eyes flickered back and forth between Tomoe and Ying. Tomoe seemed to be deep in thought. It couldn't be too hard to pick those two apart. Ying had a obvious slender build, while Yang was more muscular. As hatchlings it was difficult to tell them both apart, but now...
Rampel turned his attention back to Mu-lin. She looks slightly relieved, and Rampel can't help but to smile. He tries to catch her eye.

Tomoe smile sheepishly at Xai. "Well, they do look identical. But since they are a different gender, it shouldn't be too hard." Tomoe confessed, turning his attention to the twins. One of them had a slender build, and a annoyed look on it's face. That one was glaring at Xai and back at the other twin. 'Maybe that one?' Tomoe thought, looking to the other twin. That one had a larger build, and seemed to be more relaxed. It was obvious who was who. "That one," Tomoe pointed to the first twin he had observed "is Ying-su, which means that the other one is Su-yang." Tomoe sat back, looking confident.

Xai is surprised at Akemi's proposal. Though she instintively bares her teeth quick in anger but still, in her head, debates it. Her coggs turn as she thinks it out. She felt bad for Mu-lin. But she could have anyone marry Mu-lin, Ying will be a problem though. Then Xai could also be nice but no one would know, it would all be Akemi's doing. This is genius. Though it will be difficult to persuade Tomoe. Xai then brings his knockles to her lips. She scrape sher teeth against his knuckles as her notice of still being pissed, but then kisses the marks. "For you love. But keep this in mind, Mu-lin WILL get married at some point, and I am still extremely annoyed with you. But I will do it." she whispers. "For you."

Ying's eye ridge pops up along with a vein in her forehead. "NO! Ha, you lose! You owe me a beer." she says with a weird laugh and a chug of wine. 'God, I HATE this man.. SO BAD.' she thinks grinding her teeth.

Xai looks at her daughter but decides to roll with it. "There you have it Tomoe, so now we get play a game Tomoe. Unorthodox, yes, but here it goes. We are now offering Ying for your wife, not Mu-lin. I know, rapid changes but we just had a family talk. Now Ying go be nice." Xai says with a smile and thinks,'Revenge for the rats, my love'

Ying slams her hands on the table shaking it. "WHAT? You have got to be kidding me!!" she screeches.

Xai sends a fierce glare her way and growls,"GO."

Ying glares at her mother but travels around the table and switches place with Mu-lin. Ying bows to Tomoe,"I am pleased to meet you." she says with a VERY forced smile. Yang in the meantime watches this with big eyes and hopes his dear mother really didn't plan for this to work.

Mu-lin looks at her mother in obvious relief and heaves a big sigh. She smiles at Rampel to find he was looking at her. She smiles at him and gladly switches places with Ying when she comes over after some fuss. She feels bad, but not that bad. She is polite though and bows, saying,"Thank you for your time, Tomoe" She then wiggles into Ying's spot next to her Rampel. She lightly leans into him, and is very glad to be back.

Akemi is surprised at Xai's willingness to hear him out. He was even more surprised when she actually agreed with him. Akemi couldn't help but to smile in his head. Mu-lin now had more time to spend with Rampel, while Ying kept Tomoe on his toes. With one glance at the groom-to-be, Akemi could tell that he wasn't all to pleased at the new arrangement. Seems like he really wanted Mu-lin. 'I wonder how he'll take all of this? Will he keep up this polite facade? What do you think, Fenris?' Akemi turned his body in his chair to face the entrance of the dining room, where his familiar stood watching. Fenris had a long smirk across his face, and Akemi could tell that the Coyote was enjoying the show. Fenris gave out a wolf-like chuckle in his head before answering, 'Ah, the boy is well trained, you have to give him that. He will probably run with it, to impress your lover, yet still peruse Mu-lin behind everyone's back. Though, I don't think that Rampel would give him the time to allow him to sweep your daughter off of her feet.'
Akemi picked up his wine glass and pressed it to his lips, to feign drinking. 'I shall just have to keep my eyes open then, neh?' Akemi started massaging Xai's hand, ignoring the pain in his knuckles when he ran his fingers across the back of her palms. His head moved towards Xai, to place a quick greatful peck on her cheek.

Rampel's eyes widened in shock at his mother's announcement. Mu-lin wasn't going to get married anymore?! Rampel sat up straight in his chair, and sent a smirk Tomoe's way. He was pleased to see the shocked and slightly appalled look on the teen's face. Rampel intertwined his fingers with Mu-lin's when she took her rightful place next to him. Rampel didn't give her anytime to settle in though. He stood up, dragging Mu-lin with him, and moved to whisk her out of the dining room, with a quiet 'Please excuse us, we're both full.' Even though there was still food on their plates and neither of them had eaten.

Tomoe's jaw dropped, hearing the news. 'Blasphemy!' He thought, his eyes panic'd, shooting back and forth between Xai, Mu-lin, and Ying. She couldn't be serious! Tomoe had come here for Mu-lin and he wouldn't accept any less. Sure, Ying was a attractive female, but she didn't hold as many pleasant personality traits that Mu-lin had. Ying was untamed, and was a joker. Mu-lin at least knew how to handle the situation of arranged marriages. This marriage with Ying would be not but a joke to her. Tomoe watched with dread filled eyes as Mu-lin moved over to sit with Rampel. When they both stood up to leave, Tomoe turned to Xai. He must keep his calm in this situation. He'd still find away to get Mu-lin to himself. "I would be honored to have Ying as my wife." His words came from in between clenched teeth.

Xai smirks to herself. She feels at the top of her game. She croons happily at Akemi with his peck before she turns to the problem at hand. Her face climbs into a smile at Tomoe's words. 'He really is absolutely polite. Why can't mine be like that.' she thinks with a mental pout. She opens her mouth to reply when Rampel starts out of the room. 'What the hell does he think he is doing. I just did him a huge favor!' "RAMPEL! Where on Earth do you think you are going?" she yells and rises. "We have a guest, who is dealing with our fickle family the best he can. You, at the very least, wills how the same respect." she says her temper flaring. Her moment of clarity gone with a wash of rage.

Mu-lin lets out a squeak of surprise as Rampel takes her away. Though a wash of pink colors her cheeks from embarrassment, she still says indignantly,"Rampel, this is rude, and mama is mad. Plus I am am hungry." She says over Xai and her rumbly tummy. She says this because she feels it is expected of her but in her heart she hopes Rampel ignores her and takes her away from this. Her life was out of her hands and, personally, ending about 3 minutes it ago and now her wildest dreams seem to have come true. She just wants to be whisked away from here, this horrible room, and be with Rampel.

Ying grinds her teeth with Tomoe, enjoying it just about as much. When she spots that Damn Rampel running off to enjoy himself with Mu-lin why she is stuck here she lets out a loud, fierce growl with some jaw snapping in irritation. 'That jackass, I am here dying by inches and Mu-lin gets to go enjoy herself. HOW FREAKING UNFAIR!!' she thoughts remain dark but she turns to Tomoe,"Have you ever played poker?" 'I will make this fun.' she thinks producing a smirk on her face.

A chuckle escapes from Akemi's throat when Rampel gets up from his chair and dismisses himself and Mu-lin. Akemi knew that if he looked at his wife, she'd be seething. Sure enough, when Rampel dragged her to the door, Xai stood up and started yelling at their son. He looked down at his food and started picking at the steak that laid, lifeless on his plate. He cut up the steak with his claws, while his lover was looking away. Xai always had a problem when Akemi didn't use the proper utensils to eat his food. Akemi flicked up a piece of steak into his mouth, and smirked at the look on his lover's face. Xai's attention was stuck on Rampel, and she looked furious. A small part in the back of Akemi's mind couldn't help but to be happy at the fact that her anger wasn't directed at him, for the moment. He sighs softly, and runs his thumb over the back of her hand, trying to calm her down slightly. From past arguments, Akemi knew that Xai didn't always think straight when being furious. Akemi directed his attention to Mu-lin, and the small look of relief on her face. Akemi pushed his chair out and leaned up to his love. "Ah, just let them go, my love. It'll give Tomoe the chance to get to know Ying better, since less Painters shall be here to distract them." Akemi pressed a kiss against the skin behind her ear. "And you remember what the fairy said. It's all fine. Let them have their fun." Akemi rubbed his cheek against his Xai's and sat back down.

Rampel froze at the sound of his mother's angry voice, his hand still entwined with Mu-lin's. He flexed his fins, aggravated that his mother was stopping them from leaving, because she thought that this Tomoe deserved his respect after going after HIS Mu-lin. Rampel bowed to his mother, and then to Tomoe. "You're right mother. I just needed to speak with my sister quickly, in private. We will be back in time for course number two." He tugged her gently and strolled out the door, not waiting for his mother's answer. He knew that he'd get a very long talking to later, but the time that he'd have to make up with Mu-lin would be worth it. "Mu-lin-" His voice was cut off by a loud growling from her lower belly. Rampel laughed, throwing back his head. "Well, maybe we should grab something to eat first. I have some dried jerky in my room from a few days ago. It won't fill you, but it should quiet your stomach down." Rampel chuckled again. He led them to his room, and directed her to sit down on his bed when they arrived. Rampel shut the door behind him, and then stuck his clawed hand underneath his pillow and pulled out a bag of jerky. "Here you go," Rampel plucked a piece from the bag and directed it to Mu-lin's mouth.

Tomoe frowned at Rampel's back. 'He escaped,' he thought, angrily. He looked back at Ying. 'Have I ever played poker? What would that have to do with anything?' Tomoe cleared his throat before speaking up. "I've played it once or twice before. Mother doesn't like me gambling." Tomoe put on a fake smile and scratched the back of his head.

((What are we going to do about
1.)Rampel, the fairy situ
2.) Sofiel's situ
3.) Them turning into adults
4.) Akemi's 'trist'
We got things to think of! ))

Xai ignores Akemi's minstrations though a slight shiver racks her body. She ignores her own reactions and whispers,"I believe nothing of that deceitful fairy." she does meantally calcualate what he says. 'Its true.' She sits down when Rampel explains himself. She whispers under her breath,'I will make that boy listen one of these days.' "Be quick Rampel." she simply says. She then turns to Akemi,"You better be right about Ying, and you give them to much slack." she says critically poking him in the cheek. She then notices he is chewing, so looks at his plate and his knife still gleaming silver on the side of the plate. She sends a glare to Akemi," Akemiii, what did I say?" she whispers harshly. She pokes his belly but ends up smiling,"I just can't deal with you today." she says with a shake of her head and a slight kiss on his scraped knuckles. She then massages her temples. 'Its going to be a LONG day.'

Mu-lin blushes at her tummy grabbing it to silence it. She even shushes it herself with a finger to her lips. But soon is distracted by Rampel's voice. She just looks up at him when they enter the hallway. Then soon tears start to form in her eyes. She launches herself onto Rampel and then the sobs start escaping her throat. "I missed you." she says after slowing down a little.

Ying just lets out a smirk,"Good so you at least know the rules. Lets play a game." she says and latches onto his arm. "Come on I have a deck in my room. I'm out mum." She then procedes to drag him to her room. 'GOD I am a GENIUS! I bet this guy has an ego the size of China. We play a game, betting our marriage. I win, and then BOOM, whole ordeal done. Just got to get out of mum's view in case of RAMO, Rapid Angry Mother Onset.' she lets out a slight giggle at her thoughts.

Xai gives her daughter the eye but nods her head,"Be GOOD, Ying. I swear, if you mess this up you will pay for this for MONTHS." she says with a slight growl. 'I know you to well Ying, Come on, don't do this to me.'

Ying just lets out a "Ya,surewhatever" and proceeds with plan.

Akemi watched in silence as each of his children ran off, leaving their plates full and untouched. Surprisingly, Xai didn't seem to notice the state of their plates, and Akemi knew that when she did, the cooks would be informed that the nights Supper would have to be grand. Akemi started nibbling on a few pieces of Steak, using his utensils only to please his lover. He ate slowly, along with Xai, waiting for Alperen and Yang to leave. They excused themselves at the same time and retreated to their rooms. Akemi took the opportunity to strike up a much needed conversation with Xai.
"I believe what the fairy said. Look at our son, Xai. He looks nothing like his mother, and it's only a coincidence that we share similar markings. Mu-lin and him are not blood related, so why do you deny them their love?"
Akemi only wanted his children to be happy, and he knew that Mu-lin and Rampel would only be miserable if they had to live without each other. That was the reason why Akemi let Sofiel go, because keeping her locked up would make her miserable, if she was happy out there by herself, then so be it. He doubted that any of their children could do something to anger him, when it made themselves happy. Unless, of course, it was one of Ying and Yangs pranks.

Rampel wraps his arms around Mu-lin and starts swaying them in their embrace, to calm her down. "Hush," he whispers, trying to silence her sobs, so he wouldn't start crying also. It seemed that Rampel could hardly hold his own tears back when his younger sister was crying. Yet, crying with Mu-lin didn't make him feel any less of a male. "I've miss you too, Mu-lin." Rampel leaned back into his bed, so that they were both laying side by side, still entangled in each others arms. "What now?" He asked, not sure of where their future would guide them.

Tomoe excused himself after Ying, and followed her to her room. "Well then, shall we play?" Tomoe settled himself on her floor and waited for her to take out the deck of cards.

Yang watches Ying leave and looks at Alp. He stuffs his face for a little bit and then snags Alp on the way out. "Dad has that look, come on. How about we not get hooked into a lecture. Lets see if we can help Ying out." Yang then hauls on Alp and checks out his sister's progress with getting rid of the said 'pest.'

Xai watches the kids wisely leave and then turns to Akemi knowing he is going to have something to say. While he gets his thoughts together while eating some steak, Xai reflects on everyone's lack of appetite and her social standing crumbling corners. She lets out a sigh as Akemi starts on. "But Akemi they KNOW each other as brother and sister. They have lived that way since birth. 'Just because he is not really ours doesn't mean we don't think of him as family' spiel counts for everyone. We ALL think of him as a loved one. INCLUDING Mu-lin. There love is no to be Akemi, and I refuse to let this be Hamlet." she says getting up and turning to Numo,"Be a love," she address him," And tell the chef to save the left overs and fix us up a generous feast for dinner. OH and Akemi use your cutlery." she ends and comes back toward Akemi fixing her beloved pillows as she goes.

Mu-lin sniffles,"mmmkay only for you." she says with a grin but tears still twinkling in her eyes. She hugs him deeper just enjoying his scent and warmth. She also wraps her hand around one of his fins delighting in their familiar texture. As she reminisces she is soon tumbled onto Rampel's bed. She lets out a delighted giggle after a surprised squeak. She snuggles her head into his chest. But lets out a sad sigh has he breaks the moment with THE question. MU-lin just buries her head,"I don't wanna talk about it." she moans, and ignores him playing with his fins again.

Ying watches her prey wit careful eyes. "Actually do you mind Blackjack instead. I knew you wouldn't. So the regular rules, I'm dealer till three losses." she fishes out a deck of cards from a the top drawer of a cherry wood chest of drawers. The room is a little messy, not bad. Mainly Yang's stuff is hanging about. Ying clears a small, also cherry wood, table of its stuff with a sweep of her arms. She doesn't let Tomoe check the deck, and deals out. Ying deals herself a ace and King right off and calls black jack. The second set she gives Tomoe a two and eight. She gives herself a ten, and a nine. She hits Tomoe a Ace, and herself a two winning for 21. She keeps this up for about 3 more rounds before letting Tomoe win once and then starts up again. She smiles at Tomoe,"Having fun."

"Xai, you know that it isn't true." Akemi reached out and grabbed his lover's hand, bringing her actions to a stop. "They've always been close. Too close. Ying and Yang's relationship towards each other doesn't even compare to the one that they share. And those two are twins!" Akemi tried to fish around for something in his head that would convince Xai. He knew that if he kept on about it, she'd crumble, but he wanted her to realize what their children had together. And he wanted her to be happy for them both. Akemi got a idea. "What if we did let it happen. Then Rampel could be our real son, through Mu-lin." Akemi sighed, loosening his grip on Xai's hand. He gently caressed it, worried that maybe his grip was too rough. His lowered his voice a few notches, "Do you really think that we can stop this? You know Rampel. Mu-lin is the number one thing that he cares about. She's his life, as he is hers. Would it be right to hurt them like that? You saw how both of them acted today when they thought that they could never be together. Xai," Akemi paused in his speech, to enhance the dramatic effect "They were always meant to be together. Look at how things played out today. They both ended up back together, and if that is what fate wants for them, then why are we both standing in their way?" Akemi brought his love into his arms, anticipating her reaction.

"Mu-lin," Rampel murmured, pressing his face deeper into Mu-lin's neck. He breathed softly, letting his breath dance across her skin. "I need to know," His voice sounded slightly desperate, he was pleading with her.
A shiver made it's way down Rampel's spine, as Mu-lin continues to play with his sensitive fins. "Stoppit," He grumbles, capturing her hands with his own. Rampel stares at their hands, his heart fluttering when he notices how nicely they fit together. He places a kiss on each of her hands, then moves up to her face to place two kisses on her cheek. If even physically possible, Rampel pulls Mu-lin closer to himself.

"UGH! I'm sick of this! You have got to be cheating." Tomoe accuses, pointing a clawed finger at Ying. No Painter had that much skill or luck to win that often. "I quit, This is over," He growls, getting up from his place next to the table. Tomoe storms out of Ying's room, and makes his way down the hall way, in search of Mu-lin. He came here for her, and she would be the only one that he would leave with.

Xai cringes when Akemi grabs her hand. 'When did he care so much.' she says with a pout and listens to him and hopes he lets go soon. She looks at Akemi,"I want him to be mine. He is mine." she mewls out thinking of her baby she doesn't even notice Akemi's loosened grip until he strokes her hand. She quickly worms her hand away from him. She nurses her hand while contemplating."Akemi, you know very well Fate has- OOMPH" she lets out crashing into Akemi's chest. She pushes away again."No, no, you know my feeling. But I will talk to them for you. AGAIN. Because you seem to care EXTREMELY. Now let me be." she says stubbornly holding her hand. 'I am not three, I do not have to be consoled like one.' she mutters to herself. She goes back to her pillows before her attention is quickly diverted.

Mu-lin flushes as Rampel's breath tickles her nape. "No, you don't just be with me." she pleads back gripping his back with her claws. "Don't leave me." Tears threaten to leak but stopped by a little giggle at Rampel's 'Stoppit.' she kisses his hands holding hers. Her heart warming with her hands. As he returns the notion she just watches him and memorizes his features until he surprise her with kissing her face. She blushes more if that is possible. She takes a deep breath and leans in and plants a very quick chaste kiss on his lips before hiding her head quickly under his chin. "I love you." she mumbles.

Ying smirks,"You can't prove a thing" she comments. "HEY, where are you going? We haven't made the ultimate bet yet? GET BACK HERE. YYYYAAAAANNNNNGGGG, GO GET MOOOMMMM." she screetches. Yang hanging with Alp outside the room runs for Xai yelling behind him,"Go with Ying to stop her from being stupid!" He runs into the dinign your into an awkward atmosphere. "Errrmmm, Tomoe stormed off, toward the East Wing. We think he is going for Mu-lin..... ya.. I'm going." he runs off.

Xai cocks a eyebrow and growls. "This WILL NOT HAPPEN." she yells storming toward Mu-lin's room in a almost palpable rage.

Akemi offers his lover a grin, happy with the conclusion. He knew that deep down, Xai would be happy with the outcome of Mu-lin and Rampel's relationship. Akemi couldn't help but to turn his head and roll his eyes when Xai removed her hand from his own. Sometimes she really acted like a three year old... (Sorry, had to add that in. XD)
"Now, now, now. Hold up, I haven't gotten the chance to thank you." Just as Akemi was about to rip the pillow out of her hold, Yang came storming in, announcing that Tomoe had snapped and was looking for Mu-lin. A flash of worry made it's way across Akemi's features, but he quickly got a hold of himself. 'Rampel is with Mu-lin. I'd be worrying more about Tomoe then Mu-lin...'
When Xai took off to find the boy, Akemi followed close behind her. If there was any chance that she might get harmed by this angry teen, Akemi would be there to protect her. 'Not that she really needs it.' Akemi thought with a amused huff. His lover looked angry enough to take out a whole village of knights.

Rampel groaned when Mu-lin dug her claws into his back, arching into her touch. "I'm not going to leave you. I'll always be by your side." Rampel chuckles, seeing the deep blush that further darkened Mu-lin's already red skin. His breath caught in his throat when Mu-lin kissed him, his tan eyes wide. "Mu-lin," Rampel breathes out her name, resting one hand on the side of her face. Her confession was quiet, and his ears strained to hear it. Rampel bit his lower lip but couldn't hide the small grin that grew on his face. He let Mu-lin hide her face from him, knowing that this was a big step for both of them. Rampel laughs in happiness, tilting Mu-lin's head upwards with two of his fingers. He presses his lips against her's gently, moving against her. He pauses in their kiss, "I love you too,"

Tomoe rampaged down the hall, in the direction that Mu-lin had left during their meal. A constant growl was burning at the back of his throat, and he wished to do nothing more then rip this annoying family apart. He paid no attention to the yelling that came from behind him, only focusing on finding Mu-lin. Tomoe paused in step when he passed a cracked door. It was different from the other closed doors in the hallway. Tomoe peered in, eyes widening upon seeing what was behind the door. It was Mu-lin...and Rampel, kissing?

You meanie XD
Xai, a little pissed she didn't get 'Thank you' over this s**t, storms down toward Mu-lin. She throws back to her lover," You WILL get back to me later." She knows Akemi is behind her, and she storms along with her backup at her back. She agreed with her lover and planned on ending this before her guest got hurt. As she nears Mu-lin room her temper flares more. 'AND I have to explain this fairy stuff to them too. This day SUCKS.' she mentally fumes. She spots Tomoe and booms,"WHAT ARE YOU DOING." she then reaches for Tomoe's scruff as she nears him planning on stopping him.

Mu-lin is in excasty as Rampel reveals his thoughts with a kiss. She leans into the kiss and wraps her arms around him again and once again presses him into her with her claws, being extra careful of her favorite-ist fins. She the kiss breaks to breath and is about to whisper some of her deepest thoughts of her closest love to her closest love when she hears her "XAI" she screams and jumps at her mother's voice. She whirls around shoving away Rampel so on the off chance maybe she wouldn't punish the two by separating them later. Then she spots a pair of level, even, slate grey eyes, fuming. She breaths,"..Tomoe.. I .. don't tell I.." when she glimpses her mothers claws reaching for the intruder. She turns to Rampel with very worried eyes. "I love you"

Ying 'almost' shoves Tomoe out of the way to see what he is gazing at so closely when she spots her mom by her booming, very angry voice and Yang. She grabs her twin and Alp and make themselves scarce. Nobody wanted to be in the line of fire when this hits the fan.
