Letting loose his own playful growl the teen hopped over a fallen log, playfully determined not to be caught...not yet at least. "NEVER!" He panted, stretching his legs out to take big strides while he ran.
The tackle came close, too close so he did the only thing the game mentioned. He ran like his tail was on fire, not noticing the general shrubs and plants he ran over to get away, not feeling the burrs getting caught in his fur or mud dirtying his paws. His heart beat wildly with pleasure, it felt so fun to play again! His cut leg slowed him down a bit with a throbbing soreness, it would probably start bleeding later but at the moment he was too happy to care.

She skidded in the mud and gave a short and playful yip as the other adolescent shot off through the foliage. She was slowed briefly from recovering from her first attempt at a tackle, but quickly picked up the pace and shot after him like an arrow flew from a bow.
"Too bad!" She practically barked as she charged after him and the moment he started to slow, she lept into another tackle.

He wouldn't get caught, he wouldn't get tagged, he wouldn't get captured....
Kane let out an embarrassingly puppy-ish "YIP!" as he went down, tackled by the green female. Growling playfully he struggled to get up. "Hey, you!" He wasn't willing to admit a girl had just outrun him. Yeah, northerners were slow, sure, snow didn't let you run much, but still...!

"HAHA! I win!" She snarled in a playful challenge, then was quickly on her paws and batting at the red and white male with mock aggression. It certainly did feel good to act ones age and she gave him a wry smirk, then shot off to the right in an attempt to escape the young Northerner.
"Can't catch meeee!" She called over her shoulder, taunting him.

He struggled to his paws, distracted for a moment by the smell of the male. He was closer, whoever he was. Kane realized she was getting away and hurried after Sorrel. He placed his trust in her, she had said Efreet wouldn't attack if she told him not to.
Heart pounding he panted, laughing. "You can run but you can't hide." His nose was working now, he could and would track her down!

Sorrel was brimming with confidence as she darted off speedily towards the nearby river that she often used for nourishment, water and fish, with an aim to throw his scent off.
She had a male who was sweet and fancied her, now a new friend, and all seemed right with the world. She was positive that Efreet wouldn't try and harm Kane, not with he being a friend of hers. Sadly, the idealistic, young female was naive enough to believe he wouldn't see Kane as a threat.
"You just try 'n find me, lazypaws!" She called back, tauntingly, as she slipped into the still chilly waters and waded up river.

Okay, he could do this! He had tracked in snow for crying out loud. Nose to the ground he followed her scent trail to the river. "Trying to trick me are you?" He called out, knowing she probably wouldn't answer or risk him finding her. He paced up and down the bank, nose in the air this time. He wasn't sure, air tracking wasn't something he'd tried before. Plus there was a small breeze blowing her scent around. "Uhhh...." He gave a goofy grin. Guessing, he went the wrong way.
( Should we have Efreet find him? Could be interesting lol )

Sorrel giggled softly as she inched near the shore banks, hiding beneath an overhang that offered shelter. Moss and weeds hung low and she planned on using them, as well as her camouflaged coat, to help shield her from Kane's sharp eyes. He was close, she knew that, and she hoped fate played in her favor in their little game. Though she was mature for her age, even she looked past the importance of their game and how it would affect their lives in the future, not only in their ability to hide and stalk, but in the relationship between she and the male that doted on her day and night.

Thoroughly confused Kane realized he had gone the wrong way. Impossible! Yet he couldn't smell her at all over here. He quickly back tracked. Ah, there was the smell again! He ran along the right side of the bank, right past her. "I got you now Sorrel!" He laughed, thinking he was victorious. Her camouflage was working perfectly, he hadn't seen her at all hiding there.
