Dyvolio listened intently, his ears pressed forward. Once she had finished, he sighed. "Wow." he said, preparing his questions. "How do you know all of this?" he wondered. "And why do you choose to help them? It's possible the world will be better off with just you, not them." he shrugged. He didn't want to come off as cruel but he decided it was best for her to know all of her options before she decided to give herself up. It was one of the best and worst sacrifices one could make. "I will assume your companion is Ferey?" he said after a moment, just in case she needed a change of subject.

"My care taker and neck pain Ferey has told me all this. The female explained that the pups had some type of power over them that I would have to fix and that I would lose myself to it. She couldn't say more since she had to run off quickly." Hearing his other questions caused her to tense but she held her ground. "They're my family. I can't just live knowing they stand no chance without me. It's just.......to hard to think of leaving them as they are."
Laughing Ama shook her head smiling brightly. "No Ferey is to much of a pansy to travel such distances. The farthest he goes now a days is to this territory and only because it is his birthplace. No my companion is a kind Southern helix by the name of Lloyd. He has agreed to accompany me."

"That's understandable." he said. Even if she was beautiful, he had just met her, and he didn't have many opinions on her. He had told her what he thought and she disagreed with it. No one could say he didn't try, at least, right? He smirked at the description of her small fox friend. It sounded a bit like him nowadays. He had recenlty migrated and he saw no reason to leave these lands. "Lloyed?" he asked curiously. "Where is he now?" he asked. Didn't she say she was going on her journey soon? If so, wouldn't they be together? He supposed it didn't have to be that way. Maybe they were both enjoying the Neutral lands or something before they had to leave.

"He's resting in the Southern territory. He's older then you and I and though I tried convincing him not to come he insisted. We'll have to go slow but that's fine by me. Slow and steady......" Losing herself in her thoughts of her journey she shook her head as she realized she was spacing. "What of yourself? Here I've been so focused on me that I forgot my manners. I apologize."

"I see." he said. He figured the Llyod helix must be pretty old if she was convinced he was older than himself when she didn't know his age. "Myself?" he asked. He would have enjoyed the change of subject if there was something interesting he could say. "Oh, don't worry about it. You're quite interesting if I may say so myself." he smiled, wondering what else he could say. "Hmm, I'm afraid my story is not as interesting. Just moved into the Neutral lands, settling and all." he shrugged.

"It may not be interesting to you but to someone who's never had a normal life it's beyond interesting. How do you interact with other helixes? What's living in the neutral lands like?" Ama had grown up raised by a fox and treated like a little lady. Ferey had been there drilling her like a sargent. Though she loved him dearly still he provided her with a non normal puphood.

"Yes, that is true." Dyvolio murmured, thoughtful. He was interested to know how she grew up but the topic was on him now and he felt no need to change it so soon. "I've only been in the Neutral lands for only a short while, although I have enjoyed my time here immensly." he smiled. "I interact with other helixes pretty much like I do with you. I'm curious to know what others are like. As you know, we all have our opinions and it can be quite interesting to see things from another's point of view. I hope that by doing this, I may expland my knowledge on others and form a successful pack. Not all packs make it, whether because there's a shortage of food or lack of teamwork or some other obstacle. I'm afraid I can't say I've had any previous experience on this but that won't deter me." He chuckled lightly, blinking a few times when everything turned into various shades of silver. He preferred to see things in color although his silver-sight often helped him in times of need. Some things were easier to notice when the world was one color.

Seeing him blink oddly Ama wanted to ask but decided against it. She had already asked so much of him and though she was gaining immense insight as to the life, personality and opinions of an alpha still she had always felt bad for prying. "You have the most insightful view of any one person I have ever met dear Dyvolio!" Laughing she felt good. "But to hear not all packs make it is saddening. I hope that doesn't happen to either your or my future packs."

"Really?" Dyvoilio asked, smirking. "Why, thank you." he said, flashing his teeth in a grin. Compliments were always one of his favorite things, especially when they were directed at him. His grin didn't falter at her next words but thinned into a smile as he shook his head in agreement. "True, although I doubt it'll happen to us. You've got an interesting future planned for yourself and I have an insightful view, after all." he chuckled, shaking out his mane. He pawed at a flower and peered at it, his head cocked a bit. "Tell me... in your opinion, what do you think makes a good pack?" He looked up at her, his interest in the plant gone. As he had said before, he was interested in the opinions of others and he would like to have hers before she set off.

"A good pack?" Well he had a point. What made a good pack? Ama thought on what she wished her pack to be like if she ever got the chance. "They have to be loyal to each other and respect one another. Because if there's any kind of division within the pack it will eventually lead to the destruction of the pack." Nodding her head she continued. "They should all be understanding and willing to share responsibilities even if its 'below their rank.' They can't discriminate against others and have to follow orders while still retaining a bit of their own individuality."

Dyvolio nodded, smiling. "Yes, I agree." It was nice to know that a young helix such as her was knowledgeable. He sighed, staring into the distance, knowing she would probably have to leave soon. "Would you perhaps want some advice from someone like me?" he asked, in an attempt to have her stay a bit longer. He quite enjyed her company and although he couldn't really think of any advice to give her at the moment, he was sure something would pop up.

"Actually I'd be delighted to have advice from as wise an alpha as you. I was thinking of asking but you beat me to it." Smiling Ama was surprised at how easily the speech between the two of them flowed as if they had been acquaintances since puphood. This pleased Ama because it gave her hope for the future and the pack that she wished with all her might to have. With a content look on her face Ama allowed the male time to think over all the advice he wished to give her. She didn't mind. Patience was a strong suit of hers unlike most others.

Dyvolio laughed at her words, although it was more at himself. "Wise?" he chuckled. "I suppose that's one way of saying it." He smiled, throwing up his horns. "Well, all right then, let's see here...." he murmured, his voice fading away as he thought. He peered at her, his lips curved slightly in thought. "To tell you the truth, after our conversation, I'm pretty sure you'll know most of the advice I can give you." He paused before continuing again. "I suppose all I can tell you at the moment is to never lose yourself." he smiled knowingly, and his eyes were soft. "Because if you don't have yourself, then what do you really have, eh?" He grinned and flicked his tail, feeling foolish, since he was unsure if she would understand him or not.

"Lose.....myself?" Ama understood. She'd seen some helixes lose themselves when surrounded by certain helixes. She felt he was wise even if he didn't seem to feel the same. She only hoped that this journey wouldn't make her lose herself before she even made it to find her sisters. Lloyd would keep that from happening she reassured herself almost forgetting about her company. "I think I understand what you mean. You have a very good point."

Dyvolio chuckled. "Really, now? Well, that's a first." He shook his head, smiling, and when he opened his eyes, he had his normal vision back. He blinked slowly, startled by the sudden change, but was used to it soon enough. Looking back a her, he sighed, a bit of something like sadness entering his eyes. "I suppose you'll need to leave soon. To get ready for your journey." he said quietly.
