Alright, my 'Wonderless' theory was something I came up with sometime this year. It started with a dream i had; I dreamed that I was in a world that was between all existing universes, and because it was between all laws, anything can happen. Words were power and thoughts controlled physical actions.

This world between worlds was called Wonderless, and my theory began to form. What if there was a centerpoint of all things, a point between people, animals, inatimate objects, everything. Imagine it, if you will, like a building, there are many rooms within it that are not connected to each other. You cannot go straight from one room to another, but if you go out into the hallway, you can travel to other open rooms, if only to take a look inside. Wonderless is the hallway between the 'rooms'.

If there was such a center point, it would explain empathy, phychic occurances, telekinesis, OBE, and a variation of other things that have to do with beyond-natural penetration. If you want a more poetic explination of Wonderless, I do have a poem written in the Library that explains the ins and outs.

Does anyone have any questions? Is this theory viable in anyway do you think?

It is called "lucid" dreaming. a dream where you are in the same universe, and you have complete controle over it. It tkles practice to do it every night. taking naps helps. I to lucid dream so I know how you feel. but there are times where god gives me dreams as well.

Oh, i know the original dream was a lucid dream, and i can do it fairly often, especially if i sleep in. But it just got me to thinking, you know? So I came up with the theory somewhat based off it. I don't neccissarily believe the dream itself was 'Wonderless'.

*pat pat* Don't worry Ness. ^^ I'm actually surprised that you managed to think of that on your own, i just didn't put it immediately here because it was a somewhat iffy part of the theory. *hugs Nespin* *gives chocolate*

I'm not sure whether I myself have had an OBE (out of body expirience), but the mom of one of my friends thinks I have. Sometimes I see places in my dreams that I see later, and I had a flashback once when I was with her, and she thought my soul/mind sorta wandered out of my body while I was sleeping and saw those places before.

I'm not sure of this myself since it could also be precognition.

But the term you're looking for is either OBE or 'walking the astral plane' or 'astral projection'.

but if you were to do that, wouldnt that be like, an open door for a demon to enter it while away from your body? and you wouldnt be breathing i dont think, it could be just our head imagining it while were asleep, or just someting god gives us, strange ._.

Astral projection does not interfere with the regular bodily processes. In fact, any interference (such as weird breathing) is usually enough to immediately snap you BACK into your body.

I suppose it would leave your body open - so that's why you don't just leave your body defenseless. Shields, constructs, warding, alarms - all sorts of things are available to protect yourself.

Besides, I'd be more worried about the demon trying to feed off your astral form than trying to steal your body.

the spiritual world is just so confusing eyh > < '

well. at least to me. you never know what your body wants to do while asleep. its kinda scary to think about it. yet, facinating.

Interesting. I have had the same idea but I have kept calling it the unknown. But you may call it what you wish, I just find it interesting that I am not the only one who has thought about this. I see it a little differently though. I beleive that the "hallway" connecting the room's can change it's form at wish allmost as if it was living in a way. It can change what it does, how it functions, and also how it does what it does, the only thing is that it has to continue doing the one thing that you stated, to connect the room's all together. All things in life are connected in a strange way. If you think about it, it slightly like the idea of reincarnation. Life can come back as an inatimate object or an animal (I don't beleive in reincarnation though. Just so you know). However this "Hallway" (I call it the unknown) is what all the life has to go through to get to become a new being, or inanimate object in this case.

That's actually really funny, I also use the term 'unknown' when talking about touching onto 'wonderless'. I use 'unknown' when I talk about what is somewhat the transitioning area of mindset between the physical world and 'wonderless'... I know thats really confusing, its hard for me to explain.

Its like, have you ever meditated and just started thinking about yourself as a person? After awhile you find yourself becoming more and more unfamiliar, until for a brief amount of time, you don't know who you are anymore. Its only happened to me a few times, its rather unsettling. But when it does happen you start to see the universe as a whole in a better perspective. I think that when you do something like that, enter the 'unknown', that you have most likely touched on that central plane.

Again, I'm not even sure if I believe all of this myself, but I can't seemt to stop playing with the theory. And I agree with you about it 'moving', I just used the hallway example because it seemed to make the most sense to people.

Wow that's really interesting that you call it that as well. I know the sensation when you feel like you are out of your body. However I see myself and the world differently at that exact moment in time, even if it is for a minute or a few seconds. I notice it, and most people have to ntoice it. I also beleive that this "unknown or Wonderless" is attatched to our dreams, allowing us to see specific things and everything in a small portion, beacuse that is what the "unknown" is, it is everything in a massive peice, well that's waht I beleive.

Actually, I'm in agreeance with you, Rowan. I've had that theory for many many years now, just based soley off my dreams, even though they weren't actually about the world of 'Wonderless'. I figured it just made sense that there was a plane that connected all existing planes somewhere, but I also theorize that is one of the places the soul goes after it dies before it carries on into the afterlife and reincarneates, or what have you. But hey, this is just my personal opinion. sweatdrop
