What did I expect from this class? he repeated the question in his head. After a few moments he began to write. Not thinking that this assignment was based more on honesty instead of literature, he began to write what he really thought.
I expected a strange class.
I expected a strangely decorated room, such as this very one.
I expected a strange teacher, one different from the rest.
I expected a strange presence, filled with strange students.
I expected a strange way of learning
I expected many strange things, this being a class of creativity.

Unable to think of anything else to add onto his paper Zero printed his name at the top of the paper and handed it in. Deciding to hang-out in the classroom a bit he pulled out a sketch pad and started to finish up one of his previous sketches.

Nirissa laughed lightly at herself, and whispered, "Just a bit, aren't you?" to Chun-yan, obviously oblivious to the fact that he was her Master. After glancing at the clock with surprise at the large amount of time that they had left, she dropped her pencil, deciding to worry about the assignment till later on. She glanced down at her page, viewing what she had already written:
What I expected from this class
I expected the classroom to look more like a classroom.
I expected loads upon loads of writing assignments.
I expected more students.
Bleh, I have nothing! She frowned at her sheet, her mind trying to think up other things that she had expected. The list was short, but that wasn't surprising. She didn't expect stuff from anyone or anything. She didn't think ahead and go 'Oh! I bet it will be like this!" However it was when she saw it, that's how it was. Her eyes flashed back to Chun-yan as she expressed how she too could not think of anything. She smiled and nodded in response, "I'm in the same boat, everything I have written down is so bad."

Chun-yan shook her head at Nirissa's question. Since she has grew up with her Master, she has learned how to not be afraid of him. She has grown to look up to him. She knew only the teachers knew about the fact that Jung-Woo was her Master. She was told by Jung-Woo to not tell anyone unless it was necessary. She looked at her empty paper. "I guess I can write something. I think he wants our opinion on what we thought of the class and things. I don't think he knows how he was going to teach us." Chun-yan thought aloud, loud enough only for Nirissa and her Master to hear.
She tap the pencil to her lip once more before starting to write.
I was expecting a class that is interesting, a class where we are allowed to use our imagination to our will. A class where powers are useless and only those who use their mind would pass. I was expecting a class that does not mind what the students are but who the students are. I was expecting a class where people don't fight and work things out as calmly as they can. I was expecting an interesting class. A class where the people are accepting to their classmates and who can get along as well as they can.
Chun-yan looked over what she wrote and dotted the I's. She hand her paper over to Nirissa, to give her a little inspiration. "Here, maybe this will help you write what you want to write."
Jung-woo was handed the first paper by a boy. He sense the area around him starting to go cold. He looked at the paper. Zero Iceheart. Iceheart? Isn't that the name for that ice demon family, I visited when I was young. But I've heard they were all dead. I'll look into it later. Jung-woo nodded at the boy and watched as he went back to his stump and took out a sketch pad. So he likes to draw? Jung-woo thought to himself when he heard what Chun-yan said. If it wasn't for the fact that he was suppose to set an example to the students, he would have sweatdrop. She was somewhat right. He was still consider young for his race. He was only 89, and that's young for a vampire. He knew what he was going to do in the class. He just don't know what else he was going to make them write about. What I wouldn't do for some Earl Grey Tea.

Nirissa paused with suprise at Chun-yan's insightful answer about Mr. Li, but quickly regained composer as she was passed Chun-yan's paper. While reading Chun-yan's paper, a smile crept across her lips. It felt like Chun-yan's writing was calming her. Her tense and alert appearance suddenly melted into a content, tranquil state. She didn't point out actual objects and things like she had. She had written out her thoughts. Passing the page back to Chun-yan, Nirissa nodded, "Thanks, that really helped." She dived back into her work, erasing what she had before and replacing it with new thoughts.
What I expected from this class:
Nothing, I didn't wonder what this class would be like. I didn't wonder what it would look like. I expected it to be a class, which it is. Simple as that. I didn't fantasize about a normal-looking classroom, or a larger amount of students, or the loads upon loads of assignment. I just expected my class to be here, and, tada, it is. The rest I would find out when I arrived here.
"Done, I think." She sighed, and nudged her notebook closer to Chun-yan with this side of her hand, "Mind reading it and telling me how I did?" She looked over to Chun-yan, waiting to see her reaction.

Chun-yan read what Nirissa has written down. She smiled when she read it. It was just like Nirissa. The whole paragraph was just what Nirissa was thinking and how she looked at things. She nodded towards Nirissa. "It's very good. I can see you in it too. It's like your writing shows your personality. It's very insightful." She looked over her paper once more before standing up. "I'm handing my paper in now. What about you, Nirissa?"

Looking up from his sketch Zero looked around the classroom. Nothing had really changed since he flipped open his sketchbook. He didn't really have anything to do so he continued to sketch his picture until he was finished which was quite soon. Adding the shading to the leaves of the trees of his landscape Zero changed his pencil to a 4b.

Pink highlighted Nirissa's cheeks as Chun-yan complimented her work, and she quietly mumbled a 'thank you' in response, Was she that easy to interpret? Maybe it was just her personality on paper. She glanced down at her paper, trying to find her personality in the words she wrote, before she replied Chun-yan's question, "I guess I'll hand mine in too." She raised and nodded for Chun-yan to go in front of her. Mr. Li still imitated her just a lil' bit, and she was not quite ready to conquer her fear.

Chun-yan looked at Nirissa when she blushed. She was kinda like Bambi-chan, they blush easily. Maybe they're be good friends. She'll introduce them later. She saw how Nirissa was still slightly intimidated by Master but that's easy to believe. He was a very intimidating person if you didn't know him. She walked in front of Nirissa, shielding her away from her Master's view for now. She walked with a slight hop to her steps, happy and giddy.
She walked up to her Master and waited for him to acknowledge her. When he finally looked up, Chun-yan gave him a smile that went all the way to her eyes. She handed him her paper before stepping aside so he can get Nirissa's paper. She waited at the side, whistling a upbeat tune.
Jung-woo was reading over Zero's paper, when he heard steps coming towards him. He looked up at who was walking towards him when he saw Chun-yan. She gave him one of her special smiles, a smile she only smiles for him. He would give one back but, in public, he ordered her not to give any sign of them being Master and Charge. She handed him her paper before stepping aside. She was waiting for something. He looked back to the place she was and he saw another girl. He sensed something about her but he put no thought into it just yet. He still have time. It was only the first day. He waited for the girl to give him her paper.

Nirissa took a timid step forward, now finally at the front of Mr. Li's desk. Her arms reached out, her paper held between her fingers. She looked up and noticed his eyes upon her. Her heart skipped a beat, afraid that she would somehow do something catastrophically bad and be labelled as wrong-doer for the rest of her school career. Panic spawned from panic. Keep calm, keep calm, keep calm, she chanted in her head. This is not a good time. She turned her foot a bit, urgently wanting to leave the desk-stump thing, and return to her own.

Jung-woo looked at the girl in front of him. She was Chun-yan's friend so she was not on his 'black list' of people who he want dead. She looked she was starting to panic. He best take the paper before something happens. He took the paper from her hand and nodded to her. He also gave her a very, very small smile. It was more like a slight tilt on the corner of his mouth but he rarely smiles to anyone. He felt a small pulse of power coming from the girl. He knew she was human, since the scent gave it away. But there was something about this girl that must be special to allow her into this school. He has found his first person to research on after class ends. The paper he took from the girl was still in his hand along with the one Chun-yan gave him. He started to read them.
The one from Zero was enlightening. He had surprised him with the room decorations. He was right about the wood. It was enchanted to remain resistant to fire of all degrees. Jung-woo was an easy going guy if you get along with him. What Jung-woo got from Zero, he was an interesting kid. He was practical. He thought of the room to be normal but instead, he got something that isn't. He has learn to adapt and see weaknesses in territory. He was the type of guy who is more relaxed. Or at least that's what it seems like from the short paragraph.
The one from Chun-yan was like all her other works in the past. She focused more on the spiritual then the physical. She was more in tune with the mind then anything else. She would like this class. He was going to make them use their mind. It was only for fun. His mind started to think of what kind of topics he could give to his class. He already knew Chun-yan so her personality was easy to know. Kind, perky, friendly, and sometimes a crybaby. But loyal, strong, and wise.
The paper from Nirissa was interesting. It showed her character more then any of the others. She was honest and blunt. She was a simple girl. She didn't expect things to happen. She would go with the flow and go where things bring her. She was different.
This class is pretty interesting.

Nirissa caught sight of the slight smile, but merely thought of it as a twitch. Turning quickly on her toes, she began to walk towards her desk her pulse still racing. But, before she took two steps she gasped suddenly, stumbled back and curled over, her arms clutching her stomach as if someone had just kicked it. She took a single gasp of air, refilling her lungs, and looked around in horror, searching for watching eyes.

As Kenji finished, he stood up from the tree stump that he stood on and walked over to Jung woo, waiting for him to take the paper.

Upon hearing an odd sound Zero flinched up. Jolting his eyes around he attempted to detect where the noise came from. It was quite easy since the person that made was curling over. Quickly closing his sketchbook and putting down his pencil he dashed over to see what had happened and what was wrong. "Are you okay?" asked Zero kindly.

Chun-yan waited patiently for Nirissa to give her paper to Master. She saw the slight twitch on her Master's face, a smile, even it is a small one. She smiled at the sign of approval from her Master. She watched as Nirissa start to walk back before she doubled down in pain. Chun-yan ran over to Nirissa, holding her still, "Breathe Nirissa, breathe. In through the nose, out through the mouth. What happened?" She asked her as she watched Nirissa breathe.
Jung-woo looked up from reading Nirissa's paper and marking it an A, to see a boy standing before him. He was holding a paper, Jung-woo expected to be the assignment. He held out a hand for the paper when there was commotion not too far from the desk.
The girl, Nirissa, was on the floor, clutching her stomach. She was breathing hard and she had a look in her eyes like a frightened child. He saw Chun-yan walked up to her and he relaxed a bit. Chun-yan has an ability to feel what others are feeling. Only emotions though, thank God. Jung-woo would not be able to survive with knowing Chun-yan was in pain.
Jung-woo took the paper from the boy, Kenji and nodded to him. He got up from his table and walked over to Nirissa. "What's wrong, child?" He asked her in a kind, soft tone, a tone he uses when Chun-yan was acting unusually.
Chun-yan looked up to see her Master before her. He asked Nirissa what was wrong. Chun-yan was scared for her friend. She was feeling pain, even though she couldn't feel it herself. She wanted to help but she doesn't know what to do.
