Kranza nodded, "As you know there are people in this world who wish the violence to never end, they wish for war to spread and to watch this world descend into darkness, these people cannot be allowed to roam the world unchecked, if they will not stop forcing the world into this darkness then they must be...'taken care of' if you understand me. I do not make this decision lightly, I have asked them many times to stop what they do, however they have refused, we have only one more choice."

Kranza nodded, "I have your first, one named ZFatal, a necromancer, he is currently turning great fighters into assist trophies, you must stop this, be careful though, he is powerful, he can summon dark creatures and raise the dead, and by himself he is not to be trifled with."

"He is currently in the underground springs, he is asleep at the moment so if you hurry you might be able to disable him before he wakes up, if he stops then take the assist trophies he has and return them here, if possible tell Fatal of myself and my plan, we may be able to change him, if not....you know what to do." Kranza's words were cold and calm, reflecting no emotion.

An hour or two later, after Travis had already been escaped from and Fatal was free from pursuit once again, a letter appeared in the air, to fall softly, like a leaf, down and land on Kranza's throne/chair. The letter read: Hello, good friend.
We may not know each other, but we have a mutual acquaintance whom you tried to sic on me. Well, that proved to end... negatively, but with an added bonus: You have piqued my curiosity. Feel free to attempt to contact me under a less hostile context, but know you this: your plans, whatever they may be, will fail, should you try to subjugate me or my power. I work for no man, and you shall not steal the fruit of all my labor. You may manipulate or deceive, but lesser men than I have defied you, of that I am sure. Should you prove to be an enemy, I will not hesitate to show just how far above yourself your arrogance towers.
P.S. I wonder, how strong would your Trophy's Assist power be?

Kranza looked at the note and laughed, "He may be strong but he knows little of me, or my strength, however, I asked Travis to ask him to join us first, it seems that didn't work. He shrugged and sent his will lancing out, tracing Fatal's essence from the letter and contacting him. 'Hello, it seems my assistant failed to give you my offer, I told him to offer you to join us, or at least visit so that we may talk, I apologize if he was...over-zealous. Either way I invite you to visit me so that we may talk further. Also, if you attempt to attack me, or turn me into a trophy for your own gain, you won't survive it, this is not a threat, simply a fact.'

Fatal's mind would be found as indestructible as a steel ball bearing. Or, at least, that is what Fatal would have liked to believe. However, battles of the mind were not the necromancer's forte, and Fatal could only accept this as a fact of life. However, he did not welcome Kranza at any level, and what powers he had went immediately to guarding his own mind. From contact... from assault. From subjugation.
Fatal would never visit Kranza's throne. It was too easily a disadvantageous situation, easy to be trapped, easy to be killed.... A neutral middle-ground might be acceptable, but Fatal was not informing Kranza of this, mentally or physically.
It would need to wait until another time.

Kranza had penetrated deeper into Fatal's mind then he knew, he was already leaching a bit of information from Fatal, his immediate thoughts, and a few other useful scraps. Then his message continued, 'Should you choose to visit me in person you have my word that you shall not be harmed, and should we disagree you will be allowed to leave my domain in peace, after that however there are no guarantees, I'm sure you understand.

Between the lead surrounding Fatal at his current location, and his nearly violent resistance to telepathic contact, Fatal had heard not a word. If Kranza continued to walk his memories or thoughts, however, there would be repercussions. Fatal knew how to rebuke such unwanted invasions of the mind. He was an arcane sorcerer, after all.
