That one night Lol. Yeah. I loath TVG So I dont like to be asociated with them. So this allience with TMG has me troubled. Its my home. And well. Let see what happens. I might rejoin if the Alliance goes through. Im usually a clanless guy though. Well by standards I mean that you random invite everyone. I had like 4-6 invites. After I left. So.. Dont tell us It aint random. I have nothing against you. But TVG was it for me. I was there during its nazy type days and made me hate it. But the fact that its mostly N00bs in the "elite" was like not so elite. Oh and the Chatbox spam drove me nuts. xp Yeah I agree. ZEL must not have very high standards because daily I'd get around 8 people in clan chat saying "Where is the OMGWTF/Papa Saw/Where are the Wish Tree visions/etc... I once saw a CL 3 who was in the clan. Those standards can't be too high.

Yeah. Dont get me wrong Jan. Youre good players are very good and all. But your bad players... are really bad. And well And you know what they say: "Youre only as strong as youre weakest something" ... Something like that xp

ZEL is for our veteran players. The clan itself is for people to teach and be taught. According to the logic of popular opinion, the vampire clan thinks it is made up of vampires, the demon clans think they are demons, and so on and so forth. All anyone does is argue the meaning and their assumption of the application of the word. That doesn't even qualify as a logical fallacy. "Elite" is in the name. Is the clan rated number 1? Yes, it is. Even if there weren't vampire clans and the like, we still fulfill the definition of elite. Did you think we'd have a small useless clan of 10.0s sitting in a masturbatorial circle complimenting each other? No. The game is over for the majority of us, now what we can do is teach others. We do have bonus programs for those that really want to test their metal, but mostly we are about offering the most complete look at zOMG! for those that are new to the game or veterans. If being "elite" was purely a case of who has the most, and most active CL10s; this clan has 'em. Do you know who the best players were? I'll admit it, the Serpent Corp. They were a small clan with extremely good R&D team as well as the first to beat EB in it's full, difficult, buggy glory. The OP threw a hissy fit after we would not make her into a crew member of the clan and she threatened to leave unless we caved. We did not. Yay landy! Boo clan politics!

 Basically what you guys, That one night and MicahIsMe, say is that we are not "elite" because we have members that are not CL 10? If you think that, I am very sorry for that.
You, as many others, totally misunderstood a name of something for a concept or principle. Sure we have certain standards (such as 20k Avatar value joining criteria among other) but we do not recommend user to be CL 10 when they join our community. We are rather looking for members that bring something to this Clan, may it be creativity (art and such), out-of-the-thinking (for Clan events) or crewing up with others while playing zOMG.
Please do not mistaken the name "zOMG Elite" for the concept "Elitist". Thanks.
Not every player starts out as the Master of zOMG as yours truely here. That's why we have created numerous guides that try to help our more inexperienced member to progress through the game. Additionally we included a teaching system into our repertory that takes advantage of the experience of veteran members and helps our "novice" members.
Oh and btw, since Coco has added Jan to her ignore list he cannot answer in this thread anymore. Therefore, let's just hope other crew member of the zOMG Elite don't get ignored too...

Alright, everyone. Time for this side discussion to end, I refuse to let what happened to the zOMG Chatterbox happen here. Please, take this argument to PMs. Clan debates will no longer be tolerated here in this guild and from here on you will automatically be warned for doing so. Three warnings and you will be banned from this guild with little or no chance for exceptions. Please, continue this conversation in a kind way or I will have to take further measures.

But, if yoy say that the Serpent Corp are the best.. doesnt that make them the Elite? Wich would make you not so elite? Note: Im not saying that They actually are. I dont know. Elite to me is something special you know. Something you actually have hard to be in. And we know is not har to join your "elite". But meh. To each his own. Hell I was talking to Jan via Pm, I actually said I might rejoin later if the merger with TMG clan ( even though im not of the clan, just the guild) is ever completed.

The 20k barrier is good. It blocks a hell of alot noobs out. Personally I would have set the wall a little higher.

Yeah, I guess that's fine. What do you call a group of people that consist of the best in the game teaching new people to play? That's what we are. Serpent Corp aren't active. They also aren't Serpents. And we most certainly do have standards. I may suggest that we have some of the strictest standards outside of "Everyone must be 10.0".
