"Counter!" Renekai shouted relentlessly.
Chaos tried to leap out of range in the steely claws, but his leg was scratched. A thin line of blood seeped from the wound, soaking his white fur red. Chaos growled and fought back with his own claws. This was his fight! He would win!

Scout growled as the claws scraped across his skin, he never was what you could call a happy pokemon, but now he was really angry!
“Scout use Ice Punch!”
Scout leapt furiously at Chaos, swinging at him with both paws that had frozen into solid ice, “WEAVILE!” He was determined not to lose this battle.

Chaos winced as the punch sent him skidding away. He dug his claws into the hard street and made long furrows in the ground as he was forced away. At last he stopped. The punch had hit him on the jaw, but it didn't hurt too badly because the ice numbed it. After opening his mouth a few times, he decided that it was just a bruise.
"C'mon, Chaos!" Renekai shouted. "Rock Smash!"
Chaos balked at the thought of picking a rock up in his mouth, so he once more used his claws on the crumbling street. He howled loudly as he threw the rocks at Scout.

Scout was proud of his last move; it seemed to do quite a bit of damage. His anger was all but gone as he smirked at Chaos “Weavile” While he was busy gloating his didn’t notice Chaos throwing the rocks at him once more until it was too late and he was slammed hard into the cement, “Weavile! …wea”
Jacqui gasped, jumping down into the arena and rushing over to him, “Scout, I’m sorry. You did a fantastic job though!” she hugged him and stroked his ears a few times before returning him to his pokeball. Standing she smiled at Renekai, “Great battle! You and Chaos make a great team!”

Chaos listened to Jacqui, glanced at his trainer, and rolled his eyes. Yeah right. They weren't a team... They were just temporary allies.
"Thanks!" Renekai said brightly. "You two put up a good fight."
Chaos shook his head and trotted slowly back to the trainer's box. Now that the distraction of the battle was over, his wounds were really starting to hurt. "Sol..." he said, looking towards the exit.
"Right, let's go, Chaos!" The two left the stadium to get healed up at the Poke Center.
