"Probably not as fast as you. I usually fly if I need to be fast. I mean, I could beat the olympic speed runner, and then some- but I'm not so fast I'm invisible. Like running a block would probably take me seven seconds?" Tehra figured he could run it in like two or less. "What about you, how fast are you?"

He smirked at her question of how fast he could go. He stepped back, stretching his arms back, then he knealt down. He grinned under his mask and shot off at a break neck speed, papers, sand and wind shot past Tehra. After a few seconds, he shot past her again, skidding to a stop. He stood up and chuckled, holding up a sea shell, the beach being a few miles away, "Pretty fast." He smirked, knowing he shouldn't show off his speed, but he couldn't help himself.

Tehra smirked at him and gave him a nod. Then she flapped her beautiful black wings once and was in the air, floating in front of him. "But you can't do this...." She grinned and landed gently. "Flying is wonderful. Must be nice to be impervious to bullets though. I saw him shoot you..." she smiled at him gently. "I take it you have a secret identity that you won't tell me?"

He frowned, he did feel a bit jealous of her flight powers. He blinked and chuckled, "Oh well...im kinda impervious, normal bullets like that guy shot me with will bounce off with just a scratch, but I can be shot if they find something strong enough, im durable, not invulnerable." He blinked and chuckled, "Um...well yeah...you know heroes...gotta keep your identity secret...heh..."

"Mine isn't..." Tehra said with a sigh. "I wasn't smart enough to make a mask. I figured anyone that's gonna know me wouldn't be here. So I really hope I don't know you, and if I do... well.... don't tell anyone, kay?" she said with a grin as she placed a finger over her lips "Shh...." Tehra's eyes were alight with her grin, she enjoyed the Golden Bullet's company, he seemed interesting enough. "You heard of B.A.N.D.? To talk business I mean... I figure they've got a plan..."

He blushed a bit, nodding to her. When she asked about B.A.N.D. he tapped his chin, "Hmmm...oh that band...yeah I feel odd about them, able to sway entire crowds with there music, even getting them to give them money....something is up." He said looking at a torn poster of them, "I hear there gonna be at the prom at the high school."

"Yeah they are..." Tehra said, remembering the way she got her prom date was actually at a band concert. "Did you go to the concert at the PU, I was there... it was freaky when the audience began paying them and all that. I was immune luckily." she smirked lightly to herself, thinking how she'd literally stumbled upon a prom date. "You young enough to go to prom? I can't really tell because I can't see you through that ridiculous costume..." she said with a playful smirk.
((he'd probably know her as his prom date soon lol))

He narrowed his eyes, "Ah yeah...I was around there..." He had an idea of who she might be. He narrowed his eyes at her comment on his costume, "Uh yeah, im a student even.." He stretched and turned, "So um...what do we do with these guys?" He said kicking one of the crooks lightly.

"Well by now they're pretty scared. Normally I tie em up humiliatingly or I drop em off at the station. Sometimes they leave before I get the chance. Eh its up to you really. Depends on what you feel like doing I suppose." It was frustrating to Tehra. She didn't know who he was, but here she was standing plain as daylight before him. "How late you plannin on stayin out on your adventures Golden Bullet? It will take a toll on you..."

Tehra nodded and smiled. "Yeah I'll be there, I'm a student too. Besides, I wouldn't miss out on B.A.N.D. and a chance to kick their asses for the world." She smirked. "Do you want to meet up and fight crime together sometime?" she said with a bit of a laugh in her voice. "Company might be nice."

Tehra looked after him for a moment. She was curious who he was. Tehra would have to pay attention to the voices of the males at school from now on and try and figure out who this Golden Bullet was. With another smirk, she turned and leapt into the sky, flying off towards her apartment.

Mary wound up to slap the boy in front of her, but her hand swept through the air harmlessly. He had sent her away before she could even react! She was furious; not only hadn't she intended to kiss him, but she still didn't have any answers! But... she had to admit, that was rather clever of him. She'd definitely be seeing him again; she just wasn't sure under what circumstances.
She really just needed some time alone now. Certainly, there were many things she needed, but that was the most pressing right now. She had to think about what she had done... what she'd do next... how she'd even live. To most citizens of Delmor, this was considered the most dangerous part of town. But, to Mary, it was the only safe place left. She hurried down a few blocks and entered her gang's territory. She hadn't spoken to any of them in a while, but she didn't really want to quite yet. Ducking down a back alley, she found herself a place to sit: a partially rotted wooden crate. She placed her elbow on her knee and used her arm as a kick-stand. Then, she began to think.
Okay, okay... so, what do I do now? I can't go to the police--that's why I did that in the first place... I think... oh, I don't even know! Why... why'd I panic like that? I... I didn't want to do that! I was just... well, they were SUPERS, right? They'd've taken me away for sure! But... well, maybe not Alan... Alex? Ah, I forget. But I was trapped, and I was right there on the cliff and dear GOD, that kid FLEW! I know, I KNOW I shouldn't have, but... well, he could fly, right? He was a super, right? He would've caught her. Yet... I don't really know. I mean, maybe he was... oh, I don't know anymore. I just want this to go away... I want to be alone...
"It wasn't Cicero," a voice in the darkness said. Mary whirled around.

Mary recognized the voice immediately. “Don’t tell me it’s Plato,” she complained happily, looking back over her shoulder. There stood Red Letter, one of the other female members of her gang. Red stood in the shadows, idly playing with a butterfly knife. Her hair was pulled into pigtails and heavily curled, which seemed to fit in with her somewhat Gothic style of dress. Under the bust line of her corset top, she had sewn a crimson letter A into her dress. She was the daughter of a preacher, so she had gotten more than her fair share of lessons on sin. So, she decided it would be funny to walk around with the symbol of adultery proudly displayed for all to see. She was rebellious like that, and she certainly had more than her fair share of lovers. But, she was overall a good person: dependable, if a bit frail in a fight; honest to a fault; and quite learned when it came to philosophy. “Nope,” she said, flicking the blade open and revealing a book she had kept hidden behind her back. “Philo. Contemporaries, and they were close. But, he was the one who said that. Believe me, I checked through all of his works.” Mariana grinned. “Heh, you didn’t need to do all that. I would’ve believed ya.” Red cocked up the corner of her lips in disbelief. “Yeah, okay, so maybe I’d have bullheaded through it for a little while. Anyway, where’s the rest of the gang?” Red crossed her arms, replying, “Well, your guess is good as mine. I haven’t seen hide nor hair of them since the hazing on Walnut Street. I’ll bet you even money Spinoza’s on the bottle again over at Equity, and I heard Legatus was somewhere over here. Don’t know about the rest, though.”
Mary didn’t reply to this. She looked over at Red, and somehow Red knew. This was a moment of silence, something that the gang had become fond of. But, this time, there was an air of uneasiness about. It didn’t need to be vocalized; Red could instantly tell that there was something on Mary’s mind but, if she respected her, she wouldn’t pry. After all, Mary needed time. But, if it would help at all, Mary knew Red was there to lend an ear. Still, Mary silently thanked her for not being intrusive and for respecting her space. After a good two minutes or so, Mary spoke up. “I think I killed someone.” Red’s eyes widened. She wanted to scold her, to question her, to turn her in, and hide her all at once. But, Red listened like a dutiful friend. Mary continued, “I knew it was wrong. It’s morally and ethically reprehensible. I… I was afraid.” She seemed to stop there, but her body was shaking. “Afraid of what?” prodded Red. “I don’t know! I was cornered! I… I panicked. I knew those supers would try to go after the girl, so I gave her a little push, and… I mean, there’s still a chance she’s alive, right?” The silence that followed weighed on Mary’s conscience. “…right. That doesn’t make it right. I can still be judged. Morals aren’t subjective, or else we wouldn’t have a basis for comparison. I may have taken a life… that’s not something I can easily ignore, ya know? It’s… I mean, now that I know I’m capable of this sort of thing, I can’t really go back, can I?” Red stopped her right there. “You’re not thinking of doing anything stupid, are you? Don’t use a permanent solution for a temporary problem.” Mary held her head for a moment. Was she really thinking of doing something like that? No… she wasn’t going out that way. If she had to go out, it would be with a bang. “Right. It’s not my job to pass sentence. Besides, there’s still a lot of stuff I gotta do.” “You can’t redeem yourself, though. You know that, right?” interrupted Red. Mary shrugged. “Sure, but that doesn’t mean I can do good for its own sake.” Red nodded. “Now that’s more noble. I mean, you’d be giving yourself without expecting anything in return. And hey, we might even get to scrap a little bit while we’re at it!” “YEAH! We can be like vigilantes, meting out justice, helping out the common man!” “Where the government fails, where society fails,” “We fill in the gap! It’ll be awesome!” “Wait… but what about the cops?” Mary stared at Red incredulously. “Screw the cops.”
