As the debris flew over top of him, HALO turned on his Com-Link, "MAX! Back-up! Deep behind enemy lines. Several armored units behind me, watch your step." he ordered and let the song play again. He jumped out of the fox hole and ran forward, taking out any surviving soldiers in the area before taking cover at the base of a bunker.

Max took a few steps back and tumbled down backwards. "Oh." Was the only sound that escaped her lips before she hopped back up and get behind one of the walls that had been haphazardly built. "HALO? Do you need me now?" She asked, he would give her the final word, but he usually said no, she was not that good and she was a little more reluctant than he was to kill, and a whole lot less talented, He had been the star, the great prodigy, and she was just back up...

HALO looked around the bunker and hid again as several bullets whizzed past the wall, "Yes! That's an order Max! I'm pinned down and requesting assistance!" HALO said into the com. This was one of the first times he had ever needed help, but the Night Force leader was on the battlefield and he couldn't afford any screw-ups.

HALO shook his head, "Nope, follow me. Take out any Night Force you find, save the leader for last. I want him to know how hopeless this is." he ordered. HALO changed his LANCE into the weapon and jumped up to the bunker window. He stabbed the two men operating the gun and crawled in, weapon ready.

Max nodded and followed without comment, she did not kill though he had taken out anyone in the immediate area so she had not had to get her hands dirtied. She too crawled in beside him. Her cold eyes scanned the area and she cringed when she saw a whole battalion setting in. She didn't want them to do this, they were so foolish. "Should I?..." She pointed at them wondering if she should go take care of it or if they were ok to be there.

Max nodded and slipped out from safely back into the line of fire. She focused and looked over the battalion. She could do it... She changed her LANCE into it's weapon form and ran at them sliding the blade though two people before twisting and jetting into the center of the now chaotic crowd, she felt a bullet graze her ribs but kept moving she slashed and hacked her way though ignoring the blood and screams, just focusing on the music. But soon her hands where covered in human blood and people lay mostly dead but a few un-fatally wounded around her and one or two men actually faking death laying on the ground. she did not think it was right to kill them, they were no threat to her. and she really could not refocus with the blood on her hands, that would never come off. she trembled a little and bit her lip. 'it's ok, this is what you are suppose to do, they knew the consequences of their actions...' she thought to herself but she really could not bring herself to kill the not yet dead or fakers, so she turned to look back at were HALO was watching.

Max couldn't move right away but once she came to she ran at one of the units and ripped it open with her weapon, she killed every solider inside but could not bring herself to kill the technicians. So she moved on leaving them alive inside the broken tank. She hoped at HALO would not check her work, but if he did she was in for trouble. At the next Tank she did that same receiving a bullet to her good forearm and ignoring it as best she could, she was not entirely immortal.
