Still... but those thoughts trail off into vague embarrassment.
... Ah, Setsushi has just remembered something that he would like to ask Madame. He feels ashamed doing so, as it feels an awful lot like an imposition on her, but... he was wondering if Luna knew of any jobs in the area, something light on manual labor, and, ermmm... unpleasant humans? sweatdrop
He is hoping to help one of his friends find work, but... he is a rather sensitive man, and Setsushi worries...

Jobs in the area... light on manual labor and unpleasant humans...
Luna had to think about that. She and Jokeph once worked in a plant nursery when she was younger, and while she enjoyed her time spent there, there was quite a bit of manual labor involved.
Anything involving retail or service was right out, as Setushi likely already knew.
Perhaps something in data entry? Was Setsushi's friend capable with computers, or was he at least a quick learner?

Computers? ... It's obvious from Setsushi's projections that he has only a tentative grasp of what they are. And he is afraid, too, that his friend, who has lived with him nearly continuously since arriving in Gaia, probably is the same. sweatdrop
Setsushi supposes he could propose it to him, though. It's unfortunate that the skills cultivated in the Temple of Name don't seem to be in much demand in Gaia...
He peers into his cup, his feelings slightly brooding.

Skills cultivated in the temple of Name?
Luna was intrigued. What sorts of skills were those?

Ah, well. Setsushi's friend is a priest, he explains -- a specialist in knowledge of Name and Chaos. The common priests carry out ritual and magical tasks for the populous, presiding over Naming ceremonies, healing the ill of body or mind, educating the young in natural and moral philosophy, and that sort of thing. His friend is... more of a cloistered scholar, though, a diviner and an arbiter of moral quandaries facing the Empire.
... All things which, well, no one is clamoring to pay for in Gaia. sweatdrop
He is a good, gentle man, wise... in some ways, but not in all, and he tends to get himself into... bad situations and relationships. So Setsushi is trying to help him find a placement in which there will not be so much danger of those things.

So his skills were primarily of importance to Porcelain, yes? Surely, there would be those Porcelain on Gaia who would require his services, and surely there would be those on Gaia who would be willing to ensure he is taken care of.
Not that Luna was suggesting he "market himself" to Porcelain or resort to begging, but if money were truly an issue...

Possibly, but...
Well... many things that the priests divine seem specific to the Golden World. Interpretation of the weather, recommendations for the laws... his friend actually was the moral advisor to the Empress. But... there are very few Porcelain in this world, no Empire, and Setsushi is not even sure this world operates under the same spiritual and magical laws as his homeland.
Money is not really an issue... Setsushi just feels that staying cooped up is unhealthy for his friend and that it might help him build confidence to support himself a little.
... ... ... Perhaps they can found a little roadside temple, Setsushi jokes.

Perhaps he would be able to counsel others, as well? Luna wondered if he would have difficulty being exposed to the troubled hearts and minds of those who would seek his aid, though...

Ah, yes, Setsushi responds, affirming Luna's suggestion with an implication that he has thought of that as well. ... However...
... Setsushi is sure that his friend would throw himself into such work and do everything in his power to work through others' troubles and help them heal... but in fact he is not entirely well himself, and Setsushi worries that he would quickly exhaust himself. In a way, his temperament is too suited to that work while his own mental state and health are no--...t.
... Setsushi's brow furrows as another idea comes to him, which he operates upon furiously behind a wall before presenting to Luna: actually -- though Luna is herself employed at the motherhood clinic specifically, does she know such counselors who serve the general populace? And the cost of their services?

Luna did not personally know others in her field, no, but she did know that those who served the general populace commanded quite a large sum of money for their services.

Setsushi supposes that makes sense, as they are trained healers. sweatdrop
But... yes. His friend is likely to need to take that medicine himself, before trying to distribute it to others.

Was there anything, Luna wondered, she could do to help?

Well... Setsushi does not know. He understands little of this kind of medicine and what kind of treatment is appropriate when... and is not sure that his friend would agree to be helped. He has secrets and secret wounds; thus Setsushi cannot identify him to Luna.
... Setsushi doesn't seem to realize how easily it would be to identify him based on the previous descriptions.
... But he supposes he can speak to him and get his opinion, and perhaps point him to Luna for further information if he consents? ... What does Madame think he should do?

Luna, quite honestly, did not know what he should do. He knew his friend much better than she, and she could not give good advice without knowing the person in question.
But she felt that Setushi would know the right thing to do. Felt, perhaps, was the wrong word-- she knew he would do the right thing.

Setsushi blushes slightly, shyly retreating from her compliment -- No, no, Setsushi is really quite foolish and ignorant.
But he will confer with his friend and perhaps bring him by sometime -- though as he knows Madame Luna is quite busy, would there be a particular day or time that would be convenient for her?
