"Ummmm Maybe?"His eyebrow rose, one eye direct over her, the other covered by the long fringe; with a playful smirk tauntingly curled upon his lips. "Its not my fault if your faaaalling for me" he snickered confidently, but he hardly meant it. He was just kidding around with the tiny doe seemingly that she was easily wound up.
He'd realised she was staring but he didn't mind, every now and again he appreciated being noticed and having his words taken into account. It was... Nice to be acknowledged. It was then she had uttered a few words, causing his gaze to flicker back to the open short route.
"Oh right... The paradise route" He gave a shrug, and a 'hnn' grumble walking forth into the darkness, almost disappearing - then Keii came to mind. Expression melting into a gentle, thoughtful one, he made effort to look back, over his shoulder. Smiling.
"Come on Keii... You can trust me" He paused briefly, closing his eyes to allow the most quietest of sounds ahead to be heard. Thankfully however for the time being non was heard, and he re-opened them to the fragile creature. "If we bump into anyone suspicious or dangerous, no problem! I'll handle them for you."
When it came to skillz, he had them. That was one thing he was confident about... How to go about fighting and conflict.

Alex's teasing comment created an uproar in keii's head,'Whaaaa...no way!'
Keii just quietly laughed in yet another shy manner. He licked to tease, and usually she'd straight away let go of everything, instantly calling him a 'meanie', but she didn't, not this time.
'Paradise route...'
Keii herd his little grumble,'did I do something wrong?'
When he looked at her smiling, she smiled back, his smile didn't reach the facial muscles near his eyes.
"I do trust you",she nodded taking her first steps into the dark abyss,
she herd his reply to her question, to tease him she said,"sure you will."
She laughed to herself, her eyes making out figures in the darkness,
Alex's pelt shocked her slightly, with a light glow.
She smiled and tilted her heard looking at him,"so...what's your girlfriend like?"
Now she was being quite nosey.

"Good. I'm glad" Alex replied calmly as the two were soon consumed by the cave's darkness. Keii had been silent, most she had been since they met and to the ignorant eye, he'd wondered if it had been what he had said? His gaze was set in the direction they clambered onwards, with ears perked in cautiousness. It was dark, rotted places like this that Alex was most alert.
Slowly being dragged out of thought an back into conversation, the subject matter startled him. 'where had that accusation come from?'
"What girlfriend?" He asked curiously. Never in his life had he had a simple girlfriend. 'I see how it is' Alex let the dark sapphires follow the dim gleam of Keii's coat, easily enough keeping the steady pace she walked.
"I've never been allowed such a pleasure to keep someone other than my family or friends close. My travels tear me from having someone special. Although, maybe one day I will" He lingered up on a small smile, knowing it would be possible one day. "What about you? " It was only polite to return an answer afterall.

Keii nodded not really taking notice for the first time. She shuddered and the damp dripped from the roof of the cave and rustless were herd from above,'bats and bugs?'
"oh...I-I-I'm sorry I just assumed...",he words trailed off. Alex was big, but the cave was bigger, Keii felt so small, she gave a n inward sigh, thinking about what it'd be like a little bit taller or bigger.
"No doubt about that", Keii plodded along through the caves darkness, with hooves dragging in the damp floor.
"No, everyone is too scared, that's usually why we Cerynei are Cerynei exclusive, but not me, I'm open to any type that'll love me...oneday."
Keii shuddered again and gave a little wiggle,'this cave is horrendous.'
