((I think I'm gonna wrap this up soon, before the pair run out of things to say to each other. It's been an awesome RP, I want to have another with you sometime if you'd have me ^_^ ...would you mind if I added Veyes to T'ka's list of acceptable people/friends? xD))
If T'ka knew how much Veyes wanted a flit...she would offer to fly to Southern and see if she might be able to procur him one someday. He seemed deserving enough. Shells, Daeok and Xythe both liked him a lot. And the common sense was that people who could impress flits often had what it took to impress dragons. Then again, she also still had to get a flit for her cousin...she had promised after all. Shards. She had almost forgotten about that. T'ka had often thought that if her flits were anyone elses, particularly Xythe, she wouldn't have liked them. They had a lot of annoying points. But they were hers, and that made all the difference. She loved them to death, even if her words were stern and her hand firm.
She looked over the drawing, smiling a little in pleasure. Haanyath really was a pretty girl, even if the others didn't see it. "It looks amazing. You have a knack for this," she admitted. T'ka was quick to complement, so when she did, it meant something. Veyes would go places. She knew it. Felt it. She sincerely hoped he impressed. If he could at least see some of the good in Haanyath...then T'ka was indebted in a way to him. They shared a secret! She felt a stirring in her mind as Haanyath had a fleeting dream, no doubt of flying, or being complemented, or having queens obey her. Haanyath spent a lot of time explaining why she was better than queens.
T'ka took the marble with a thankful nod, slipping it into her pocket. She chuckled as Xythe's eyes bulged, quickly dropping the sulking. "Be good and you can have it later," T'ka teased. Xythe's eyes were slow to remove themselves from T'ka's pocket. With a flit sigh, she hopped back onto Veyes' shoulder when released, determined to show thanks to the gifter of her new favorite thing. She gave Veyes' cheek a good licking, and even went so far as to try and groom his hair a little. Something usually reserved for T'ka. He might not appreciate the gesture, but T'ka did. And she would be lying if she said she didn't feel a little jealous. But oh well. Flits were quite independent, as were dragons. And in the end, she knew that she and Xythe were human and -mini- dragon. And that nothing could change that.
