Rend kept his ears back, listening to her following footsteps as he weaved in and out of the forest, slipping through the shadows easily. The sunlight dappled their coats as it shone through the treetops and he smiled at the simplistic beauty of it all.
Simplistic beauty, just like his Voila!...
He paused as he came upon a small den, a den that still carried the scent of a mother and her puppies, though they had long-since left. He sat down right before it and sent a pointed glance in Chivosi's direction. "The best I know about."

Chiv found thier trip rather plesant, this land seemed lush and full of game, a good place for wolves she thought absently to herself, perhaps she would stay for a while,or at least spend long then normal passing through...
So caught up in her thoughts was she that she barely registered the fact that Rend had stopped moving, weaving to the side she stopped beside him, gently laying the hare on the ground as the scent of other wolves was detected. Faintly..clearly it had been empty for quite some time. Inspecting the den she wagged her tail slightly to show her agreement. It was in fact a nice den.
"Did you know the wolves who stayed her before?"

Rend settled back, shoulders untightening and the weight lifting from them momentarily as he watched her, watched her face light up as she inspected the den.
"Hmm?" His eyes trailed to the forest, to the new scent of wolf that made his hairs on the back of his neck prickle. "Oh. No. Never met them. I just knew of the den..."

The she-wolf moved with utter confidence, the confidence of an alpha, as she was one. Her tail flagged out behind her like a proud banner and her ears were set high upon her head. Her white coat reflected the sun's rays away, the navy patterning soaking it up and warming her.
The scents swirled around on the breeze. Piper breathed in, headed away from Gomorrah. It was time she took a break. Being alpha was hard work, even with the small-but-growing pack that she had. Hurricane could watch the pack -- and the pups -- for that matter. She had faith in him...even if he was a softie.
She smirked as she came upon two wolves, the first dark brown and cream and the second with a black coat sprinkled with scars. Her dark eyes closed in on the other she-wolf, deciding her to be the bolder of the two of them. Then she preened herself quickly before padding forwards with a sly, "Hello there. Nice den."

Chiv aknowledged rend's answer with a slight wag of her tail her attention still focused on the den - it was nicely built but may need a bit of shoring up if she planned to stay longer then a few days. Which for her would be a feat all in itself.
Glancing at Rend she took note of his attention to the woods around them and scanned woods around them just as the white and navy she-wolf made her appearence. It was apparant to chiv that teh she-wolf was an alpha her cofident walk and self assured body posture was easy enough to read - even to a wolf who had spent very little time in pack life. Was this the alpha rend had spoke of before?
Casting her eyes away from the alpha's gaze Chiv flattened her ears slightly and wagged her lowered tail in a friendly welcomng manner, she wasn't going to outright grovel at the alpha's feet..but she'd make sure to show her the respect her position required.
"yes it is a nice Den, I merely wished to make use of it for a night or two, unless of course you have a prior claim?"
Chiv doubted she did, she doubted Rend would have led her to a pack-owned and guarded den, but if she chose to make a claim well...Chiv was hardly in a position to dispute it.

Rend's eyes widened as the white wolf came into view, looking between him and Chivosi. A whine crept up his throat and slowly, cautiously, he lowered his body to the ground, dropping to his side with a worried wag of the tail. He looked down at the alpha's paws, tail tucking as she stared at him for a moment before addressing Chivosi.
He'd never met this wolf before, but he wished he never had. Authority figures scared the hell out of him and this new wolf was no different than Twist... His body gave a shiver, ears flat against his head.

Piper's eyes danced as the scarred-up male lowered himself to the ground like the rightful omega he was. It had been awhile since she'd seen someone so submissive. Perhaps... She breathed in. No. He didn't smell too much like pack or a home. Neither did the female. She scented the air again. No. Nothing. Her tail gave one wag, then stilled, wavering in the spring air.
She gave a silent laugh, body shaking for just a moment. She cracked a smile to the female. "No. I don't have claims on this den. I'm just passing by," she said airily. "I am Piper, alpha of Gomorrah... I couldn't help but notice that neither of you smell like a particular place indeed. Would you be looking for a place to call your own?" Her dark eyes glittered as she took in first Rend, then Chivosi. General recruitment was something she wasn't used to doing.

Chiv cast a glance a Rend as he whined, she would be foolish indeed to challenge an alpha - but foolish or not she knew she would if the white and navy female turned out to be aggressive. If only to protect her new..and well..only friend.
She was pleased to see this would not be happening as the alpha seemed content enough. piper she introduced herself and Chiv sank to her haunches as she continued to speak.
"I am Chivosi, pleased to meet you Alpha Piper,I cannot speak for my companion but I believe he has a home and family of sorts already. I myself am just passing through it has been a long while since I belonged to a pack. I'am afraid I am new to these lands and have not heard of the Gomorrah pack"

"I-I-I'm Rend. From Agua A-Azul," Rend stammered out.
As Piper turned towards him, he spread his legs a little, pinning his tail between them. She merely laughed and ignored him. He curled up into a ball, head on his paws, pale eyes focused on Chivosi. What would his friend do? Gomorrah was rumored to be a pack of Sin... Wolves there bathed in it, ate it for breakfast. But... A pack -was- a pack. Perhaps Chivosi didn't care...

Piper's ears flicked towards the vagabond. They pricked forwards, muzzle breaking into a smile. Agua Azul... Twist's pack. Her mate's family pack. She nodded, though she was curious to why such a submissive little freak would be apart of Twister's army of darkness. The pack was bordered on insane, after all...
She turned back to Chivosi. What an interesting name... "If you're new to Telk, then I hope you are pleased with our lands." She grinned. "Telk is beautiful, inside and out." She hadn't heard of the pack? No bother, only a few had. "Well if you ever want a family to call your own...consider coming among my ranks. You look like a formidable huntress. My mate and I could use a few more." Again, she flashed a smile, trying to be genuine. Trying, anyway. Her gaze kept darting to Rend.

Chivosi blinked slowly as Piper laughed and ignored Rend's stammered statement, it was to be expected she told herself, and perhaps if she had just ignored him Chiv would not be bothered..it was the fact that she laughed at him which made her bite her tongue. She inwardly warned herself of just how foolish it would be to say something and kept her feelings to herself.
"it is a kind offer, I shall keep it in mind"
Chivosi replied, it seemed a fairly diplomatic response, casting her gaze about the forest she continued to response.
"It does seem to be a fine land - far more plentiful then those I have previously traveled through"

Piper felt none of the animosity that came from the dark pelted female. Even if she had, she would've never considered the fact that the feelings were linked with the fact that she laughed at the lowly omega. Omegas were, for the most part, dirt in Piper's mind and dirt was to be purged.
She smiled and stretched slightly, paws digging into the earth. "You can find Gomorrah near the dunes. Or you could scent us out." She doubt the female would ever forget -her- afterall. She turned to look back at Rend. "I'll be off. Rend, Chivosi." She nodded and padded off without another word, back to Gomorrah.

Rend waited until after her footsteps had faded to stretched back out, his lanky body moving into a sit. He didn't meet Chivosi's gaze, embarrassed by his own actions towards the alphess. He took a breath, then looked to the treeline. "I... I suppose I should head back. Bipolar. She will expect me before dark..." Which was a lie; Bipo never forced him to come home. He just liked to return before dark, which was when the monsters came out. "I hope you will find a destination, Chivosi. I hope this den will serve you well and perhaps, perhaps we'll meet again." He met her eyes, wagging his tail before slinking back towards Agua Azul.

Chivosi watched as Rend slunk back into the forest she gave him a final farewell yip as he dissapeared into the underbrush, sighing slightly before picking up the hare and crawling into the den to eat and sleep. Alone. Like normal.
