Nagendra hesitated a moment before lifting his shoulders n a little shrug. “Sure okay, Chess it is... I think the book with the moves in it should still be in the box by the board, so we can take a look at that first, make sure we know what we’re doing...” he would have probably preferred to play something else, but he seemed willing enough to give this a go for now... it was better than doing nothing after all, and it would be practice. If it went well enough he might even be able to get better enough to beat Faythe... he’d like that, that was for certain.
The draconic scent shifted himself around on his seat a little more. “Want to go upstairs now then..? You can take the rest of the cake and stuff upstairs as well, we can have a game of chess and look at my treasures. There’ll be more people down here soon and it can get a little noisy, Faythe likes it when I stay out of the way when that happens... I don’t really mind though.” Faythe was worried about his tail and horns, he knew that, but he didn’t really care what the older than thought. He liked his tail, and his horns. Faythe could just get over it.
He hopped to his feet and gestured at the door, quite willing to lead the way across the room, through the door and up the stairs if Seph wanted to follow him.

Chess. He liked the sound of the word, it sounded simple, something that he could pick up fast with focus - which he had. He couldn't even imagine trying to play without reading the rules of it first. They surely wouldn't put them in with the package otherwise.
Seph gave a nod at the offer to go upstairs and once the other stood up and made a gesture of where to go he followed him up, picking up his cake and tea which he'd paid for with the last of his money. Rather, Sara's... No, his money. At the mention of the other Scent's... whatever it was... was not liking noise a common characteristic of adults? Sara didn't like a lot of noise either. Then again, he wasn't quite sure what she did like.
His eyes flickered to the cake and tea in his hand, wondering if she would like this. Maybe he could ask for the other to pack this up for him?
