((Kirinpedia says they make noises like horses, elk, etc so I think you're good ^^))
She returned the nod then walked over. Amphitrite knew no one, so having a friend or two certainly wouldn't hurt. "It seems your young ones are enjoying themselves on this fine day." She smiled, shaking her head a bit to loosen her mane. Tiny droplets of water, gathered in her hair from the ocean spray, scattered. "I'm Amphitrite."

 Crouched down in the large ferny brush, a small filly watched the other kirin talk. Her blue eyes were wide with both fear and curiosity. She had hatched alone near the beach and had wandered only a short way the last few nights. Would one of those big things be able to feed her? The leafy plants, though tasty, were too hard to chew, and swallowing it whole gave her a tummy ache.
Looking for something easier to eat, she hadn't wandered very far before hearing the voices. None of them sounded like the voice she had heard from inside the egg. So she crouched down and watched, blue mane falling damp across her eyes.

"Greetings, Amphitrite. I am Coquille, and this" She said, nudging the black, winged foal with her nose, who turned around sharply to nudge her back, "Is Hirondelle..This one" nudging the brightly colored foal, "Is Marisol."
Hirondelle almost fell off of Allus's back from being nudged and wiggled even more to stay on top of him. She licked his dorsal fin and nickered. She thought she saw something bright in the bushes, but was still trying to make sense of the other noises Coquille made. All she did was look at the bush with bright eyes.

His ears flicked back at Hirondelle climbed onto his back. "Better be careful back there, falling off might hurt little one," He spoke lightly yet his attention was brought forward when Marisol pulled on his tiny stub of a horn. He lightly pulled back his head playing tug of war with the little one.

She made a nickering sound akin to laughter. "Quite enthusiastic they are, indeed." She bowed her head. "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Coquille."
As she turned her head, she caught glimpse of something. Another foal. "Another young one..? Is she yours as well, Coquille?" She slowly approached the young filly, taking care to avoid startling her.

She watched the kirin her size climbing on the yellowish male. They didn't seem afraid of the giant beings...
Angie's small body made her quick breathing clear as she watched the adult come closer, having been spotted. Though afraid, she slowly poked her head through the ferns, eyes flashing to look at everyone as she sniffed the air to smell the female before her. She wouldn't move further yet. Nickering, her head dropped back again, eager to see what the one coming closer would do.

Allus played with the little ones keeping them entertained. He didn't mind it really, in fact he loved playing with the two. He also didn't mind if they climbed on him or nipped at him. He just wanted them to be careful so they didn't hurt themselves.

Hirondelle shook her mane and nickered happily at Allus. She looked back at the bushes and tilted her head at the glimpse of another foal. She scooted off his back and tumbled head first onto the ground. Standing back up, she shook the sand from her and trotted clumsily to the bush, stumbling a few times along the way. She had yet to get the muscles working in her wobbly legs.
Marisol went after her sister for a little bit before looking back at Allus. She nickered at him and turned back to her sister's side as they approached the hiding foal.

A small smile appeared on the Stallions face. He too pushed himself to his feet and followed the two foals. He watched them carefully from behind, curious at where they were headed. He had yet to see the other foal in the distance.

Amphitrite smiled, kneeling down. She keept a bit of distance between herself and the foal, not wishing to frighten the little one. "Hello, young one. It's all right. None here will harm you." Slowly her expression turned to one of concern. Where were the foal's parents?

Her eyes were wide and curious as she saw the others her size start to come over as well. She canted her head as the big one closest to her spoke. She sounded nice... but it certainly wasn't who had been outside her egg from before.
She poked her nose through the brush again, sniffing delicatly. It looked like everyone else was coming over too! She ducked back behind the wall of ferns with a squeak, gasping slightly. What would they do with her?
She thought of the other two that were her size. They seemed safe, so why wouldn't she be? Crouched low to the ground with determination, she shuffled back through the foilage, head poking fully into the clearing. Behind the curtain of leaves, her tail was tucked nervously.

Marisol stayed by her adoptive sister and nipped at her ears. She listened to her sister attempt her name, then followed suit "Mer..uhh Meri..sol.." She said and shook her head with excitement at her first word. She moved a little closer to the foal and sniffed the air around her, finding her scent.
Hirondelle tilted her head and whinnied softly. She approached the foliage and became face-to-face with the unknown foal. She nickered and, remembering what Coquille would call her, she tried too say her name "Eeer...ron..del.." She said slow and carefully. Her voice was new and rough but had a higher pitch, not just from her age. She craned her neck to see Coquille and tried her name "Ko...keel!" She said awkwardly and loudly.
Coquille watched her foals vigilantly and upon hearing them speak for the first time, speak her name even, she jumped to her feet and cantered over to them. "Yes, my dears, those are names" She told them as she nuzzled them and beamed with pride. "And what is yours?" she asked the brightly colored foal.

Finally spotting the other foal Allus' head perked up. His ears at a playful alert, his tail swishing behind him. "Play too?" he questioned the other foal as he trotted near the orange one. Not even thinking twice that it could scare the poor thing.

Angie looked at the other foals, copying their motions of sniffing for scents. Encouraged, she started to come out, but seeing the large yellow male start boldly for her, she did indeed get startled. With a soft bleat she shot out of the ferny brush, passing the others her size to hunker under Amphitrite, who had first spoken and seemed nice. Her blue eyes watched Allus fearfully as she cowered behind the female's legs.

Hirondelle fluttered her wings and pranced to the bright orange foal. With bright eyes she peered under Amphitrite and licked the foal's cheek. "Hello?" she said playfully. Then she reared on her hind legs, flapping her wings, but she had no prior practice and did not leave the ground. "Play?" she asked, tilting her head.
Marisol looked up at Allus and trotted behind him. She pounced on his swishing tail, trying to catch it, but always being a second too late. She nickered happily, "Play! Fun!"
Coquille laughed softly, and hummed to the little orange foal, watching it with gentle eyes. "There's no need to be afraid, little one" she said, simply and tenderly.
